He cackles joyfully. "You want to mate~ with her~ !!" He sang, laughing his butt off.

    Crack!

"...Eh?" Farlow peered upwards curiously as splinters rained down. His branch... was breaking. "Holy cr-" it broke off, sending him plummeting down to the ground below, screeching. He snagged in a leafy branch a few meters under him, landing on the plushy ground with a "woof!"

"Oooooohhhhhhh OOOOOooooowwwwwWWWWW!!" He whined, cradling his side. His ears pressed against the flat of his head in pain, and he whimpered. "I got a boo-boo!" He wailed, pulling up his shirt.

A small cut on his side oozed a drop of blood. He whimpered, and curled up into a little ball again. "No! I don't want to see blood."

He sat up and Falcon punched him. "Shut up! I have to live with the sickening reek, you Eef-ing Beep!" He screeched. Suddenly, he was thrown forwards, and burrowed a few feet in the ground a ways away.

Ashley glowered at him, a dark Aura surrounding her. She lowered her fist where she punched the back of his head. She crickled her nose. "You are all. going. to die."

The humans called it 'Apocalypse.' "The end of the world," they whisper, huddled around their fires. They wander now, from place to place, and you almost never see a large pack of them anymore. The land became cold, and food became hard to find. Snow that came up to your neck, making your ears clogged and your paws stiff, was everywhere. Everyone who could was making their way someplace warmer.

I was following my two Humans, following them in the direction they called South, and they did not pay attention to the boundaries of others. We crossed into other dog's territories, we crossed into other human's territories, and we were far, far from home. And then we stopped, and they told me to stay put in the little half-caved-in human home we had took shelter in that night. They both went out, and I, being a good pup, stayed behind and waited for them to come back.

I waited, and I waited. But they didn't come back. And I still wait, though by now the urge to find some place warmer is becoming stronger. But I sit by the half-entrance to that ruined house; I never try to stray too far, just in case they come back. Even when I know that they won't.

(Creepy walkers...? You mean zombies? And dang! I forgot to add the whole female bit...)

I blink a few times, sure that- no, It must be what the humans call day-dream. But I turn my head, and there's this little... well, it's not a pup, I don't think so, surely it's a small dog, but I haven't seen a dog just that small. Though, even if it is or isn't a pup, it's most likely a fearsome little thing to not be lying dead someplace. And... it's wearing a collar.

It probably has a person nearby, which is strange because I don't smell anyone. I wag my tail in greetings at her, but otherwise stay still. I don't think she would come over, so it's not worth it to get up.

(I didn't consider adding zombies into the rp, but I guess they'll work in well enough. Also, maybe I should switch to 3rd person, huh?)

"You mean the corpses that walk around and eat everything?" She chuffed, looking at the little dog. Her tail stopped wagging, and fell to the ground. "I just hide and they usually go away. But sometimes they don't and I have to lead them on a chase. They're not good at playing chase, so I just come back and wait for my person." After saying that part about them not being good at playing, she felt like that came out incredible naive. She shook it off, though, and looked down at the little collar the other dog had. "Where's your person?"

"I-" She stopped short, and decided to not say what ever she was going to. "I'm sorry." She said instead. "I don't know what else to do. I've always had my people before this, and..." She trailed off, realizing something. "They try to...?" She may be young, but she could still connect the dots! Maybe the small dog was right; perhaps it wouldn't be good if her people came back.

"Will they really eat me?" What a distressing thought...

She startled, and jumped to her feet. She twirls, trying to watch the small dog as she circled. She ended up making herself dizzy, and sat down abruptly. "O-oh! Okay. I don't like za- zambies! That's what they're called?"

Talk about a mood flip. This dog was the most unusual dog she's met- which really wasn't saying much, since she only knew her mom and her siblings. But! She seemed fun, maybe? And she said she could... stay with her. That would be nice. This dog was nice. "But what's your name?"

"Food would be nice," she agrees happily. She was still trying to wrap her head around the whole situation. "They- I'm called Rivet. Or Darling. Which ever one you like." She gets up and starts pacing in circles around the s- Arty. Then she hears something, and she suddenly freezes. She perks her ears, and looks around. She scoots a bit closer to Arty. "What was that?"'

"Another dog," Rivet (I guess that's the decided name?) noted the obvious. She flinched when the husky let out a howl. There seemed to be a lot of dogs around all at once; she's not run into a dog since her people left, so this was new and frightening. She immediately thought that the new dog seemed just as nice, but she was bigger, and probably older. Was she calling a meaner dog over?

Worried and a bit scared of the surplus of people (though two was not many in actuality), she slunk a few feet closer to her bolt-hole. With two other dogs here, and what seemed to be another nearby, it was always a good option to have a hiding place- in her mind, at least.

Unsure if she should go towards the howl and away from the others, or stay away from the howl and stick with the others, Rivet just decided to sit down and watch Shelby with a reproachful eye. This total stranger came up and greeted her without so much as an exchanged name, and now she was... howling at some one else.

The Unseen's howl sounded sad, and Rivet plastered her ears against her skull in confliction. She was a social softy at heart.

(We are NOT in a barn, and really what's with all the dead people?)

Rivet jumper out of her fur when someone started howling right nearby. By the northern paw, how many dogs were in the area that she had no idea about?! Startled and confused, she dived under a near-by evergreen bush to cower.

Content with shivering underneath the scratching branches, she peered suspiciously around for anybody else she missed. "Who- who ever else's there better show themselves or I- I'll... um..." She fell silent, trying to figure out what she could do that sounded like a threat.
