ooc: Oops... Behind. I read a little... their going fox hunting, right? Erm... What happened?
ic: Silentpaw looked around, but was as stiff as a rock. All this talk about foxes and hunting reminded her of all the 'fun' she had had as the crazy fox-friend (or suicidal) kit in SunClan.

Although poppy usually brings dreamless sleep, Mistpaw could see random colors swimming before her closed eyes. She snoozed on.
ooc: Hey Groovy, Mist probably isn't going to the med cat meeting, is she?

A black shape stopped at the top of the bank, skidding on the melting snow. A quick glance behind her shoulder revealed the swarm of stinging insects only a little ways behind her. However, dread had stopped the warrior in her tracks, and Stealthfire was forced to watch with sinking heart as her friend disappeared beneath the frigid water.
As soon as the silver tabby's ears went under, the she-cat once again sprinted towards the water. With a splash, coal black fur met dark icy water. Being a ThunderClan cat, Stealthfire wasn't a prime swimmer, and not keen at the idea of being able to swim in the first place. Memories of watching the RiverClan cats splish splash in the water from the warm dryness of Sunningrocks had taught her little.
With paws churning almost uselessly, the she warrior thrashed through the liquid trying to get to the apprentice.

Can you start the thread?
You can post almost anywhere, but THIS is his territory.

Doh! Forgot to say who for didn't I?
Oatkit.
-
The swirling colors that Mistpaw saw changed from a soft red and gold mix, with a smell of catnip and roses, to a sickly greenish-yellow mixed with the smell of crowfood (or something else horrible). Since she was knocked out, no would come to the apprentice at least until she woke up, but the stench was strong enough for even her to scent.

I have my used-to-be-loner-but-fell-in-love-with-kittypet Drizzle. She has a few kits, but they grow up so quick! *looks at Whiz who is already talking about leaving* Ah well....
I think it might be funny to see how Majik handles her (or Whiz, she's quite playful)
EDIT: Oops, didn't see two posts before me.

Mistpaw stirred, and slowly her eyes flickered open. The words of her mentor were just barely heard by the apprentice, but the words of Dreamcatcher were fairly clear. "I'm feeling fi-" The she-cat was going to say that all was fine, it was okay, but just then pain hit her and she winced. "I was fine."

I don't bookmark, but it's a good idea...
I have 15 cats... hmm...

I was sifting through staff applications today for no apparent reason (either I never had a reason or it was such a silly reason I already forgot what it was), and then something occurred to me! I clicked the "new post" button, and I was like "I should post this as an idea!!!"
Okay, enough story telling and rambling.
I was thinking that maybe the staff application board should have a form like the bio board. That way you wouldn't have to copy and paste the form from another post, and it might look neater.
I opened the can of worms, now I get to watch everyone try to put them back in the can!!!

Silentpaw looked over towards where the voice of Atreyu, and also from where the mouthwatering scent of rabbit was coming. "Sure!" She answered, as the piece of prey hit the ground besides her. Slowly the apprentice bent her head and took a bite of the rabbit, savoring it as she chewed.
-
Mistpaw smiled at the thought of food, although in her mind she was still cursing her wretched paw. "Thanks." She stammered, relieved that the smell of chipmunk had drowned out the bad smell of whatever Moonlightring had done to her paw.

Hmm... Hmm Hmm Hmm.... I'm really out of ideas...
I'm just going to spit out something unrealistic to give everyone some ideas!!!
Okay, so all the kitties are sleeping except a couple, and then one vanishes into THIN AIR!!! But the kitties look up and a shadow of some bigggg creature is seen swooping around with the kitty thrashing!!! Then everyone else wakes up, the sun comes out, the shadow disappears, and some big thing like a kaboom happens!!! And... a meteor shower hits or somethin?
I DID mention it was unrealistic right? Well! I'll be thinking in the background here! *melts into background*

Mistpaw bent her head, and took a bite out of the rodent. After chewing, thoughtfully savoring the taste, the apprentice cocked her head a little. "You know, I don't think I've ever had chipmunk before... It tastes kinda squirrely." She said, looking back down at the carcass.

Stealthfire, hearing the voice of some fish-faced RiverClanner, hissed with annoyance. "Why aren't you helping you mangy fur-ball?! My friend is somewhere in this stupid river sinking to her death!" The warrior shrieked across the bubbling water, struggling to keep her head dry. Fish swam around, skittish and yet curious (not to mention dumb), tickling the she-cats paws and sparking her annoyance at the RiverClanner even more.

Stealth- i'm just a little confused. Hiddenflare would be a warrior. And Oatkit's, what, two, three moons.
Lol, there is a pretty big age difference...
Hiddenflare is gentle and playful, not many friends either, so I thought it might be a good idea to get her teamed up with a kit. And since Oatkit seems to have some mother troubles, maybe he could use a nice warrior?

ooc: Meep! Late! Sowy!
ic: Alasse, a handsome and well build tom, walked peacefully through his territory. His long speckled black fur swirled around him as bursts of chilly air rose and fell. The grasses swayed back and forth, and in the bleak sunlight their dying brown stalks were turned to copper.
Soon, the tom cat caught sight of the lost she-cat, and promptly made his way over to her. The grass parted before him, and snapped back into place behind, leaving almost no trail except a couple of flattened stalks. "Why hello there missy! Are ye lost?" Asked Alasse in his smooth and elegant speech.
