Rank Meaning;;
Chieftain: This is the leader of the tribe, he who controls how the tribe works, adds to the code of conduct, and receives advice from the War Chieftain and Shamans. He is the one who organizes patrols for the hunters, gatherers, and warriors. The Chieftain is also someone who makes all of the decisions, whether it's for waging war on another tribe, clan, or group, expanding borders, or just the regular everyday decision. He is the cat that is to be obeyed at all costs and any problems will be dealt with by him. Something to keep in mind is that the Chieftain is always male, not once has a female ruled.
War Chieftain: Also known as the deputy of the tribe, he is someone the Chieftain looks to for advice. He is also someone who helps with the decisions of the clan and supports the Chieftain no matter what. However, he is allowed to disagree and argue with the Chieftain about things all he wants. Aside from helping the leader of the tribe, he is the one who keeps the tribe in order when the Chieftain is away. Being only the deputy, he doesn't have much to do besides help with organizing patrols and whatever else the Chieftain can think of for the War Chieftain to do. Keep in mind, that because the War Chieftain is the deputy of the tribe he is also heir to being the Chieftain, thus, the War Chieftain can only be male.
Shamans: They are the cats who heal the injured in the tribe. These cats are the ones who receive dreams, prophecies, and omens from The Great Beyond. Cats who are a Shaman normally stay as a Shaman no matter what they have done wrong or what has happened to them. They have about as much power over the clan as the War Chieftain and have complete power over the Chieftain. There are only two Shamans in the tribe, one of each gender, therefore, the Shamans can be male and female. However, there has been times where both have been male or both have been female, though it is normally a male and female.
Shaman Tiro: These are the cats that train under the Shamans until the Shamans see fit. They learn the ways of a Shaman by learning herb names and their medical uses and how to communicate to The Great Beyond. Shaman Tiro are normally chosen by the Shamans when they are first born into the tribe. Just like the Shamans, they can receive dreams, prophecies, and omens from The Great Beyond. There are normally two Shaman Tiro, one for each Shaman, and are normally both male and female as well. However, they, just like the Shamans, have been known to be both male or both female.
Warriors: These are the cats who were trained to be the fighters of the tribe. Although, they were taught how to hunt as well so that they may provide for the clan. They also are known to be guards of the tribe as well, protecting the Kit-mothers against possible predators. Warriors can be of either gender and take on a Tiro when the Chieftain assigns them one. Aside from being battle-ready whenever possible, these cats are allowed to do whatever they wish so long as it is not against the Code of Conduct.
Hunters: They are the ones who provide for the clan, were trained to provide for the clan. On hunts, they may hunt in singles, pairs, or large groups, catching whatever they can. When they group together, it's normally to catch a large piece of prey rather than the normally small prey. They are stronger hunters in groups, but will usually hunt in pairs or alone whenever they feel like it. Just like the warriors, they take on a Tiro when the Chieftain assigns one to them. Hunters, however, are only males seeing as they are stronger and can take down larger prey than a female can.
Gatherers: These are the cats who gather berries from bushes and fruits from trees around the cave. They are only she-cats and young kits who are not ready to become a Tiro yet. Normally, they are accompanied by a warrior who will see to it that they are protected from dangers. Although, they can go out and gather berries and fruits on their own if they wish, however, kits are never allowed to go out on their own.
Tiro: These are the kits who are of seven moons of age and ready to train. There are three different types of Tiro, the Gatherer Tiro, the Hunter Tiro, and the Warrior Tiro. The Gatherer Tiro is a she-cat who is lithe and small, a cat that can fit into tight spaces easily. Those she-cats are taught how to properly pick berries from bushes and fruits from trees. The Hunter Tiro is a tomcat who is small and but strong, but since they are not a she-cat, they cannot be gatherers. Instead, they are taught how to hunt prey of different sizes in order to provide for the tribe. Finally, the Warrior Tiro is a tomcat or she-cat of normal or larger size and is very strong and heavy. They are taught the ways of warrior, basically, how to kill a cat properly and how to protect the helpless when needed. Tiros normally train until fourteen moons, but their mentor can hold off their ceremony if they see the cat is not ready.
Kit-Mothers: She-cats who are nursing or expecting kits. They are the she-cats who are from either the Warrior or Gatherer rank that are too heavily pregnant to provide any farther. Kit-mothers usually stay in the nursing den until their kits are of seven moons or until their kits can provide for themselves. The she-cats are protected by the entirety of the tribe, but are normally guarded by the warriors.
Kits: This is a self-explanatory rank here, they are cats under the age of seven moons. Some of the kits, if they are old enough, go onto to the gatherer rank until they are of Tiro age. From that age on, they are allowed to choose what type of Tiro they wish to be.
Elders: These are the cats who can no longer provide for the tribe. They are cats who are of old age, have been maimed, or severely injured and can no longer help in the tribe. Elders are the honored rank within the clan for the Tiros are the cats who are to know help them through life. They are provided for by the Tiros until that Tiro is of age to leave the Tiro rank. A cat will stay an elder until the cats in The Great Beyond call for them to join them.

Rules Out of Character;;
Be kind and patient with one another here
DO NOT threaten to report anyone for any incoherency or anything of the like, please pm me about it. From there, I will decided what to do with the player and whether or not the problem is a big enough deal to be reported about. However, if it is out of my handle and yours, you may report them instead of pming me about it.
Don't start drama OOC
This includes threatening to hurt yourself or others, I will not tolerate that. It also includes rants that are inappropriate and whatnot.
Be appropriate
I understand that this is a PG-13 website now, but that does not give you the right to type inappropriate things on here. Keep swearing to a minimum, does not have to be starred out or anything, just don't make your cat swear constantly. Also, do not be posting sexual things on here, fade in, fade out or take it elsewhere.
Do not plagiarize or steal someone else's work
This will be an automatic banning from the thread as well as a report to the staff if you steal someone else's work. Plagiarizing is bad and really not a smart thing to do.
Be realistic
I don't want any polka dotted cats, cats with wings, etc. This is a realistic rp thread so cats must have appropriate eye color and coat patterns. That's all I ask.
Do not spam
Please do not spam on this thread, it is for signing up only. You are not allowed to advertise any of your threads on here no matter what, that's what the staff-made advertising threads are for. You may ask questions about the tribe on here, but do not just chat regularly. I will make a chat thread if I need to, other than that, it is just signing up cats and asking questions.
Be semi-advanced to advanced
I did not just put this tribe in the advanced area for no reason. I would like it if this is an advanced clan, so that means longer posts and no one-liners unless you have a low muse. If you have a low muse, I trust that you do, but do not constantly use that as an excuse.
Be Semi-literate to literate
I would love it greatly if whoever signs up as great grammar, spelling, capitalization, and punctuation. This is an advanced thread, so I would expect that from you people. However, I do hold the right to not accept you if I see that you are not advanced enough to join.
If you have read the rules and agree with them, please put 'Colored Stones' in the other part of your form.
