Well put, thought Earthquake as she nodded her head to Magazines. The tom definitely understood the tribes customs and religions to a T. The red tabby herself had seen Nefarious and Temple's engagement but as the tom had done a reasonable job of explaining that too, said nothing. As for the Order of Cunsun explanation...Well, the large she-cat was Order of Cunsun, Thunderstorm Baroness, Third class herself.
"I'm ready to go if everyone else is" answered Earthquake with a flick of her tail in reply to Magazines.
-
Sunray nodded to his leader but was internally amused at being called a she-cat. The short legged tom was definitely not the bravest of the bunch in the Federation but still...Was he really that much akin to a girl? Oh well...shrugging it off, the tom waited for a sign to head off.
Glancing again over the scraggly group of cats, the cinnamon tom absent mindedly ran his tongue over the top of his left shoulder. This action reminded him that he was covered in mud like the rest of his group. Taking the moments before they headed off to clean, Sunray uncovered his short, soft, bright cinnamon coat to the group of Hitchhikers. His symbol as a fighter of the Federation showed cleanly against his pelt as the burn had remained a deep black even with age. It was an intricate image of a sun that spread across the whole of the top of his left shoulder. It marked him as one of the Federation's own...much like Isaura.

Okay! Can't wait to see who wins! :)
Ps. if you need any help counting, I would be happy to help

Padding up better late than never, Earthquake flicked her tail in welcome to the old tom and fell into step with the little group of cats as they headed to camp. The red tabby was carrying a small black bird as she had been out hunting and didn't have a way to introduce herself. Oh well, she was sure she would see the tom around anyway.
-
Anyone want a thread with Earthquake? :)
-
Sunray fell into step behind the group of Hitchhikers and waited patiently for them to follow after Isaura. Hopefully this would not take too long since he was interested in meeting the cats once they were all settled inside the caverns.
Gold eyes sweeping across the group, he tried to determine how many would need to see the healers. Would Carmen have a large group to lead by herself? Looked like it, he thought as he spotted that several of these new cats were sporting injuries.

Having heard noise from within a cabin that Earthquake knew to be uninhabited, the red tabby had ventured cautiously inside. Spotting Karelia with what looked to be some type of gloves on, the large she-cat moved more confidently into the room.
"Hi Karelia, what's going on?" meowed Earthquake as she looked around. Almost immediately, her deep blue eyes were drawn to a deep sapphire colored scarf that seemed to be made from a soft cottony material. Moving towards it, the red tabby ran a paw admiringly over the accessory. Did it belong to the Doctor?
-
Grinning in response to the gray Doctor's offer to take anything she liked, Earthquake quickly scooped up the sapphire scarf and wrapped it around her neck. Happily trotting over to the doctor, she admired both her own scarf and the doctor's gloves.
"Those look great on you!" purred Earthquake sincerely to Karelia. The bright colors looked good next to the she-cat's light gray pelt. Turning at the knock on the door, the red tabby gestured with her tail for Balticstorm to come in.
"I'm sure we could find something" the large she-cat said smiling to the tom.
-
@Ecru-I'd love to do one with Pawn! Could you make it though? :)
@Baltic-A thread with Earthquake? She isn't currently looking for a mate though...She had a thing for Jester before he disappeared
-
Alright! You want to make it or shall I?
-
"Cool" meowed Earthquake as she looked at the tom's choice, an oranges rabbit foot. That was interesting and the tom seemed to enjoy its color. She was simply happy that her new tribemate was so active and easy to get along with.
-
Sure! Should be up in a couple minutes, I'll invite you when it is done.

The wind blew through the trees and ruffled the fur of the red tabby who stood silently outside the Stromtribe's camp. Her thoughts were far away from the tribe tonight as she wondered...wondered about where she would be right now had she never joined. Would she still be out there in this cold unforgiving climate? Trekking silently outside any groups without friends or family? Some how she was pretty sure she would be.
Deep blue eyes scanned the territory of her home, where she had found acceptance and friends. Loved ones like her adopted daughter and close friends. Sighing, she closed her eyes and listened. Hearing footsteps, the large she-cat swiveled her ears towards the noise but did not stop observing the land in front of her.
"Who is it?" murmured Earthquake softly as she gazed into the night.
-
Earthquake had been a far distance outside the camp hunting when she heard the desperate calling. Having been to far away to hear what the voice was saying but knowing it must be a tribemate, the red tabby had turned from where she was stalking a vole to sprint towards the voice. As the large she-cat rapidly grew closer, she recognized her name and forced herself to run faster. What if it was urgent? Streaking through the undergrowth at breakneck speeds, she quickly arrived at where Pawn sat.
"Wh-What's wrong" panted Earthquake extremely worried for the tom. Had something happened? Was he hurt? More paranormal stuff? Could she even help? And why, Why had the tom called for her specifically?
-
"I'm thinking about where I would be if I had never encountered and dared to join the tribe" murmured the red tabby softly. Her deep blue eyes stayed fixed onto the scenery but she was not seeing the snow covered forest or the far away mountains, no her eyes were fixed internally on a view only she could see.
Flicking her tail softly over the ground, the large she-cat forced herself from her thoughts and turned to give the tom a genuine, if small, smile. How alone he must feel in the tribe that she imagined was very different from the one he had known.
"How are you doing? Are you getting along with everyone?" asked Earthquake softly. She was worried that the tom felt like an outsider and wanted to reassure him that he was valued in the tribe.
-
Earthquake and Mary? They haven't talked lately :)
-
Sunray had been assigned to the back of the group by Isaura and so as they reached the caverns, he settled to wait beside Carmine. Soft cinnamon pelt fluffed out against the chilly wind, the tom's eyes followed the groups progress into the caves. They appeared unsure of the dark and while he couldn't really understand their fears, he had after all, been born here.
"Just keep close to Isaura" encouraged the short legged tom to the new cats as they filled into the dark. His own large gold eyes could easily pick out his leader waiting for the group in the shadows of the cave.
-
"I imagine it would" nodded Earthquake in understanding. Her deep blue eyes were happy that the tom was so open to change. They had just lost Lady because she had not felt wanted or appreciated in the tribe. Lady had been stuck on the past of the tribe. On cats that had been gone for moons. Still, Earthquake could kind of understand and while she missed her tribemate, she understood Lady's choices.
"Is it very different now? How was the tribe back when you were first a member?" questioned the red tabby in a whisper. It seemed a waste to disturb this beautiful, silent winter night.
-
"I know a little about Juniper Berries" answered Earthquake, "Aren't they used for stomach aches? Also, Coltsfoot, which is also used for infections, right?".
That was about all the red tabby knew and even then she wasn't totally confident in her answers. Half of them were probably wrong! Oh well, the large she-cat believed that you had to guess sometimes in order to learn something new.
-
A panic attack. Joy. Sunray was not an impatient cat but really, it was obvious that the she-cat could not stay out here in this cold. After all, the short legged tom had nearly froze to death when he was snowed out of the caves earlier in the week.
"We cannot let you stay out here. You must trust us. Just a few minutes into the caverns there is a main cavern that has light. Please, trust us and follow Isaura inside" meowed the cinnamon tom earnestly.
