Clovershadow stood up. "Well done! How does it feel to have your first catch?" she asked, smiling.

"Good." she meowed, nodding in agreement. "Let's hunt for a little bit longer, then we can head back to camp." Clovershadow said, looking up at the sun.
Cashmere nodded and hopped over to them.

Clovershadow spotted a blackbird nearby. She crouched down and stalked forward, waiting until she was within pouncing distance. The bird stiffened, as if it had heard a noise, then relaxed. Clovershadow crept up on the unsuspecting bird and pounced, killing the bird with a swift bite to the throat.

Clovershadow carried her catch in her mouth. "Are you ready to go back to camp?" she asked, her voice muffled by the feathers.

Clovershadow let Nightpaw take the lead on the way to camp.

When they reached the training hollow Clovershadow motioned for Nightpaw to follow. "This first move is called a back kick. Explosive surprise move to catch opponent from behind. Judge opponent's distance from you carefully, then lash out with your back legs, taking all weight on your front paws." She instructed.
