James followed Andi, and when she stripped, he didn't seem to care. He took off his own dirty clothes and rummaged through the drawer for some clean ones. He found some large grey sweats and slipped them on over his boxers. He then slipped under the covers with Andi and fell asleep immediately.

Today, Jim drove Andy to school. They shared the time in a comfortable silence, only sharing a few words. They arrived at school early and Andy waited in the car for a few minutes before getting out and walking into school, heading straight to his locker, then to his first class.

James was woken up immediately by Andi's yell. He looked around, panicking as too why Andi's warm body wasn't next to him. He stumbled out of the bed and ran around to the other side, relieved that she was there. James ran to her side and gently turned her over. He knelt next to her whispering things like, "It's ok", "Shhhhh shhhh shhhh", and just holding her in his lap and hugging her to hi chest. He tried as hard as he could to everything in his power to comfort Andi.

    ((What's ts? ConfUsiOn....))

Andy continued to sleep, obviously. He'd sometimes wake up, but then he'd fall right back asleep, thinking fondly of Jayden. A though he thought of Jayden as he slept, Andy dreampt about his family and he shuddered in his sleep.

((Okey dokey, glad to know that.))

Anastasia shrugged with Levi. "Hmm. Ok then," she said, going along with it, although she sensed something slightly that was wrong. She ignored the feeling, going with the knowledge that angels are bright, good, non-lying beings. She glanced at the bedside table, then quickly looked back at Levi, her face expressionless. "So how come you aren't in heaven? Why are you here?" She asked, earnestly wanting to know the answer. She scooted a little closer to the angel, following her instincts that being close to an angel would make you feel better.

((Aaaaaaah that makes sense... Okey dokey then))

Andy woke up the next morning- 5:00 sharp, like usual. He decided he just felt like staying home today, so he called the manager of the cafe and told him, then drove to the cafe, opening it up for the manager. He then drove back home and quickly whipped up some chocolate chip pancakes. He put two on a plate for himself, then sat down at the table, eating drowsily.

((Only more than satisfactory? Gee thanks! XD But seriously, thank you! That kinda means a lot because you're such a great RPer.))

Anastasia crossed her arms and pouted at his words. "But I want to know noooow!" She whined. "And you don't need to protect me or make me happier. I'm. Perfectly. Fine." She quickly turned away from Levi, accidentally slapping him in the face with the end of her long orange braid. She turned around again just as fast to see if he was ok and, in her rush, she slapped him the other way with her braid. Anastasia covered her mouth as she laughed silently for the first time in a very long time. Between breathy gasps, Anastasia managed to spit out an apology.

Andy finished the first pancake and without a pause, started working on the next one, munching almost robotically. Man, he loved chocolate chip pancakes. They were totally the best. Who even likes blueberry pancakes anymore. Obviously not Andy- he's too cool for that. Anyway, he finished the pancake and got up, deciding between not eating any more and going to check on Jayden, or eating two more pancakes. The choice was obvious. Andy served himself two more pancakes and sat down again, enjoying every bit of the taste bud heaven.

Anastasia shrugged. "Doesn't matter much," she said, letting Levi undo the braid. Her hair was naturally wavy- but unlike some other girls, the waves were big instead of small. She also had a long braid, so with it undone, her hair was just past her tush. Anastasia's hair grows really fast, and she hasn't had a proper haircut since he died. She sat patiently, waiting for Levi to pull off the hair tie and undo the braid.

    ((Awwww thanksy!~ :-[))

James continued to rock Andi making shhh noises. "It's ok, it's perfectly fine, don't apologize," he murmured softly. He rested his forehead on the top of Andi's head. He slipped an arm under Andi's knees and lifted her up bridal style. He then gently rested her on the bed and pulled the covers over her body. He sta on the edge of the bed, watching over her.

James smiled back sweetly. He takes her hand and kisses it, like gentlemen used to do when meeting a lady. All the while he kept his eyes on Andi's face. He slowly lifted his head up again and whispers, "I am at your service, my fair lady." James leans forward and envelopes Andi in a warm hug, sensing that she needed one.

"Morning, sunshine," Andy said through a mouthful of chocolate chip pancake. He looked back down at his food, almost finished with the first pancake on his second serving. He would probably be going up for thirds when he finished his second serving. He ate up the rest of the pancake quickly, now moving on to the second pancake of the second serving.

    ((Xander again, huh?))

Andy sat down in the chair he had sat in yesterday. He started tapping his foot, already counting down the hours, then minutes until the end of school. He sighed as he realized that he wouldn't have anybody to hang out with after school- or at lunch. He put his head on his desk and watched lazily as students started to fill the classroom.

Andy impatiently counted down the minutes until school ended. He glanced down at the worksheet the teacher had given the class, then he looked back at the clock, then out the window, where it was bright and sunny. The warmth called to him and he had the immense urge to run, but held himself down by looking at the worksheet and easily figuring out the answers.

Anastasia looked around the room. "Maybe in the bathroom," she suggested, getting up an walking into the bathroom attached to her room. She quickly scanned the room, finding it on a dusty shelf. She went up on her tippy-toes and reached up, grabbing the brush. She looked it over, blowing and wiping the dust off as she went. She handed the brush to Levi, a little confused as to why he wanted it. His hair already looked perfect- why would he need to brush it? Anastasia mentally shrugged it off. Maybe he really cared about how his hair looked. She sat down in from of him again, swiping a couple strands of hair away from her face and behind her ears. The hair started to come over her shoulders as she slouched, slowly getting everywhere, although in tangled copper clumps. Annoyed, Anastasia pushed the hair back behind her. It wasn't just because of her depression that had caused her to just keep the hair constricted in a braid.

Andy nodded, although he seemed to have second thoughts when he looked down at his own pancakes. He then returned to eating the large, plate-sized pancakes without a single word or noise.

"Hmm. Pretty," Anastasia said after she had looked in a mirror. "But," she sighed softly. "I don't deserve pretty." And with that, she walked into the bathroom and got another hair tie, gathering up the rest of the hair and putting it in a low ponytail, although she did leave the braids, not having the heart to undo them after Levi had taken the time to do that just for her. She then looked Levi up and down. "You must be tired. Go and rest now," she said softly, walking to the entrance of her room and opening the door for Levi.

When Levi's words started to get harsher, Anastasia shrunk in on herself, her eyes widening slightly in surprise and a little bit of fear. Tears started to form in her eyes, but she dared not blink. She took a step back instinctively and almost tripped on a book that was sitting on the floor. She stumbled, but righted herself before she could fall. She opened her mouth to speak, but Levi continued talking with no sign of stopping soon, so she closed her mouth, blinking. When she blinked, the tears were freed and began flowing down her pale cheeks, slowly at first, then accumulating more speed as the seconds ticked by of Levi's ranting. When he finished, Anastasia just kind of stood there quietly, staring at Levi. "Bu- Bu- But I k- k- killed him..." She stammered out, trying her hardest to not start wailing like a little baby.
