With a chuckle of amusement, Alice exploded out of the pile, sending cake severe flying everywhere. "Thanks. I know," she bragged, before scooping up a huge chunk of cake and icing at Daryll, and while she was at it, a chunk at sunset as well.

The two's consciousnesses touched for a brief second, just long enough for Alice to be able to hear Lacie utter with malice, "You'll regret this, Alice. I will get my own body."
And then all was back to normal....
Well, sort of. As Alice's mind returned to its rightful spot up front, a sort of switch flicked off in the back of her brain, and then everything was blank.
Staring blankly ahead, not comprehending who it was in front of her, Alice blinked rapidly as her eyes adjusted. Her memory was blank. "Where am I?" She demanded, though not as hotly as she would have if she remembered anything about her life.

She got the movement down quickly, but she had a bit of trouble at first putting the power to her strikes. Alice struggled to dredge up a memory of the so called Lacie, but she couldn't. "I don't remember anything about a Lacie," she eventually stated. "But will I get my memory back soon?" She didn't like not remembering anything about herself.
