[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 315px; height: auto; margin-top: -15px;][hr][justify][sub][color=#d2d2d2]//Remember that fanfiction I was writing, Niall? Well, since you've waited ever so patiently for the ending, I have decided to give it to you in the form of a forum thread. I hope this makes you cry. I mean, I've worked very hard on this and it took me quite a while to make it, so you better wipe a couple of tears from your eyes.
For those who are not Niall, I have been working on a fanfiction for her. Of course, this includes Nico but it also includes characters from the Percy Jackson series such as Reyna and Coach Hedge. No, you do not need to know them fully to read this. If you want to write your character's reaction to this, then please note that the event below was videotaped by a security camera and happened at least an hour ago. Please write your character's reaction to watching the tape just so everyone would get hit in the feels. Think of it as a writing exercise.

[sub][color=#d2d2d2]Reyna was barely holding onto that last thread of hope - that last thread that would bring her back into reality and convince her that there was indeed something to live for. She had gone so far. It would be a shame to watch all of that go to waste, almost as if her life was worth nothing. Her achievements were now flecks of dust, already on the verge of being flicked away and fading until no one remembered them at all. The thought made her stomach churn and Reyna had to force herself to not be sick all over her shoes as she stared at what was ahead. It was a matter of life or death at this moment; Reyna could count all of the moments in her life where she thought that, but none of them compared to how this made her feel.
Coach Hedge, being the violence-ridden satyr, waved his baseball bat around aimlessly, his hooves clopping against the ground in impatience. "COME ON, SLOWPOKES, LET'S KICK SOME MONSTER BUTT!" He shouted, letting out a battle cry and almost running straight into the crowd of monsters and giants. If it wasn't for Nico pulling him backwards by the harness that was around all of their waists, the Coach would have gotten himself killed at this point, blew their cover, and basically gotten everyone killed.
Nico's brown eyes flashed dangerously with warning as he pulled the angry satyr back into place. "You nearly blew our cover. Then the monsters would be kicking our butts." He stated, not bothering to listen to Coach Hedge's angry curses. He was used to the Coach cursing at him. He often did it when Reyna and Nico held him back from getting himself killed one way or another.
Luckily they were hidden in a nearby coffee shop in an airport. The airport was empty of mortals and was ridden with monsters of all types. The Coach, Reyna, and Nico had been sent here to help get rid of the population and help the airport get back into business.Despite the fact that it was mostly dark, a couple of lights were on, white-washing the airport. The security camera twisted vision every now and then - right now, one security camera was focused on the trio as they sat behind a counter, each of them basically messes. Nico had bandages made from white cloth all over his arms from a shadow-travel accident, Reyna's clothes were torn, and clumps of fur was missed from Coach Hedge's body. They looked like they had been through a war, basically.
Reyna took that chance to discuss the plan before they put it into action, "Alright, we start with distractions. Coach Hedge and I will create the distractions while you, Nico, go to the Cafe Area and secure the explosives. After that, you shadow-travel to us and get all of us out of here before the whole area explodes. It wouldn't explode the airport, so it basically blows up all lifeforms. If we stay a second more than needed...let's just say that our names would be written in stone. Permanently." Reyna shuddered at the thought then continued. "If any part of this goes wrong, we'll just alert each other using our harnesses. If our harnesses break off, then we'll have to use the signal. Now let's just get this over with."
The three of them nodded and then got to work. Reyna stayed with Coach Hedge on the second-floor while Nico shadow-traveled to the first level of the airport, appearing in the middle of the whole floor. The harness was squeezing him since they were so far away but it was very long, so it wasn't killing or suffocating him. Wow, it looked quite empty without everyone here. The son of Hades pushed away the feeling as he immediately got to work, pulling the explosives out of his pocket and setting them up in the middle of the floor. It would have the most effect on the floor instead of the wall. It was common knowledge of explosives and bombs. In the distance, he heard a huge roar echo across the airport and knew that Reyna and the Coach had gotten the attention of the monsters. Thank goodness. Their plan was already halfway executed.
