"Cheerleading? With the stupid booty-" Rosie sighed. "Oy vey." She went and signed up as well. She wanted to duck out, but she also wanted to help Quinn. She took back her earlier thought of this being easy.

How did I get involved in this? Rosie was thinking before Amelia punched Quinn. Before she could react, Kenzie punched Amelia. Oy vey, boarding school was going from bad to worse.
-
"Easy, Kenzie. Deep breaths." die found the whole thing funny in retrospect, and she laughed a little. She spun around, face turned towards the sky. "What a great way to start a school year." She said, hint of sarcasm in her British voice.
-
She nodded, and started down the street, in the opposite direction of the coffee shop. A smile was on her face, despite the cold and the danger. They had escaped, no one was hurt, she found another person to trust. There wasn't many that fit the bill in this crazy world. A left found them on Main street. She tried to stick close to John, if Mr. Hill and his goons found them, she didn't want to get separated. She attempted to reign in the shivering, but it was rather cold. Next chance she got she was moving to Florida. Land of the sun. At least it didn't look like it was going to snow.
Mr. Hill walked into the coffee shop, two huge muscular men behind him. He quickly scanned the tables, looking for John, or his friend.
-
"I ate earlier, thank you though. I'm gonna go skate." Rosie excused herself. Back in England, the pond near her house froze every winter. She learned to skate on its rough surface. The ice rink was a bit different from the pond, but ice was ice. She pulled on her skates, and hit the ice.
-
"Only a little." She said stubbornly. After a moment, she sighed, she hated to ask for help. "Okay, yes, very cold."
She could generate heat, but it did not work to warm her, if anything it made her more vulnerable to the cold. She started to feel a little sleepy, which was bad, that was a symptom of hypothermia. It was only a block more to Luke's house, she reminded herself. -
As he took her hand, she almost immediately began feeling warmer. She stopped feeling so sleepy, thank goodness. Next time she was running away from someone, she would stop to grab her coat.
"It's been exciting." She said with a small laugh. "And if you hadn't dragged me in, then I wouldn't have known there were other mutants. You actually did me a favor."
To his question, she paused a moment, biting her lip. "My brother won't mind much. He might be a little exasperated, though." She shrugged. "He owes me for fixing his car, though." -
Rosie walked down the hall, one hand holding her skates, the other her nose. You know you weren't paying attention when you crash into the wall at full speed. She spotted another student, and went over. "Um, where's the nurse's office?" She asked. She didn't quite know her way around yet.
Shawn was in his room, checking out the settings of his new camera. It could do those old-timey colorings, or make everything all x-ray. He typically only used the most basic settings though.
-
"Mechanic." She corrected him. "At the shop down the street."
They were at her brother's skinny row-house now. She dug the spare key out from the frog statue's open jaws, and unlocked the door. The inside of the house was sparsely decorated, a picture of their family hanging on the wall next to his medical degree. -

OOC: Rosie was speaking to Anabelle a little while ago. :)

OOC: Feel better soon!

"Well, my temperature can get to high degrees, and its typically higher than normal. I can't really control it, it usually responds to my emotions. But I'm mostly not affected by heat or fire." She said. She had thought it over many times when she couldn't sleep.
She looked around in the small open kitchen for food. Her brother typically kept something on hand...Mr. Hill sighed as he turned around to face Luc. "Just for some coffee. What are you doing here?" He asked calmly, motioning the men ahead to the counter. "I was going to meet someone here. Did you perhaps see a young man and woman?" He said, taking a seat opposite her.
-
He studied her for a moment, trying to discern if it was the truth or not. Finally he gave in and snapped for the two goons, who were sipping their lattes, but threw them away as they followed him to the back door and out.
-
-
"You want breakfast?" She called to him, digging a box of cereal out from behind a few cans of soup. Honestly her brother had no life. "It's nearly..." She checked the clock. "Six." Life moved quickly.
-
"The spoons are in the drawer near you." She told him, pouring out the cereal into a pair of bowls. "And if you could push some of my brother's medical books off the chair." A place to sit wasn't required, but preferred. Especially if you just ran away from a very dangerous man. The shock of it all was slowly sinking in.
-
"Yeah, nevermind, it was a silly question." Lucian said, hoping she didn't ask question about what he knew. "But I should still check you over. My house is right around the corner, or would you rather go to your home?"
-
"Don't worry, a patient always comes first, no bother." He told her with a small smile. "If you still need, you can lean on me, but I am just a block around the corner."
-
"Alright." He said, though he kept an eye on her as they walked to his skinny row house. He reached for his keys to unlock the door, then noticed it was already open. Suspicious, he peeked in the window, but saw his sister. Very much relieved, he opened the door, and let the woman through. "Hello, Rosie!" He called, shutting the door behind them. Turning around he saw a man, and froze. "Um. Hello." He managed, off track.

To be clear: Have the Faucon already arrived at the Free base?
-
OOC: Track until later.
