Jay snarled and started to slip when she reached to hit the eel.She fell into the water and resurfaced a moment later with the eel dangling from her jaws limp.

Gingerfern look cross eyed at a petal on her nose and sneezed,spreading petals everywhere and asks:"Do you smell that?It almost smells like....."She smells the air and growls out loudly:"Go away Hawk!This is MY life now!"

Gingerfern hissed:"That's the same hawk that took my brother.I can tell because it has a gunshot wound that's healed on its wing."Gingerfern started to see flashbacks of she playing with her brother and suddenly a hawk swooping down and snatching her brother from right in front of her.

Gingerfern was frozen to the spot.She was still swimming through sick flashbacks,Her mother's death,father's abuse,brother's death,and her sister's death as well.Her eyes were glazed in fright and sickness as she slowly pulled herself out of it.