Finally, after about two minutes, Nico had managed to get everything set up. Alright, now came the hard part. He had to set the time. The maximum installed in the explosive was actually one minute. He had one minute to find both Reyna and Hedge and get them out of there. So, without further hesitation, the ebony-haired fourteen-year-old set the time and instantly shadow-traveled to the second-floor. As soon as he appeared there, he was caught up in the chaos. Monsters were literally everywhere; what was worse was that they were fighting themselves and not looking for Reyna and Hedge as they should have been. Oh, this was bad. Nico had to find them fast. He already heard the timer beeping as each second was wasted.
Reyna was currently on the escalator that led to the first floor, dodging as a monster flew over her head and attached another one. Where was Nico? Where was Hedge as well? Reyna had lost him in the chaos and not her harness only had one weight pulling on it. That meant that someone was disconnected. She already heard the timer beep in response and it made her feel like she was going to throw up. They had to get out of here. The dark-haired teenager climbed up the stairs of the not-working escalator, her eyes scanning the chaotic scene. Come on, she was a Roman! She had to think of something! Yet nothing came to mind...until she finally found him.
"Nico!" She shouted above the noise, breathing in relief as soon as she saw him turn at the sound of her voice and spot her. Then, dodging all the monsters that were in their way, they ran until they were mere inches from each other, relief sparking in both of their eyes. Even though they felt no attraction to each other, they liked to think of their relationship almost like one siblings had. But the relief faded to dread as the two of them realized who was still missing. "Where's Coach?" Reyna croaked, her eyes pleading as she hoped that he wasn't...dead.
Nico just looked as lost as she was. "I thought he was with you!" He managed to say, his copper eyes darting around the crowd. The Coach was nowhere to be found. How hard was it to lose a satyr with a baseball bat and a thirst for blood? The two demigods stood dumbfounded, unsure of what to do now that a teammate had gone missing in action. They had to get out of here but they couldn't risk it if the Coach was still alive. They couldn't just pack up their bags and leave him. But if he was dead...he would have wanted them to leave as fast as possible, right?
Finally, Reyna heard a familiar voice shout: "THERE'S NO WAY OUT!" The news wasn't good but the voice was. Without thinking, Reyna stumbled away from Nico and embraced the Coach, who looked quite confused at the gesture. They were in a war and they were hugging. How nice. The satyr tried to wriggle out of Reyna's grasp as he waved his arms in a panic, eyes bulging out, "THERE'S NO WAY OUT! THE MONSTERS BLOCKED THE EXITS! GET US OUT OF HERE, DEATH-BOY!"
Nico didn't appreciate the nickname but he didn't dwell on it. Without wasting any time, he grabbed the two of their arms, hearing the timer hit the thirty-second mark as he did so. They had thirty seconds to get out of here alive. If not, then tough luck. Nico focused on shadow-traveling this time, blocking out any other noises as he tried to at least shadow-travel them out of the airport. Then they would at least have some time to run. The shadows ran up their bodies but they didn't go any further than their waists. Nico tried harder but they just wouldn't listen and ended up...dying out.
Nico felt his heart skip a beat. No, this couldn't be happening. Please, no! His breathing quickened but no matter what he did, he couldn't do it. Reyna must have noticed but she remained stoic for some reason, as if she was expecting it. Coach Hedge was staring at him open-mouthed, as if wondering what the hell Nico was doing and when he was going to get on with it. Tears stung Nico's eyes but he managed not to cry from desperation. They had to get out, right? They couldn't...die.
The three stood in silence as the realization dawned upon them.
They weren't getting out.

The image of the tape flickered once before turning into static.
//Yeah. I cried while writing this. They are NOT dead, though. I have something planned for them.
If you want to reply to this for fun (a.k.a. your character would be watching the tape and they would see everything that went on), then go ahead. Make it sad. Make everyone cry.
Hope you like it, Niall!
