Mia had been practising speaking between suckling.
"Leave us to cvhat, please."

"Shut up," Miaowkit mewed. "You can only speak if your eyes have opened. And yours are all closed. You have to wait a few days."

Mia became invisible and squirmed to Kuro. Suddenly, she became visible and started pawing him.

Mia was dazed, but squarely clawed Kuro, as due to her age she couldn't control her claws, and dived out of her nest, hitting her neck on the ground.

Mia got up and bounded to her mother, tail straight up.

Mia walked to Mikaze and pushed him over.

(yes, they're walking and talking.)
Mia leapt out of the nest and made a break for the edge of the nursery.

Mia raced back to Blackkit, having seen her reflection in a puddle.

Mia dropped from the roof of the nursery onto Blackkit, pawing him playfully. He pawed back, hitting the other kits, who all took it aggressively, and everykit began attacking Blackkit.

Mia landed some impressive blows to Blackkit's head, before stopping the brawl and suckling from the frontmost teat. Mia was turning out to be the strongest kit, and she had a grudge against Dawningkit, due to Dawning being born last, that was starving Dawningkit. Amber had eight teats and nine kits. Dawning had to go without.

Mia rubbed up against her teat and purred at Amberheart.

Mia was clearly intoxicated, and began poking Amber's eyes with brambles.

Miaowkit sat down, no longer drunk. The others would be ready to eat soon, so Mia emptied Amberheart and curled up to sleep.

"Me!"

Mia leapt out of her nest and bit down on Amber's tail.

Mia decided to go for Amber's tail again.

Mia slid off Amberheart's tail, then got up, padded over, and bit down so hard that she fractured her mother's tail.

"The kits should go hunting!"

(She was using her gums.)
Disheartened, Miaowkit began to try to suckle.

Mia suckled furiously until there was no milk in Amberheart, however hard Cocoakit suckled.
