The singing awakes me immediately. The one thing that I love about sailing is the sea shanties. I got up, and almost stumbled, but I managed to keep to I feet, and walk towards the first mate quarters.

Annicka waited outside. She wore a camp tshirt underneath her jean vest. Her turquoise pants complimented her brown eyes well, an unusual match.

Tigerstripe was a good cat. Relatively. He was a loyal clanmate, and kind to his clan as well. He was a bit of a hotheaded vain cat, but everyone had their flaws. As for Henry, he was sensitive and kind. He wasn't always the smartest, but he was braver than any cat you'll meet.

"Attention on deck!" He heard an officer call. Everyone became silent, their hands in salute.
The officer inspected all of them, before saying "At ease." And the singing continued. -

He pulled out his penny whistle, and began playing a lively tune on it, near her room so he knew she could hear.

I guess she doesn't like music then. He thought, feeling slightly disappointed as he began a different song. This one was a lament, a sad slow tune.

He glared at her angrily, but said nothing. He could hear the crew that was dancing to his music groan in disappointment before they all headed down to the lower decks.

ic~ That's actually not trueat allmuch. Because Jacky Faber is an adventuress. She is in love with a boy that she hardly ever sees because she's always getting her self into trouble. First on the ship, than in school, than on another ship in France, etc. Plus she was originally a shipsboy, and never got to fullfill her rank as Midshipmen. So it's different. Similiar. But Different.

Many men on the ship were running in chaotic frightened circles. A large black ship on the horizon was coming steadily closer, a skull and cross bone flag hung high on their sails.
