"psst" LockPaw hissed at the kit, out of the elder's earshot, "Kit come here." She prodded from the shadows, "I've got a job for you if you don't mind." She purred in a velvate voice steppping into the kit's view her brown and white fur glinting in the den's low light.

“I thank you for your understanding, Mistleaf, please do not think ill of me. I would not like to see your new rank jeopardized.” This was BaneStar’s way of warning the cat to remember her place and remember the state she was in the day BaneStar had found her. “This concludes my speech for today, warriors your job, as always, is to fetch food for the clan. Med. Cats, before its dark you may wish to explore the herb fields, but do not go alone! The others I leave you to be. At sun high I will patrol the boundaries with two others, Murrowheart and Mistleaf, be ready then.”
With that BaneStar disappeared into her wall, her den, and lay down. It was already obvious this was not going to be an easy struggle.

"The elders aren't likely to ancwer the questions of aprentaces, like me or snadpaw, but they may reply to yours. Sandpaw and i are only curious and would love to hear the wise elder speak her mind on the subject. Will you help us?" Lockpaw asked sweetly, she gave off an air of a warrior, she had already gone through nearly half of her fighting training and stealth training, now she just needed more information on the world, she was desprate though it didn't show to the kit.

“Don’t worry, don’t worry!” LockPaw reassured, “the elder doesn’t have much to do anyway, and look she’s going to check out the sky now. Plus you’d be great company and maybe, just maybe she’ll warm up to other kits, and it’ll be all because of you!” She smiled egerly

BaneStar sighed and murmured to herself in the quiet of her den, "This maybe more difficult than i first antisipated..."

She watched as the sun rose higher and higher into the clear blue sky, it was nearly sun high and as promised, BaneStar needed to go on patrol. She lugged herself out of the den and hoped gracefully to the window awaiting the other two cats. She didn't call for them for she was sure they would have remembered her coments earlier. She waited patiently, there was after all some time left to go.

"Well," LockPaw began, understanding why the kit wouldn't understand, "Stars don't just poof into exictance, it usually means that something significant has happened, or someone important has died. We just want to know, as future warriors you understand?"

LockPaw glared at the grouchy old elder, "Not very friendly..." She murmured then turned back to the white she-cat, "You can help us? Please tell us all you know, we'll listen to the very end!!" She purred excitedly, bristling with anticipation.

Ooc: Fiddle's been put in a cavern/ hollow log, and is being garded by the group neer by who are relaxing. Minus bearfur who's gone for a walk.

BearFur peered through the shadows and purred softly to himself, this was his peace, solitude and darkness guided only by the moon's pale light.

BaneStar looked for someone to go with the blind med cat. She was cautions to send Emodeath with him but she saw little choice.
"Emodeath," She called "Go with Holloweyes to the herb feild please."

With that out of the way BaneStar turned her attention to Murrowheart, ignoring the cold look in her eyes, BaneStar knew she was strong enough to halt any problems among the ranks, "Come, we'll set out now, Mistleaf can follow our scent and catch up." She purred leaping gracefully to the leafy ground and signaling Murrowheart to follow.

"very good, Whitecloud, I'm nearly half done my fighting training and have resently started hunting lessons with my mentor. I should be a warrior within a few moons!" She purred proudly puffing out her chest, though she knew she was still skinny and looked young for her age.

Lockpaw laughed, "They aren't as bad as rats but i hear anything can be dangerous if it's cornered." Lockpaw began to forget her overwhelming curiousity of the star and Whiteclouds words became her focus, "Maybe," She mewed a little nervously not wanting to be rude, "Maybe you could take me for a walk in the forest one day and teach me somethings? My mentor has been busy of late and i fear falling behind in my training, could you help me maybe, Whitecloud?" She purred

"Both of you keep your heads! If anything starts you'll both be striped of your ranks, do i make myself clear?!" The normally soft spoken calico was getting helplessly irritated by the tension of her clan, this made her begin to re-thinnk her decitions.

"come lets head out, don't forget to mark the path we travel along." She said more calmly leading into the forest.

    HawkEye
    Tame as a rabid hyena

Hawkeye, the well talked of yet unseen ((this means he hasn't reveald himself to the other cats yet)) brother of BaneStar padded softly through the feild of stones, rubbing softly up against the odd one to remove ticks from his coat. They were annoying creatures but not ones easily avoided in the deep woods beyond GlassClans borders where he had just come from.

BaneStar purred with content at her deputy's actions and even he unusual friendliness, though she said nothing not wanting to jinx it. She looked up and watched the leaves dance as they took in the sun's warm rays, new leaf was definatly here. The ground was a little wet and the smell of fresh growth filled the she-cat's nostrils. It finally felt like home.

"I can't imagin..." Lockpaw mewed very much oposed to the thought, she had spent a few nights doing chorse in the elders den and not many of them were as friendly as Whitecloud. Whitecloud was actually very motherly and didn't look old, lockpaw wondered to herself if she would look so pretty at that age, she was after all a young-looking cat.
