OOC: By 'a new girl' do you mean Aether or Holly, or does it not matter?

Aether scratched the base of her wing.

OOC: I'd like to, yeah.

Aether got distracted by a bird flying overhead.

Aether fiddled nervously with the side of her mask, not really knowing how she had managed to get to the dorm before her dorm-mates. "Um...Hi?"

Aether wondered if her appearance had scared Juliet, and followed her out.

Aether started to glow involuntarily, and turned into a large white bird. She sighed - this usually happened when she witnessed someone's death. She peered over Juliet, to look at the little girl.

OOC: Yeah.

IC: Aether flinched at the screaming, but didn't move. Her tears dripped down her beak and landed on the child.

Aether sighed, and her tears stopped. Apparently, phoenix tears didn't have the healing properties that people said they had, or, at least, they couldn't bring people back from the dead. She backed away from Juliet, and beat her wings to become airborne. Soon, Aether was flying fairly low across the campus, observing the people on the ground.

Whilst she was flying, Aether spotted a pigeon making its way across the sky. "Well," Aether muttered to herself "Its not like I've eaten today..." And with that, she launched herself in the direction of the bird, making it coo in panic and flutter haphazardly away.

Aether landed near Juliet and Aaron with a dead pigeon in her beak. She swallowed it, and said: "By the looks of her, she'll be dead before anyone gets here..."

"Why don't you just take her to the infirmary?" Aether asked mildly, "They might be able to help her there."

Aether winced 'This is not going to end well...' she thought.

Aether followed them, curiously. She wondered vaguely why she didn't just morph into her human form, but just then didn't really seem like the time.

Since they had apparently stopped, Aether began glowing, and became vaguely human looking again.

"Or you could have just set fire to her..." Aether muttered, and then flew off, back to the dorms.

OOC: Aether was following Juliet & co, and now she's in a dorm.

IC: Aether unpacked her few meager possessions, and sighed, removing her mask, and tracing the multitude of scars on her face with a finger.

Aether put her mask back on, hoping no-one saw her mutilated face.

Aether rummaged through the bottom of her backpack, coming out with a mashed packet of biscuits, with half of their contents in crumbs at the bottom of her pack. "Ugh, this day just gets better and better..." She put the remaining biscuits on her bed, and went outside to shake the crumbs from her pack.

Ashstorm, bored with laying in the tree, stood up, and jumped to the ground. She flicked a leaf from her fur, and started to pad away in a random direction.

When she reckoned all the crumbs had been dislodged, Aether re-entered the dorm, and collapsed on her bed.

Masquerade walked to a store and bought some coffee.
