14 "hey, willowkit. you can stay with us"she meowed. "that is, if you're not gonna kill us! only nice cats are welcome!"she teased.

15"thanks"she meowed,"but i need to stay here to fight these rouges and save good cats. but we can totally use it to escape if we need to. are you staying or not?"

she wasn't too keen to follow. "I SEE A SPIDER!!!!!!"she shrieked. no way was she going down there, even if it meant spending time with lightningcry.

"there were four rouges! no cat could fend off that many!"she defended herself.

18 she rolled her eyes. "let's go kick some pampered rogue butt!"

sandstreak was in pheonix. greatshe thought. now i have to be all studystudystudy.studying was her least favoerite thing in the world. who needs it anyway? she passed all assessments without studying. maybe that's why she was put in pheonix.

19 she found two rogues by a pond picking on a tiny gray kit. "shadekit!"she wailed. that was her kit! she charged at one of the rogues and dug her claws deep in its neck. then she grabbed her kit and brought him over to her group. "are you ok?!"she demanded, licking his fur. gross! thought shadekit.

20 she grabbed shadekit and folloewd the others.

"shadekit, stay here!"she hissed as she dropped him into a bush.
"but mom-"
she dashed off to help the poor cat. she bit the rogues leg and clawed its nose.

22 "and i'm sunnyheart,"she meowed to redsong.
shadekit crept out of the bushes."who's that?"he asked.
"i told you to stay in thae bushes!"sunnyheart growled.

shadekit ran over to the cat attacking silverlight and batted its face with his needle-sharp claws "pow! take that!"he squealed.
"shadekit!"sunnyheart meowed desperately. she pulled him away from the rouge. "i got this!"she hissed at him, swinging her claws into the rogue's eyes.

24 "hi!"shadekit mewed to willowkit. "who is you? "hey guess what? i just battled a big cat! then my mom told me to go away. she's mean."

"i'm shadekit! i'm four moons! that means i can almost be an apprentice! how about you?"he squeaked excitedly.

"hi!"he meowed. "i'm shadekit. now we have enough cats to play warriors! wanna play? i'll be the leader!"

"why do you care how old we are?" he meowed, confused.

"ok let's play! i'm shadestar!" shadekit pounced on a piece of moss like it was a dog. "c'mon, it's gonna get to camp!"he mewled. then he pretended to hurt his leg. "oh no! my leg is broked!" he giggled.

"oh yeah! we need a med cat! u can be one maplekit! my leg is broked!"

sunnyheart watched the two cats. she wondered if she should do anything. she was confused.

shadekit wiggled his leg. "that tickles!"he mewled. then he got up."ok i'm all better!"he squealed. he got up and walked around, but tripped on a stick. "oof!" he meowed, and glared at the two she-kits. "it no funny!" he meowed, dthen fell over with laughter.
