    Name: Dawnheart

    Gender: She-cat

    Age: 12 moons

    Clan: Riverclan

    Position: Warrior

Description: Dawnheart is a very slim and slender she-cat, which is usual for Riverclan cats. Her long fur is completely black, helping her blend in during the night. In a battle, an enemy cat brought his claw down upon her face, giving her a long scar down the side of her face. Toms are very captivated by her pretty features. Vivid green eyes add to her beauty and give off a stern, penetrating gaze.

Personality: Fiesty she-cat who is a very good fighter and whos heart is very tough to win. She is gentle but stern. She will risk her life for her clan. She likes hunting and fighting. She is smart and wise, even though she is a young warrior. Dawnheart has a soft spot for new-borns. She is very cautious. She dislikes the toms who swoon over her and try to win her heart. She hates the guts of all Shadowclan cats.

History: Dawnheart was born into the world with only her mother. Her father had died protecting her mother from invading Shadow clan warriors while she was pregnant. Her mother had luckily escaped and gave birth to her a few days later. When she was just a playful kit, her mother died of a terrible sickness. She soon became a apprentice and vowed to avenge her father. After her apprenticeship, she became a warrior and fell in love with a handsome tom. On patrol, she and him encountered invading Shadowclan cats. Her anger rose up and she attacked. Unfortunately, they were outnumbered. The tom was killed in the battle while protecting her. With this new death, her anger increased. She attacked with new ferocity and killed one. The others escaped. Wearily, she treaded back to camp with his body. This is why she is very cautious and doesn't like being very social for fear of losing someone if she became close to them.

RP Example: She snarled at the invading Shadowclan cats. She flexed her muscle and prepared to jump. She leapt and landed on the enemy's back. He let out a screech and scrambled to get her off, but she clung on and dug her claws in so hard, the cat yelped in pain. She jumped off and faced the other cat. Next to her, she could hear her patrol fighting furiously. She cursed the apprentice she had sent for back-up for being so slow. She sent her claws flying at the Shadowclan cat. "For my father and my love." she thought. With this thought, renewed energy surged through her bones and she drove off the enemy with furious slashes.

my cat, Dawnheart, will gladly take her, Dawnheart is gentle but stern and would make a good mentor, she has a sad history and is wise beyond her age, does she seem fit to mentor Moonkit?

Dawnheart took a final bite of a squirrel and then looked around for Moonpaw. Getting up, she stretched her muscles then padded over to the apprentice's den. "Moonpaw, hurry up. I want to leave before the sunhigh patrol does."

Dawnheart padded out of the warrior's den and arched her back. She saw Moonkit sitting outside the nursery with a dejected face. She padded over and asked her, "What's wrong, Moonkit?"

"Almost!" she replied. She came to a complete halt. Moonpaw collided into her back. "Here we are!" she exclaimed. Before them lay Riverside Rocks, the place where apprentices trained. She watched as Moonpaw bounded foward, recovered from her collision.

Dawnheart leapt up, not expecting such a complicated attack. She whipped her tail out of Moonpaw's grasp, then reared up on her hindlegs. She pinned the squirming apprentice to the ground. "That was good!" She released her grip and let Moonpaw scramble to her paws. "Where did you learn that? That was great for your first day. I'm impressed."

Dawnheart padded out of the warrior's den. She sighed, recalling the fateful day during greenleaf a year ago. She remembered the love in her Cracklefire's eyes as he looked at her the last time. They had been on patrol, like any other day. Young and careless. They had reached Fourtrees when 4 Shadowclan cats jumped out at them. They were outnumbered 4 to 2. Her eyes watered as she remembered him tackling the cat that was about to kill her. He killed that cat but two more cats piled on his back. She ran to help her but another enemy had grabbed her tail. She turned around with a ferocious snarl and drove that cat off with furious slashes at his face. She whipped around and headed toward Cracklefire, but it was too late. She saw one of the remaining Shadowclan cats pin him down, and the other delivered the killing bite. She let out a despairing yelp and dashed forward. She landed on one of the enemy's backs and delivered furious gashes down his back. He retreated yowling with pain. She faced the last one. He eyed her warily. Dawnheart growled, and the Shadowclan tom, seeing the hate and sadness swirling in her eyes, ran back towards his own territory. She dropped her agressive state and rushed over to Cracklefire. He was struggling for breath, and blood rushed from the bite. "Stay right there," she said, thinking there was still hope. "Everything will be alright. I'm going to get a medicine cat, and your wound will be fixed right up." She gave a weak smile. He managed to get out, "No... It's... too... late...good...bye...Dawn...heart...I...love..you..." He gave one last shuttering breath and then his body fell limp as he entered the ranks of Starclan. "May Starclan welcome you like the greatest of warriors," she murmured under her breath. "I love you, too." She let out a low mournful yowl. She bowed her head and let all her misery out. And she still loved him, to this day. She hated the guts of all Shadowclan cats, for killing Cracklefire and her father. Her mother had also died, for a ravaging sickness had destroyed her body. Dawnheart was now all alone. The only thing close to her now was Moonpaw, her first apprentice she had just recently gotten. She got up and padded across the clearing to the freshkill pile, ignoring the stares of toms as they gazed at her beauty.
She chose a plump fish and bit down. She savored the juicy taste and chewed. Moonpaw padded up to her, bouncing with excitement.

Dawnheart was out alone hunting. She had heard some commotion and headed towards the river. Her fur stood up straight. "Shadowclan." she thought. She felt a snarl rise up inside of her. Judging that there were about four, she crept out and looked out. Four apprentices stood by the river. Dawnheart growled and crept so that she stood between them and their territory. Coming out of her cover, she startled the apprentices. "Now, what might four Shadowclan apprentices be doing on Riverclan territory?" she asked with menace. She eyed the fish and mewed, "Hunting! Just what a Shadowclan cat would do. You're coming back to camp with me." She glared at the fidgeting apprentices, hating their clan for what they did to her. She herded the aprrentices into a group with unsheathed claws, frightening them to do her will.

Dawnheart grumpily got out of her nest, awakened by the noise. "What now?" she asked herself. She saw Hawkfur, Teardrop, Summerblaze, and Leafsparrow talking. She sighed, annoyed at the fact that they didn't think to move their conversation into the clearing. "What are you guys talking about?" she asked eyeing them.

Dawnheart nodded to Shimmerfur and Sparklepelt, glad that they had arrived. They headed toward the camp, the frightened apprentices between them. Dawnheart started explaining what had happened and how she had found them fishing.

Dawnheart narrowed her eyes, thinking. "No apprentice, invading or not, should drown to death." She jumped in to the water and paddled forward. She clenched her jaws around Ratpaw's scruff and dragged him back to shore. She dropped the soaked kit on the ground. "Besides, our leader and his needs to know about this and give him a proper punishment, even though I hate Shadowclan."

Dawnheart nodded. "That was resourceful. So thats why you must rely on your strengths in battle. Most of the time, you will be fighting against bigger, heavier, and stronger warriors. TO defeat them, you will have to use your speed and resourcefulness to its max. But, even the strongest warrior can be defeated by the quickest."
