[justify]It was decided that you have to buy these animals from the store so that the game doesn't become unrealistically overrun with them. There was a point when the site was much smaller where you didn't have to buy them.
Also, you would just roleplay it like you normally do. You don't click the 'use item' button once you buy it, it doesn't do anything. You just have to buy it and you can jump right in.[/justify]
