Conquista paused to think. "I picked up on it's scent when I was walking to my den. I went beyond the brush behind my den, and I think I may have spotted some abandoned shacks. Now that I think about, considering I could smell this all the way from behind the brush, what if that is the fresh scent of the humans?" The spaniel felt herself immediately getting into defense mode.
"Azteca, I would suggest that we scout the area beyond our borders." Conquista knew that the pack would soon awake to begin their festivities, but what if there are humans? And what if they have heard the music? That could be why the humans returned, if they did. She knew the humans were vary interested in things not of their nature, like Bigfoot and Nessie. Humans were relentless when it came to that stuff, and they would often make entertainment out of their 'expeditions'. Conquista began to feel anxious. She'd dealt with the humans before, and she did not want them near the pack.

Vitta huffed at the wolf, obviously annoyed that her words were being used against her. The fox trotted into a more appropriate area for the meeting and took a seat, cushioning herself with her long tails.
Conquista stood idly, attempting to lock into the scent of the rock to remember. It might come in handy later. The spaniel observed the pack members, noticing how some were groggy, some excited, but the latter were most likely nervous.

Conquista stood, eyeing the remaining pack members. The spaniel began observing the different statures of the individuals, already debating where each member should be assigned. She looked over towards at Vitta and inwardly sighed when she noticed the fox stayed.

Vitta huffed. She knew that she couldn't stand being of lower status, but she had stayed to do her duty as a warrior. Since when did duty ever matter to her? If only she was back in her homeland; she would never go outside again! The fox did have a slight amount of respect for Conquista (and Azteca, but she's not to familiar with her backstory), even though she'd never admit it. They had worked their way up, while Vitta had been born into power. She snapped out of her thoughts when she realized she might ignore any commands given. Since when did she take commands?! She was still getting used to her lowly status.

Conquista pricked her ears forward at the mention of her name. "So far, only a few have actually stayed. Vitta, Mannequin, and Morkai-" The spaniel looked around for Morkai, only to see him off in the distance heading for the water. "Well, looks like we only have Vitta and Mannequin. Well, I can lead you to the area where I found the rock, and then we can split up."

Vitta did not want to have to travel with these individuals, and she already regretted staying. Letting out another huff, she spoke up. "What are we gonna do with the stone-y thing?"

Vitta almost felt like running. Almost. She and Conquista had encountered humans before. Ever since they left their sacred, secluded homeland and ventured into the real world, they saw humans everywhere. Large buildings, moving vessels of steel on land, and glass lights! For Conquista and Vitta, it was extreme culture shock, considering they lived like the romans. Ever since the day the Humans drove Conquista's land into the ground(metaphorically), the spaniel vowed to turn their two legs into no legs. Vitta agreed. If it wasn't for those humans, she'd still be living like a queen.

Conquista felt her face twitch. "Mannequin. This is no time for you to act coy. Be on alert; Azteca, if you don't mind me saying, moveo, signo sequute*."
Her old instincts from her General days were coming out, and she knew she wouldn't let any human hide from her nose. Or her teeth. The spaniel, without waiting on the others, immediately went for her den to put on her armor. While some might worry that her metal armor would be loud and distracting, Conquista knew how to be as silent as a lynx while wearing. She had been wearing it for over 2 thousand years. She began pushing the brush out of the way behind her den, starting her trek towards the destination where she found that damned rock.

(OOC: So, what should happen now?)
Conquista followed the strong scent leading to the area where she found the rock. She paused before exiting the thick brush, "Azteca, this is were I found the stone. I think I see some smoke coming from that area over by the shack. It may be inhabited."

Vitta gulped. She'd always let Conquista deal with any humans they had passed on their way here, but she, personally, has never confronted one. She had never dealt with anything like this in her previous life. She let out a quiet shaky breath. Think of your happy place, just think of your happy place.

OOC: That sounds like a great idea. Idk if you wan't one of your characters to get taken too, so I just left this open for interpretation.

"The must be smelting more ore like what we found; the smoke must be masking their scent," the spaniel let out a breath. Conquista cautiously eyed the shack, searching for any movement when a miniature breed of human clumsily stumbled out. She quickly snapped at everyone to be quiet and stay low and lowered herself closer towards the ground.

These * tails! Vitta became very worried, noticing how her tails seemed to sway on their own. The fox's tails were very out of place. While all the other members seemed to blend in with the dark and light tones of the grass, Vitta's red coat stood out like a sore paw. Her tails would occasionally sway to high, causing her to freeze in fear; however, it seemed it didn't go unspotted.

The young child began romping towards the brush, and Conquista quickly let out a command to disband and hide, but Vitta just froze. Before she knew it, some child was tugging at her tails and attempting to pick her up.

Conquista cursed. More than once. Quickly and quietly maneuvering through the brush, the spaniel whispered to the other members, "do not go after her. We can't risk getting captured ourselves." She was unaware if she was heard.

