"Am I ever ready?" said Blue with a smirk. "Can someone tells these bozos to tone it down a bit? They near fried my circuits last time." She walked closer to the bars of her cell to get a closer look at Alex, but froze as she saw Suzuki. Her eyes widened. "Is he all right?" she asked Alex, sounding worried, then shook her head. She rearranged her expression to one of nonchalance, trying to seem like she didn't really care that much. Still, her eyes kept flicking back to the old man.

"Oh. Good." said Blue, calming down. "I mean...um. Nevermind."
She looked around her cell for the rubber ball she had hidden in there somewhere. A guard had given it to her for good behavior a long, long time ago (no way she would be getting something like that now, not with the way she kept talking back to the scientists). She found it and pounced it off the ball.

"Yeah, I do. I mean, I have an older sister, but she's like 15 years older than me, so she wasn't really there much when I was growing up. So my cousins have sort of been like my little brothers instead. I mean, they are still little kids, so we don't really talk much, except about stuff like dinosaurs and cartoons, which they are obsessed with. But they're really nice. Sweet, and stuff. Really hyper though." James said, wondering as he did why he was saying so much. He wasn't usually so open about his family. Sure, he talked a lot, but not about himself, not really. Still, it felt.. nice to talk to Devin. He seemed like a good person to be around.

OOC: ok, this is my last post, I promise.
James thought for a second. "Three or four times a week, I guess. My aunt's a doctor, and her husband goes on business trips super often, and if they lefr the kids by themselves they'd destroy the house in five minutes flat, so I help out. Not with the distroying, I mean." He laughed. "You get it."

Blue managed to stash the ball in her hiding place (the hollow leg of the bedframe) before the guards saw it.

As she heard the announcement, she felt a ball of nerves grow deep in her stomach. This was out of the ordinary, and that never meant something good around here. Worried about what was going to happen, she shot an afraid look at Alex, then followed the guards' instructions and went to the back of her cell. Usually she would have argued, but something told her that if there ever was a moment to keep quiet and do what she had been told, this was it.

Alice overheard, and nodded. "I want to help too. What should we do? Is there anything we need? I mean, I know we need a lot of stuff, but...yeah." She trailed off, looking away.

OOC: Samoan, I am really curious, what's the gif on your signature from? :)

ooc: Yeah, everyone seems to be in the same homeroom. Which is a little weird, considering they are in different grades, but yeah.
    Are you all right? :-\

    IC:
"Oh, sorry, I didn't understand. Three, two boys, twins, and they are both 5, and one girl, Jackie, who is 3." James blushed a little at his earlier mistake. He should probably try to listen to people better. He felt a little awkward talking to Devin, not because he didn't like him, or he made him uncomfortable, he just sort of felt like he had to prove himself, or at least make him like him. It was a weird feeling, one he wasn't really used to, but not a bad feeling.

Ursus groaned, and batted a large paw at the other bear in complaint. He rolled over, (luckily not on his injured side), and covered his eyes with his other paw.
He sniffed, and froze. Suddenly one eye opened. "Food?"

Luma skulked around camp, trying to get out and about before too many people were awake. It's not that she didn't like them, she just wasn't used to being around others who treated her well. She still had some pretty bad memories of her past in the lab, and it made her jumpy to be around others because of it.
