Thornkit shivered from relief and fear all at the same time. What happened?... She couldn't quite comprehend. Her small grey body was shaking slightly as she hide in the moss in the nursery. "Snowkit? Smallkit?" She called quietly and then she remembered that Smallkit was deaf so she called louder for Snowkit. "Snowkit?!"

    No reply.

    ooc: Ok let's go!

ic: In a fast blurr of anger and violence he lunged forward at the first pup he saw. His vision could only make out a blurr of soft fur and crimson blood as he bit down on the back of the pups neck. It was over quick and the pup dropped dead from his jaws. Though a female pup remained. He panted heavily as he realised what he had done. I killed one of the pups... He wasn't sure what to feel. He was frustrated and sad. His anger had been suddenly replaced with lost feeling. He stared emptily down at Kino's dead body. He was so young and innocent. However the mother had fled for safety and there was one pup left. There wasn't much blood apart from a bold wound on the pup's corpse.

    ooc: Happy late birthday! ~

ic: Cespar whined quietly to himself. He looked down at the ground and carefully helped Kipcha carry the corpse away to be buried. He had no thoughts, yet, he had many thoughts at the same time. The adrenaline that he had felt not so long ago had died in his veins with the cold feeling that all he had just been through gave him.

Lupita hid away from the pack in the forest. Alone she was less dangerous and threatening.

Warren shook his head. He couldn't believe he had just killed a pup. But there was one left and she had no mother. She would eventually die if she were left here. He nuzzled Aelea. He could sense that the others wanted to keep this one. He licked his lips ridding his muzzle of any traces of blood. As he swallowed, bile rose to his throat but he swallowed that down as well. It didn't taste nice nor did it feel nice to kill a innocent pup. He was certain that if there were any other pups in the litter that they had been taken to safety by their mother.

Cespar stood in silence. He felt like he had no energy left to howl. Yet slowly but surely he tilted his head upwards to the night sky and howled with sorrow.

Lupita heard the mournful howls and flicked an ear in response. She continued to walk through the territory, minding herself and no one else.

Warren flicked an ear in a slightly surprised reaction. He felt as if he couldn't protest against Aelea keeping the female pup. Though he kept his ears pricked for any signs of Shadow or Shade returning for the pups they had left. He winced on the inside as it turned out the female pup had forgotten what he had done to her brother. He still didn't feel any better about killing the male pup in his rage. I'm sorry... He thought in his mind and he bent his head down to nuzzle the pup and let it play with his ears.

Kayla wondered where Warren was. She walked around the peaceful camp looking for Aelea. The cold winds picked up and carried a scent towards the Healer that was simple horrific. Her innocent blue eyes widened in shock. She whipped around and raced out of camp. She hoped Warren hadn't actually killed the pups of Shade and Shadow. He couldn't of really?... She hoped he really wouldn't of. Her desperate thoughts distracted her from the world.

    History-
She used to be a rogue, running free with her brother. It was a fun life. However her brother fell for the crystal blue eyes of a pretty kittypet and soon became mates with her. Silvercloud was formerly called Silver and was very close to her brother since her parents died. She couldn't believe her own littermate was spending so much time with a kittypet. She dreaded the day that he would go and live with her or possibly have kits with this two-leg pet. She tried to stay with her brother as much as she could but she knew they were slowly drifting apart. Eventually she heard the news she was dreading. He was finally going to live with his kittypet mate because she was soon due to have his kits. She pretended she was happy for him and wished him well in his new life. She knew it was time to find herself a life and a new home with a new adventure. So she went and found AshClan.

    Other- :D

Warren stood up tall after Fern left him to sit somewhere else. He felt his pelt heat up as he sensed that Aelea wanted him to also be a parent to the female pup. Could I really raise her knowing I had intentions to kill her because of her true parents?...He wasn't sure it would work and he felt a lingering feeling of guilt that he was eager to make disappear. Suddenly he heard the bushes move and opened his jaws instantly to scent his Healer, Kayla.

Kayla leapt elegantly through the bushes. She saw the dead pup and stepped back in shock her legs trembling. "Warren!" She exclaimed with tears in her eyes.

    ooc: yes we know ;D

ic: Cespar turned and looked at Kipcha as he stopped howling. "Do you think Warren, Alpha of the Mountain Pack has killed any of Shadow's pups yet? Surely they can't of got away from two packs." He spoke sadly with a downcast, light tone to his usually strong masculine voice.

