I pulled the pillow over my head as the familiar sound of my alarm clock filled my ears "shut up" I moaned switching it off with my free hand as the other held the pillow over my face. I pulled myself out of bed rubbing the sleep out of my eyes as I stumbled drowsily into the bathroom, after around half an hour I imerged in jeans and a casual shirt my hair still unbrushed.

"Just a minute!" I called downstairs in answer to my brothers voice as I hurriedly pulled on a pair of jeans. I paused my arm half way inside her shirt and checked my watch 6:55 it read, school began at seven, now I realised why Hunter was in such a rush "coming" I yelled again as I raced down the stairs grabbing my phone and stuffing a slice of toast into my mouth, Hunter must have already been in the car because I could hear the engine running as I ran out of the door and practically lept into the car "with 2 minutes to spare!" I said grinning and leaning back in my seat out of breath, reality soon hit me as the car starting to move forward, it was the first day of high school for me and my brother, I was in such a panic she had forgotten how much she had been dreading this day, while I sat there practically shaking with nerves Hunter's eyes stayed glued to the road, he had a slight smile on his face and I knew why. He had told me why many times, he said he was planning on making my life a living hell at this school, now I remember why I was dreading this day.."I should've stayed in bed.." I muttered under my breath as I slumped further down in my seat.

I tapped my foot in annoyance as my sister continued to make us later and later. I gave up on calling her and made my way to the car, I sat for a moment or two contemplating leaving without her when she ran through the door a slice of half eaten toast in her mouth, I rolled my eyes as she lept inside. As I began to drive I could see her in the side mirror, her eyes were wide and I could see how nervous she was. Good I wanted her to be terrified, that was how it was supposed to be. While it would be her first day at this school I had started here last year and already knew a few people and had friends, although even if she had come last year I highly doubted she would have made any friends, I snapped back to reality as we pulled up at the school "you exited?" I asked sarcastically grinning at her "well, your positively shaking with exitement." I stated laughing to myself, I knew she was afraid of me although she would never admit it, she always tried to stand up to me but I knew how much of a coward she really was better than anyone else.

I stepped out of the car and ran a hand nervously through my hair, I walked with my head down only looking up to walk up the few steps up to the schools doorway, my cheeks flushed pink with nerves as I past Hunter, he was already talking to a group of girls, typical I rolled my eyes.

I got out of the car my eyes narrowing as I watched Danny "i'll see you later" I told her bitterly as I made my way up the pathway to the school building I winked as I walked past Anastasia and joined the group of girls surrounding Alice "Hey ladies." I said smiling at them, it was so easy, I was about the hottest guy at this school and I could get any girl I wanted exept maybe her I glanced at Anastasia she didn't swoon over me as much as all of the others. I grinned as I saw Danny approaching "watch this" I whispered raising my eyebrows at Alice as I casually stuck my foot out infront of my sister. As she fell I burst out laughing "you okay down there?" I asked with fake sympathy "not making a great first impression are ya sis?" I told her sarcastically still laughing.

I bit my tongue to stop me from saying anything "thanks." I said through gritted teeth and glanced at Alice, so she was the one who's foot had been jabbing me in the side I gave her a distainful look "So hunter.." I began looking calmly at my brother "hanging out with girls now?" I asked my eyes cold "you know I always had a feeling he was.." I paused and whispered to Alice "well y'know" my eyes darted around the group, atleast I had some dignity, some.

I shot an angry glance at Anastasia but wrapped my arms around Cosette, I listened to Danny silently before turning to the group of girls before me one arm still around Cosettes waist "sorry about my little sister." I told them putting enphasis on the word little, because I knew how much she hated the fact that she was quite short for her age "oh and just for that.." I began leaning in close to Danny's face so only she could hear me "you're going to wish you never stepped foot into this school." I hissed anger boiling up inside of me.

I stared at Anastasia for a moment or so before speaking "you've got guts" I told her "I like it..." I winked before shoving past Danny and walking into class taking a seat at the back.

I lent back in my chair and let my head fall back so I was looking at anastasia, she was upside down but I was looking at her "couldn't stay away for more than a second huh?" I asked raising my eyebrows at her so that they disappeared behind my fringe, which was now flopping over into my eyes.

A shiver ran down my spine as Hunter spoke and I managed to nod, I grabbed my books and practically ran into class, why did i even say that, I should have known he would have been mad and now life at school was going to be even worse than I had expected. I sat down beside the window and slumped down in my chair, perfect time for a trap door.

I shrugged at her response "maybe later." I told her straightening up and letting my fringe fall back into place, I put my arm around Cosette "this could be you" I mouthed the words to Anastasia and kissed Cosette gently on the cheek.

I looked up at the sound of Macons voice and watched the girl run off, what was so frightening about him? He didn't look that bad, oops I may have been staring at him for to long. I diverted my gaze to the surface of my desk praying that he hadn't noticed me looking at him.

I grinned "your blonde aren't you?" I inquired as I turned my attention back to the board, the teacher was writing something, that to me looked like another language so I started to daydream staring around the class.

I spun around startled for a moment but relaxed slightly when I saw Macon "oh, its you" I muttered as I turned back around so he couldn't see the deep shade of pink that was spreading across my cheeks. Dont let him see you, I told myself covering my face with my hands.

My cheeks were now bright red as I moved away from his lips "checking you out, me?" I asked raising my eyebrows doing my best not to show my embarrassment "never" I said sarcastically "and if you don't mind" I added delicately moving his hand away forcing myself not to smile, but he really was pretty cute.

I rolled my eyes "I strongly doubt that." I teased as I turned back to the front shifting my chair forward so that he hopefully couldn't reach, I especially didn't like his hand near my waist i wa extremely tickilish and it wouldn't be a great empression if I had burst out laughing during the lesson.

I giggled "in your dreams" I said a shiver running down my spine as he tickled my neck, I did like him but I knew what he was like.
