"Otherwise I'll just fade away, and it'll be like I never existed." Masquerade explained, looking for a likely place.

Masquerade looked through the glass of a hardware shop. There was a faint light on in the back of the shop. "Bingo..." Masquerade slipped through the glass, and began unlocking the door.
-
Masquerade walked quietly towards the light. He peered around a wall, and saw a man, who was wearing the getup of a security guard. He was apparently making some coffee. Masquerade walked up to the man, and said: "Shouldn't you be up front? There might be thieves in the shop." The security guard turned around with a yell, and when he saw Masquerade, he almost turned purple. "And who do you think you are?" He roared, swiping at the spirit with his baton, which went through him harmlessly. "Well, I'm not your friend, put it that way." Masquerade smirked nastily, and slowly dissolved into multicolored sparks, which landed on the man, and apparently caused him pain. Eventually, the security guard was covered in the sparks, and his appearance started to change, which also apparently hurt. When this was done, Masquerade was standing in his place, no longer ghost-like.
-
"If you wanna talk about it, talk about it, I don't really mind either way." Masquerade shrugged, whilst searching his pockets.
-
"Work together how? The last time I worked with someone, they let me die...kinda" Masquerade answered, folding his arms.
-
"Well, my boss was a big white dragon hell bent on world domination...so I guess that explains a lot...Immortality huh, well, I have nothing better to do, so why not." Masquerade said.
-
"World domination too huh, well, let me give you some advice: Don't try and absorb energy cores or whatever, from what I heard, the last few people to do that got killed." Masquerade shrugged, not really sure why he was dispensing advice.
-
"Well, immortality makes sense now." Masquerade said, tapping the side of his mask.
-
My goals? Huh, let's see...well, I need to evolve Hydranoid again, Masquerade fished Hydranoid from his pocket, apparently waking him up, since he yawned, and muttered something. Masquerade put the sleeping bakugan back into his pocket, then continued "And I need to fix a couple of my...work related items...but, nothing particularly long term."
-
OOC: Sure has
"By work items, I mean a broken teleportation device, and some cards that...should not be dropped." Masquerade smiled at Greed. "And my previous line of work isn't important."
-
OOC: Um
Masquerade pulled out a tiny screwdriver, and a black card. He levered the card open, revealing circuitry, and began to fiddle with wires and such.
-
Masquerade ceased fiddling with his card, and began to think about his old boss, Naga. Eventually, this line of though brought him to Naga's sister, who had supposedly died in action. He wondered vaguely if her spirit was still wandering around somewhere. His thinking continued for several minutes, before he snapped himself back to reality.

Aether swooped down through some clouds in her phoenix form, narrowly missing a bus, but managing to and in the school grounds without injuring anyone.
-
Aether glowed softly, and morphed into a blond winged girl, with a mask that strongly resembled her phoenix form. She straightened her mask, and began to walk into school. "Well... I missed the bus didn't I?"
-
"Mmm...You have a point. Alright, next time I won't fly so low." Aether replied thoughtfully
-
"Uh..Next time I'll walk?" Aether said,slightly embarrassed.
-
"Hi...Uh...Have we met?" Aether shook Samantha's hand uncertainly.
-
Aether realized her backpack, which contained her belongings, was no longer with her. "Damn. That's the last time I fly near a road..." she muttered as she searched around.
-
Aether finally found her backpack - in the top branches of a tree, and, once she had retrieved it, she hurried over to the dorms, mainly so she wouldn't lose her things any more.