Warren lifted his tail dominantly. He stepped forward to interrupt Kayla's thoughts and settle things with her first in order to not allow any more chaos. He felt honoured by Kate's request for him to be a father and it was true he needed to take on that role sooner or later in order for his pack to continue. "Kayla. You remember my words. This was an accident. I shouldn't have done it. However I can't change what has just happened and we still have one puppy left." He explained it short and sharp with a huffing tone as if he were tired.
Kayla's eyes dilated and then widened again as she saw the hungry female pup. She was so young and innocent in the eyes of the Healer. She darted forward a blur of white in any wolf's vision. She checked the pup over visually for any signs of poor health. "She's just hungry." She concluded with a happier tone and a spark in her blue eyes. She sat by the pup almost defensively but she was surely relaxed.
Warren looked at Aelea. This was different than his last mate. He had a strong passion for Aelea that he had been unable to develop a relationship around since he had been busy being Alpha for the past few moons that Aelea had since joined the pack. He wished he could change so much in the past. His former mate going missing, the storm that caused a deadly floor in the territory, the betrayal of Shade and now the death of an innocent pup. He flicked an ear in misery that would of gone without notice to anyone else as he had never spoken of his past to anyone as most members of his pack were young and wouldn't know of his first mate. He sighed heavily and deeply. He could feel the breath transport his depression away to better days and happiness.
He looked at everyone around him.
"Aelea I need to talk to you." He glanced at Kayla and then Fern to hint that they stay where they were and the Healer should look after the pup.

Cespar flicked an ear and nuzzled Kipcha back affectionately. He followed her lead but was surely close behind like an eager pup following an adult out of camp for the first time.

Lupita heard something. An animal in pain? A wolf in pain? Her snow white ears pricked up. She raced smoothly towards the sound. The crazy lone wolf was much to excited to find what she then sighted, not too far away from her. Helpless. Her yellow eyes glistened insanely. She was a little bit.
She licked her lips maliciously. No normal wolf craved like she did for another one's pain and blood. She wasn't even skilled. Just a killer.
No wonder she spent so much time away from the pack despite being a full member. However being a full member does not require respect.

Moonglaze a blind warrior heard the news. A kit was travelling to StarClan. She sighed and got up on her limbs. Her eyes shone like stars, white and blank from where she had been born blind by a genetic fault. She was very respected when she had been alive and even now will apprentices bow to her if they are unfortunate enough to be among the ranks of StarClan. She was also a pure white she-cat with a fair muscular built and a kind but stubborn attitude. She was wise like an elder yet she had died as a warrior, but not a young one at that. She began to collect her strides in time to her heart beat. Skimming the forest floor was her favourite feeling. She slowed down when she got to the location that all new StarClanners begin at. Misery and pain swarmed her heart and ate it out while she waited. It was just her so far, and for a second she though she had come to the wrong place. Then she saw the kit. She padded forward. "Welcome. This is StarClan." She meowed simply.

Silvercloud flicked her tail. She padded over. "What's this about a patrol?" She asked politely. She blinked at Hailpaw as he made his strong remark. Yet she remembered how her brother had been a brave, willing young cat. Back when she would race through the forest with him...

She snapped out of her memories to await an answer. Her tail arched in a beautiful structure and her eyes were pleasant to gaze into, though they were not as deep as one would hope. They were just disks of light green.

Warren stopped at a distance where he could hear Kate or Kayla call out if they need something but at a distance where he and Aelea were out of earshot. He looked over his shoulder at the beautiful she-wolf, Aelea. Then he turned around and sat down. His tail swept over the forest floor, disturbing dead fallen leaves. The winter had not yet frosted over the ground or brought snow or any type of poverty to the pack. However to a new and extremely young pup the winter could be harsh.

"Aelea." He sighed and looked into her eyes. He stood up as if he were trying to reach towards her but at the same time he was restless. This was unlike him.
"I, as do you, want to keep this pup." He began seriously.
"But," He glanced away and broke his gaze from her's.
"The pup can only be in the pack if it is one of the Alpha's own offspring." He paused but then continued abruptly.
"It might be quick to say this but..." He looked back at Aelea. His eyes showing pure passion.

"Would you be my Alpha Female?"
