It was a normal day, a bit chilly, but fine. Actually, it was no normal day for Bubbles. Bubbles was afraid and alone. she rested in a cramped tree-hollow, tears drifting from her face. Slowly, she twisted out, and sighed. She had been out for days. Starving. Luckily if she was lucky, she caught a few things. But today wasn't another hunting session; she focused her blue optics on something else. The river. Without another word, she jumped in.

Earlier today she wasn't so desperate. Nope, early today she was so happy! Today was bubbles' second birthday! unfortunately, it was also her trip to her vet. Oddly, she was pregnant. Her owners felt a little hot in the veterinarian's office, and even more distant at home. Bubbles didn't know she was, or why her humans were acting up. Later at her party, she knew why. It wasn't a party. She was being put to sleep. Bubbles knew that quickly. And of course, she jumped, ran, and escaped to the forest.

and THEN she found out she was pregnant. Not the best time. Actually, that wasn't today. About a month ago, really. And she was about three months pregnant back then, so now she had more of a reason to suicide.

She made it back to the surface, but on the other side. She kind of hated herself for it, and without a collar and no scent, she blended in as a rogue. If she could make up a story, maybe she would be able to give her kits a little home, and her a place to rest. she of course probably wouldn't stay. So, she was about 25 or 26 moons old now, and about to have her first litter. That thought made Bubbles hurt. literally. She was kitting. Luckily it went by quick and there was only one tom-kit, soullesskit. She wrapped him in her jaws, then bravely approached the clan with a worried limp.

"Excuse me? Riverclan?" She called bravely. Bubbles' life was about to change. For good.
