The hit had been a success, but didn't knock him out. It caused him fatigue though as he felt the wind knocked out of him. As he squirmed out of the cheetahs grasp from weight, he tried to catch his breath again. Leaping into the air, he aimed to land on her back, and score his claws down her spine.

He allowed a stray whisper to hiss in his ear. When he opened his orbs back up, they were a dark brown, but blazing with a dull fury. "Ready." He growled, and began circling Cassiep.

"Okay… Um, go away. Seriously, I'm not kidding." Russetcloud could take this guy down. He'd protected his mate Violeteyes from things from cheetahs, to jaguars, to lions, to bears. Even a rhino. Most of them resided in BloodClan at the moment, but a fellow.feline would be nothing.
