Corruptstar shifted back to a cat, trotting beside Shadynight and she looked at him with concerned eyes. "Wish you could get away from what?"

Bliss followed him, her pelt brushing his. "I'm sorry.. Do you st-still want to be my mate?" She asked him, her eyes wide and dull with sadness. Her paws and tail dragged across the grass, getting sticks and leaves stuck in her fur.

"Yeah, I'm not stupid." Vinewhisker growled, everycat seemed to forget about who he'd been trained by. "The original clans; Thunderclan, Shadowclan, Windclan and.. Ugh, I've forgotten.. Something like Soggyclan.."

[ooc; they aren't lost or anything, it's just that their roleplayers haven't been on yet.]

Blotchpelt flicked his tail for the two apprentices to follow him.

"Y-you're sure?" Bliss wanted to know if he still liked her, and she didn't want him to waste his life with her if he didn't want to. She nudged him softly. "Should we go a bit faster? We might reach the mountains before moonhigh.."

Vinewhisker looked down the tree to where Shadowscar had shifted into a coyote. He jumped down from his perch, and on the last branch he grabbed it with his hand and swinging to the next branch. keeping pace with the patrol.

Vinewhisker swung through the trees directly above Shadowscar. "Are all she-cats this touchy?" He smirked at her as he scraped her head with his foot.

"If you say so." Vinewhisker smiled at her, but he had no idea if she was looking or not since she seemed intent on getting away from him. "No matter how fast you go, I can keep up.."

Vinewhisker took off after her, his bright orange arms working hard to keep up. The little race made him remember the time he ate on a patrol and Corruptstar made him climb trees like this the whole way around the territory. He kept pace with her up to the tree, and pulled himself up onto the branch above her and looked down at her, smirking.

Bliss purred and rubbed her cheek against his as they ran. "Thank you.." he purred, waving her tail happily. She looked ahead to the mountains, a new question coming into her mind. "Are we going over or around?"

Vinewhisker raced through the trees, ahead of Shadowscar, but something was wrong; he could hear her paw-steps. He shifted into a cat and leapt onto the ground, his paws thudding on the forest floor as he ran. Oh great.. Daft she-cat! He spotted a dark lump on the ground and ran faster, before stopping next to her. "Shadowscar? What happened?" He nudged her gently, his round eyes growing concerned.

"How am I supposed to know?" Bliss mewed, giggling. "I've barely been out of that two-leg den before!" She looked towards the mountains, wondering about what it would be like up there. "Maybe it's a bit dangerous up there.."

Vinewhisker licked Shadowscar's cheek. "You'll be fine.." He turned to Poppyflower, who was muttering something. "Should I carry her back?"

"Yes.. Stupid trees.." Vinewhisker grinned at Shadowscar. "And I have no idea what that is. I'll carry her back to camp while you go and get some."

"The tribe? Oh, nevermind." Bliss remembered about the tribe he had mentioned the previous day. "We could just follow the forest around it..?" She mewed, she didn't want to go through the mountains because the there would probably be all kinds of dangers there which she wouldn't be able to protect herself against, and she didn't want to put Hollowclaw in any more danger.

"You don't need to be carried, but you are." Vinewhisker put a paw on her shoulder to stop her from getting up.

Vinewhisker Shifted into a monkey and picked Shadowscar up in his arms. He nodded to Poppyflower before waddling through the undergrowth towards camp, since he couldn't walk easily on his feet.

Blotchpelt trotted out into the forest and stopped for a second to lick some mud from his fur-less side before turning to see if any more cats had joined them.
