Bright rays of sun heated the female's golden fur as she moved around. Petal had a lot of pent up energy that she wanted to get out. Currently the tabby was debating whether or not she should paint something, but painting was more of a calming thing, right now she felt like running. She came to a stop, staring intently at a few scattered sticks when an idea hit her.
"Hey, anyone wanna race?" she called out, jumping to her feet and arranging the sticks into a makeshift starting line. This was gonna be fun.

Petal had no idea that her sister was back. She hadn't seen any of her siblings since they were kits. She had only seen Empty as an apprentice. Perhaps Renegade had shown up one time, long ago, but Petal had been alone otherwise. Of course, Vani had always been here. The female smiled to herself at the thought of the little kitten Vani, who showed up one day with no family and no friends. Now she was the leader of Sunclan.
The tabby she-cat was wandering around, not expecting much out of her day, which had been rather quiet so far. Her golden eyes wandered the area, looking for something to do.

'Boo!' Petal jumped, and something, or someone, hit her side. The poor she-cat thought it was just some random clanmate who was playing a joke on her, it didn't sound like Vani. She turned, preparing to scold whoever it was. "He-" she froze, staring at the dark patterned she-cat. The tabby stumbled back, eyes wide. She couldn't think of words as she stared at the cat who looked just like her sister. Was she hallucinating? "Holy crap, is that you Rene?" She continued to stare, eyes huge.

Petal offered a warm smile to Hecate, glad that she had stopped smoking when she came over, before turning her golden optics on her sister. The tabby still wasn't used to seeing her biological sister around, but her smile turned into a grin. "You don't stand a chance," she said loudly, still grinning at Rene. Petal was acting more childish than usual, but she hadn't seen Renegade in ages, and she wasn't about to be all adult like just because that was proper, or whatever. This was her sister after all.

Was she over-reacting? Maybe. But she hadn't seen her sister in a long time. "I don't know! You just surprised me!" The tabby protested, her face creasing in a frown. "I haven't seen you in a long time." Petal wasn't really sure what to say to her sister. That she missed her? That she was glad to see her again? To tell her that so much had changed? It was all true, but it was too much to say. Petal aimed to headbutt Renegade playfully, mainly just glad to see the female again.

After receiving a headbutt in return from her sister, Petal calmed down a bit and returned to normal. 'How are you' was a bit of a complicated question, especially when such a large span of time lay between the current moment, and the time they last saw each other. "I don't know, ok, I guess. A lot has happened Rene." She paused, her mind moving back to the bad things that had happened in her sister's absence. Their mother's disappearance, Bloodclan taking over, all the deaths and violence. "Awful stuff has happened lately," she looked at Renegade with a serious gaze. "You're lucky your here now, and not a month ago, I'm just glad things are better now."

Petal looked curiously at the sparkling thing that Comebackkit was holding- whatever it was. "Where'd you find that?" she asked, looking to the kitten, who was currently spinning. She was glad that nothing had gotten lit on fire, that would not be good. It was pretty though, Comeback had called it a firework, so she assumed that was the name of it.

Petal let out a small giggle. "Or maybe it's because brave Sunclanners fought to protect their friends and family," she said, playfully rolling her eyes at her sister. But she didn't want to think about all the violence that had been occurring lately. "So what do you think of the new territory?" She asked, looking at her sister. Personally, Petal really missed the mansion, it had been her home for a long time, and she missed her old room and everything.

Petal nodded. The abandoned summer camp was nice, and there was a beautiful view from on top of the nearby rise. "It's nice here, but I think the new territory will probably be nice too." In all honesty, Petal liked human structures like the cabin and the mansion. They were nice, and fun to decorate, easier to decorate than a bramble den or whatever anyway.

What kind of jobs did she like? Petal knew what her sister meant, but in all honesty she wasn't really sure. "I guess, I've always loved painting, it's fun," she said thoughtfully. Painting was definitely something she had and would always like, it was wonderful to create something beautiful like art, and she sadly thought of the tree that had stretched across the walls of her room.

If she can get turned to stone or whatever, and live, I don't think she's going anywhere." Petal was definitely glad that her friend was still around. If Vani died, she didn't know what she'd do. "I guess you'll just have to settle for mage," the tabby said, letting out another giggle, and attempting to gently bop her sister on the nose.
