Sol turned and climbed on top of a pile of ruble behind him and peered into the distance "yep there they are, but I'm not sure if they brought anypony"

"I can't tell, do you have any binoculars"

"I think I can see two non zombies" he replied "but I can't make them out to well"

"yeah two" I think "wait a second, that, I think one of them is Shimmer, but I don't recognize the other"

"Then we gotta get 'em outta there" Sol replied shouldering his crossbow "just tell me when and I can drop a good few"

IC: "Don't worry" Sol growled "I never miss" with those words he sent two bolts in quick succession into the two zombies holding the prisoners hostage. -
"I'll cover you the two of you!" Sol hollered to the two stunned survivors "Run!"
Shimmer recognized the voice calling to her and immediately dashed off toward where it came from. -

Sol leapt down off his vantage point and ran over to Shimmer getting her to her feet "you see that camp over there, run to it" Sol told her "I'll cover you" -
