Masquerade cast a quick look around the end of the wall he was hiding behind.

Masquerade shuffled back about a step, then fired his gun, and his laser pointer over in the random direction of the attackers.
-
Masquerade smirked, and said, mainly to himself "I knew buying a laser pointer would come in handy one day..."

The Tribe Of The Phoenix Tears begun when a loner named Fallingblaze decided to end her wandering once and for all. She traveled to the Moonstone, and got her name, and found a suitable camp for the clan to live. Then, disaster struck, and the tribe's camp burnt to the ground, victim of a lightning strike. The tribe was lucky to escape, and many did not. Eventually, they found another camp, and Fallingblaze, now Fallingstar, set out to revive the tribe.

Camp:
The camp dens are small natural caves in giant pillars of stone. They are completely watertight, but can be a little cold without company. There is a small clearing in the middle, with a dead tree, which serves as a can meeting place, and a center for socialisation etc. The surrounding area is quite far from Twolegs or other cats, and there is a fair amount of prey to be had. A small stream runs east of the camp.Rules:

Masquerade wandered out of the laser tag place, and realized he'd been left behind. In a fash of purple light, Hydranoid was a giant lizard once more, and was galloping down the road with Masquerade standing on his head
-
Ashstorm was sitting in a thick branch halfway up the tree. She flicked her tail in a bored fashion, feeling a soft breeze ruffle her fur.
-
Hydranoid picked his way carefully through a street, attempting not to step on anybody. "Do you really think this is a good idea?" He said "I mean, these people look really scared..." Masquerade snorted, and said "Ah, they'll get used to it."
-
OOC: If you like, I can find you some pictures Aquatail
IC: Masquerade looked around.
-
Masquerade spotted Jennifer and two others he didn't recognize. "Okay Hydranoid, stop here" He said, then immediately regretted it, as Hydranoid glowed purple, and turned back into a ball, and Masquerade was left high in the air with no support. When he hit the ground, Masquerade was surprised he could still stand, and when he did, he was also surprised that the only apparent damage was a broken rib or two.
-
Masquerade staggered upright, holding his side and wincing. "I - I'm good."
-
"No really, I'm fine." Masquerade said, still holding his ribs.
-
Burstfang sat quietly in a corner in the front area of the clan's home, trying to lick out a mat in her black fur. She looked up, and saw Breezestar enter the area. She said nothing, but dipped her head respectfully, then resumed her grooming.
-
Masquerade smiled politely, and said: "I don't need help..." He paused, and coughed into a hastily found tissue. He looked at the tissue in shock for a second, and then, sure most other people saw it too, spoke quietly: "I assure you, that has nothing to do with my broken ribs."
-
"Um...I can explain...I think..." Masquerade said hurriedly, then coughed again. "Uh...Where should I start..."
-
Noting her reaction, Masquerade said, "Well, perhaps this isn't the best time." Then, he coughed again, and his image flickered like a bad TV image "Okay, Its happening anyway...Uh, Y'see...I'm not exactly...Uh...Human?"
-
"Eh, alright, so I guess you won't be too surprised at what happens to me next." Masquerade spluttered, in between bloody coughs. His image flickered even more, and then exploded in a shower of multicolored sparks, leaving a slightly confused man in his place. The man looked around, then wandered off, muttering. The sparks reformed themselves into an ethereal Masquerade. He looked at himself, and muttered "Well, worse happens..."
-
"Well, It seems my spirit just separated from that guy's body." Masquerade said thoughtfully.
-
"Are you alright?" Masquerade asked.
-
"Don't ask me." Masquerade said, sitting down "Why, can you?"
-
"That's pretty neat, more useful than being like me anyway." Masquerade replied