[font=times new roman][size=10] Conquista let out a deep growl. Mid growl, she thought of a plan. "Mannequin, I need you to let out the loudest, meanest growl you can muster. Hide in the bushes, and only let your teeth be seen," the spaniel ordered, beginning to let out her own deep growl(even though springers are like, 20 inches tall, the have incredibly deep voices. It's so adorable). Conquista figured she wouldn't look as menacing as a big black wolf, otherwise she would have done it herself. Hopefully if things work out right, the children would leave Azteca, and Vitta too, I guess, alone.

"Well *. This calls for drastic measures. I guess we have to confront them." Conquista knew that these were human pups, and she didn't want to waste getting her armor filthy. She silently slipped the armor off and hid it in the distance. Seeing the child's grip tighten, Conquista decided to bring out her little friend. Rage syndrome.
"Mannequin, I need you to bite me." It would only take her a few seconds to go ballistic, but in those few seconds, she needed to get over to the children. Rage syndrome is a genetic condition, where a trigger causes a dog(usually a springer or cocker spaniel) to go ballistic. Her rage syndrome was often something Conquista used during battles back in her Imperial Legate days, but due to her immortality, she has a bit of control over her rage. She has some sense of what's going on, and if needed, she can try and restrain herself, although its very difficult.
"You can follow my lead, or close your eyes, but I can't promise these kids will leave without some blood."

Conquista winced at the bite, and in a second, the spaniel ran as fast as she could towards the shack. She felt her eyes glaze over and a growl rising from the bottom of her chest. Saliva dripped from her mouth, and she bared her teeth towards the small child. In a startling dash, the spaniel sped towards the child, causing the human pup's eyes to widen in fear. The human pup seemed to drop Vitta and immediately ran towards the door to the shack, shouting in a different language.

"Dad! There's a mean doggie trying to hurt me!"

An older looking human came out, holding a strange metal contraption. Upon noticing the dog, the older human aimed his metal contraption towards her, putting pressure on a small trigger of sorts. A flying object grazed across Conquista's shoulder, but her adrenaline masked the pain. The spaniel dashed towards the door and latched onto the human's covered leg. The scuffle between her and the male human allowed enough time for Azteca to get out of the door, which Vitta clearly took note of.

"Azteca! Quick, get out!" The fox hurried towards Conquista, extending her tails; one to wrap around Conquista's muzzle, another to wrap around her torso, and lastly, one to wrap around her neck. The fox tugged at the rabid dog until the human was free of her grasp, and then Vitta quickly tried to take off towards the brush. Dragging the spaniel with her.

Vitta had encountered the "rage" that the spaniel broke into before. It usually took a few seconds, but Conquista would soon return to normal, as long as she wasn't bothered. She struggled against the hold of Vitta's tails, biting them in a frenzy each time one tightened it's hold. One the fox had drug Conquista into the brush, she allowed her tails to multiply, creating a cage of-sorts to prevent anything from re-triggering Conquista. Vitta's ears picked up on the elder man speaking.

"By God, that was the devil's dog!"

OOC: Sorry if that seemed like too much... I just wasn't sure how this scene should go, so I just used my plan B. Make Conquista go ballistic. If I need to change something, I can.

OOC: Sorry, I just disappeared... But I'm back, also sorry for the uneventful post...

Upon seeing the canines in between the slits of the tail-cage-thing, Conquista began to emit a low growl; however, the coughing fit that followed broke her out of her trance. "Hack. Holy- cough shi*- cough am I- gasp-old." The spaniel caught her breath, looking at the returned leader. "Oh hey, you're back. I woukd suggest we high-tail it back to the camp and -speaking of tails- VITTA YOU BETTER UNRAVEL YOUR DAM* TAIL CAGE BEFORE I CHEW THEM OFF!"

"Yea, yea, whatever." The fox freed the angry spaniel with a laugh, "I see you still haven't recovered."

"I haven't what? Recovered? Well obviously not, I mean there's blood on my shoulder, I- Why is there blood on my shoulder?" Conquista whipped her head to the side to get a better look at her shoulder. Eh, tis' but a scratch, she thought, remembering her days of war. "Anyway, is everyone okay?"

OOC: We both disappeared to alternate dimensions. Also, I just need to scream for a minute. E3. ZELDA. BREATH OF THE WILD. E3. NINTENDO. WHYYYYYYYYYYYYY?!?!?!?!?!?! okay im cool.

"Well, good ol' Conquista here decided it'd be fun to go maw some children and their parents," Vitta turned an accusing glance towards Mannequin, "Did you bite her?"

"Oh *. . ." Conqusita looked at the ground. "Well *. Yea, sorry about that. It seemed I forgot to mention I may have a slight genetic problems that the gods decided to bestow in me. I do not remember what happened, but that does explain the wound. And my go**amn aching leg; nice bite, Mannequin." She could already feel the old trainee instructor coming out in her, but she quickly repressed that before going into a lecture about PSI and attack techniques. "Now that we have all the 'are-you-okay''s out of the way, how about we leave now?"

OOC: So, uh, what happens next? (Sorry my post was kinda rushed, idk why, I just rushed.)
