"First, the basics. Try a swing or two." Ariana instructed Chance. "As it slashes, 5 playing cards'll appear, then launch at the target." she explained, focusing in order to be able to summon the cards.
"Looks like it." Arron said, smirking slightly in anticipation. "Let's go!" he proceeded to semi-shout as he broke into a decently speedy run.
"A tree, I guess. Didn't really think the explanation through."
In the unspecialized form, all the cards were regular projectiles, although they were deadly sharp. The card that was fired embedded itself in the bark of the tree about an inch. "I can also change the form of the blade, and that makes both the blade and the cards different elements, as well as a different Card suite." Ariana said, pointing out that the current cards were a random draw with no elemental effects.
"Get ready." Arron said as he glanced over to Megumi, before focusing a determined gaze on the door of the school they were running to. He lowered his body and center of gravity slightly, and trailed his right hand along the ground gently as they ran. 'The ground's hard... not soft like it's supposed to be in this area...'
"Nothing... just the ground's hard, when in this area it should be soft." Arron said, shrugging it off as they reached the school building. "Should we sneak in or should we charge?"
"Good." Arron complimented with a smile that said he had been thinking that, but wanted to see what she thought. With another nod, he glanced side to side. "There's probably a less conspicuous way in, in that case."
"Already here." Arron said, landing next to her as she finished her sentence. He barely made a sound as he landed, but one that was more like a small gust outside than the landing of feet. "Oh, I should tell you, I can do a little element manipulation. Water, Fire, stuff like that. And combinations, like ice and lightning."
"Yeah. Fire, Water, Air, and Earth. My brother can combine them though, but he's a Meister." Ariana said to Chance.
Arron quietly opened the door that led out of the room they were in, glanced both ways down the halls, and then stepped out of the room. "Looks like it's clear for now.. come on."
"I guess it wouldn't hurt." Ariana said, transforming into her Rapier of Spades form, which specialized in the element of air. "Spades is a Rapier, and is linked to Air. Clubs and Earth match, that's a Greatsword. Water and Diamonds are a Katana. Hearts and Fire are a Longsword." Ariana elaborated.
"I was thinking the same thing." Arron said to Megumi with a slight smile, before quieting down and creeping along the hallway to the next turn. He carefully peaked out past the corner, seeing nothing in either direction.
Ariana shifted into her Greatsword form, the hilt being shaped like the Club suit. The weapon was surprisingly lightweight despite it's mass and it's element. This was, in part, due to it being a Weapon instead of just a mundane old Greatsword.

Arron touched the ground, then crept around the corner he had peered around. "I have a feeling the Witch is this way, Megumi." Arron whispered to her and began to sneak down the hall.

I have a great idea, well, at least I think it's a great idea :3
I'm not good with explaining things well, but essentially, my character (because I love playing characters like this) would be a shy, reserved, nerdy girl with a crush on your character. Your character is a popular girl, with no idea about my character's feelings for her, or really any idea that my character exists. But, what your character doesn't know is that they were childhood best friends until my character moved to Europe when they were still four or five. I'm thinking my character could be a year younger than yours. Plot starts around Christmas-time, about mid-December, and there's a big school Christmas dance type thing coming up. My character moves back to the States amidst the chaos of the dance excitement and ends up being your character's neighbor. They have the same classes because my character skipped a grade, and your character is assigned to show her around the school. If you can understand all this jibber jabber good, feel free to suggest other stuff until we get this good enough to RP ^_^
