Xenonfur stopped in his tracks and slowly turned around to face the arrival.

'I doubt that after how you have just acted that Darkclan would be willing to tell you anything,' he aimed at the cat, who had rudely disrupted the peacefulness in the air.

'Where should we head to then?' he asked,'Are we just gonna let our feet take us there or do you want to go anywhere specific? I'm having a laid-back day today, so i don't mind,' he finished, matching her walking speed.

'I say that we keep our noses on the look out for this feral canine, and when we find him, we split up and surround him, leaving a small 'exit' in 1 direction. If he decides to attack us then we attack. If he decides to try and escape through the exit we'll chase it away. How does that sound?' Xenonfur asked,'Where do you think we should look first? The place where i found the catnip, or the place where you guys found the fox?'

OOC: I think we need someone to actually have a fox to RP with it - Anyone have a fox?

'I don't think killing it would be the right way. Of course if it attacks us violently then we should harm it - but if we only damage it rather than kill it then the fox will know not to come back and bother us,' mewed Xenonfur, slightly taken back by everyone wanting to just rush in and kill it.

Xenonfur kept near the back of the crowd. Xenonfur had 'stage' fright, and he usually stuttered and went all sweaty when he was looked at by a huge group of cats. He had stayed the furthest away from the front of the group, thinking he would avoid the humiliation of being at front, but then realised that he would need to be a Darkclan cat, or it would have been a wasted 6 moons - He had nowhere to return to either - so he gave up all hope of being left alone, and padded a step or two forward - just to note Charmstar that he was still there.

'I do have feelings for the fox - maybe we are the evil intruders - maybe it was just seeng what had entered its land - maybe it just wants to flee ASAP. If we just went around killing what pride would we have? And besides isn't it in the warrior code not to go around killing with no point?' he mewed trying to get his point through the skulls of the other cats,'Anyway baby foxes wouldn't eat a cat - we're too big. It'd prefer a kit - but even at that we wouldn't let a fox near the camp.... Make me the bait if you want - death is only an adventure!' he continued, as he ran after the others.

'What gives the newbies the right to try and tell me what to do? I have been here since the reconstruction of Darkclan began!,' he muttered quietly to himself,'I won't ever take orders from an ignorant apprentice!'

OOC: My computers been a piece of trash recently - so i may have a few 'breaks' for the next fortnight or so.

'Other than the odd behavioral problem everythings A-ok i guess... I don't really have a best friend yet, patrol duty is a bit hard... Not much i guess... How about you? Whats happening with your life?' replied and asked Novapaw, sweating because he didn't fully understand what her question was about.

He padded along beside her as they traveled in a random direction.

Xenonfur saw that Charmstar had noticed him, so he stopped trying to make himself stand out, since now it would look like he was showing off at something. His eyes darted from cat to cat to see who was new to clan hood - as he could tell from mostly excited faces. He was deeply sorry that he was late, if he had known about the ceremony being at that specific time then he would have hurried things along.

'I was only absent because its hard to adjust to clan life - and i was already intertwined in another story thank-you-very-much. Besides i was one of the 2 or 3 who didn't make awkward appearances during important times,' Xenonfur whispered silently at the others,'And we obey Charmstar, not this whiney apprentice. Charmstars wish was to find and teach the fox a lesson, and to only lead to seriously injuring it - even to the point of death - if it seriously damages one of us. If any of you try and kill the fox without reason i may have to take a different side to this teams.'
