Briggs flew down to her and shifted to his human form "it's okay calm down" he said gently

Winter stayed in the bush to scared to come out

"it's ok you need to calm down that will help the shifting if you stay in a panicked state you will keep shifting if your new at it" Briggs said trying to calm her down

Briggs was relieved when she shifted back

"ok so I'm guessing you don't know what you are" Briggs said

"you are a shifter" Briggs said "did you shift into any other animals or was it just a wolf?"

"ok so we know you can possibly shift into two different animals so far" Briggs said

Winter shook her head as her stomach growled

"its ok calm down don't fight the shift" Briggs said he could tell she was going to shift again

"Well your other form is a Gila Lizard" Briggs said i wounder if winter can do that he thought he was sure she couldn't but now he didn't know

Winter stayed where she was

Briggs rolled his eyes "and who are you" he asked irritated there are too many shifters in my territory he thought

Willow looked at the higher one wanting up there "wow" she said sniffing the lower one

"you shut up" Briggs snapped at the young one he was getting sick of all of these people

Winter didn't do anything still very scared

"here's an idea all of you GET OUT OF MY TERRITORY" Briggs yelled

Willow jumped and growled at the new things

"Willow calm down they are just stairs" Ty said going to them "see watch" he said going up them to the bed

Willow stopped growling and stared

"you know what if your going to talk to people talk like a normal person" Briggs yelled before his daughters came up "what are you two doing here?"

Lilly laid down her stomach still growling

"for an intelligent child you are stupid I was talking about your tine of voice not your vocabulary" Briggs said slightly mocking her

Winter got up and hide behind her dad shaking with fear

"personally I really don't care now shut up and beat it" Briggs said really wishing he could just shift but then he knew Winter would be even more freaked out thinking that there would be a fight he sighed then turned to Sarah "why are you two even here if you thought I was in trouble you should have known better than to bring your little sister" he chided

Winter looked at the kid and tilted her head "how do you know" she asked her curiosity getting the better of her

Winter narrowed her eyes confused "that doesn't mean anything saying that is just a way to brag and show off" she said

Briggs was surprised Winter was even talking

"you mean bragging or boasting as you like to say it still doesn't answer my question" Winter said
