Vera, a shiny Flygon, had watched this happen. She narrowed her eyes flicked her long tail.

Vera stood motionless and sad on the edge of a cliff. Her trainer had pasted and released her. They were the best of friends, and her original trainer was the champion of the Hoenn region.

"No, I' not okay" Vera sighed now looking down. She looked at her arm, it was covered with battle scars. Ones that brought great memories back.

"Just watching the sunset" Vera answered, sounding lifeless.

"Go ahead" Vera replied. She felt invisible tears starting to fall.

"M-my Trainer-" She paused and sighed deeply "Died..."

"You don't have to be. It isn't your fault" Vera said. Glancing over at the Noivern.

History: When Dim was a pup, he was the runt. His bigger litter-mates made fun of him. But that inspired Dim to train harder, and then he became the biggest out of the litter.

Vera sighed, she thought nothing could help her.

Vera perked a little and looked at Soul and Rowdy. She sighed again.

Dim padded out of his den, a growl rumbled deep within his throat. He perked his ears and saw Jewel. He gave her a quick glare before walking over to where Bite was playing by herself. "Good morning Bite" Dim greeted his adopted pup. "Hi Dim..." Bite muttered.

"My trainer died" Vera replied.

"That is part of it" Vera said with another depressed sigh. Jen... I wish you would come back and stay with me... Vera thought.

Smile, a Crazyish Zoura, saw the fire. "Um... Oh dear." Smile said, through part of his mouth. "That probably isn't good." He then smiled again and said "As long as no one isn't smiling, my work here is done!" He then trotted away in the opposite direction.

Smile looked over at the other Pokemon. I believe they are not smiling... Meh. Smile knew he wasn't following his vow, but after all, meh.
