Lily was stunned. "Oh mai gosh. Did they find out?" The she-cat had questioned. The white she-cat had nugded the cailco (?) tom cat and gazed at her paws. She didn't want them to stop seening each other. Lily had meowed again, "Well, today before i came here, i almost got a robin" She lifted her chin to the sky like she was proud of herself.

"Hey, wait up!" Dean heard Sliverpaw's voice behind her. Abandoning the race idea he slowed his pace until he matched; The sliver apprentice step for step. "So where is this pool" he asked his eyes scanning the horizon.

"See that hill over there?" Dean asked "It's in the hollow just beyond it."He nodded his head at the crest to their left and they changed direction. Dean turned his head to say something to Sliverpaw but he stopped short whenshe saw how cold he looked. Impulsively he stepped closer until his fur brushed against his. "Body heat, right?" He said as they came over the hills crest. Dean gazed at his favorite hunting ground, it had a small pool in the center and was ringed by about a dozen trees and a few bushes. It had almost every kind of prey a cat could eat and even in the winter there was prey to be found there. "So," He asked suddenly feeling self conscious "How do you like it?"

Dean had tickled Russetkit with his tail.

Dean had smiled at the tom kit as he rose to his paws. "Well, Willowpelt, im getting tired. im gonna go." The tom had meowed to the she-cat. He turned to the tom kit. "Bye Russetkit." He meowed.

Dean frowned at Thunderfur and looked at Russetkit. "Your not old enought to come out of the Nursery"

Dean had nudged the kits head and padded off.

Lily had sighn "Thats good." She rubbed herself onto Windpaw.

[size=2]Dean glanced at Sliverpaw trying to see what he thought of his favorite place. No one else in the clan knew about this place,well no one besides in StarClan, and he didn't think he could bear it if he didn't like it as much as he did. Sliverpaws eyes had grown wide as he began padding down to the pool. "It's so cool! Pretty, too!" he exclaimed. Dean let out a soft trill of happiness, partly because he was in his favorite place again but mostly because Sliverpaw liked it as much as he did. "So how did you find this place?" he had turned to him when he spoke. Everything from his tone of voice to the look in his eyes showed how happy this place made him.

Dean was going to say he just found it one day, but he decided that Sliverpaw deserved the real story. "My mother Snowflake ,she died before you were born, showed it to me when I had trouble catching rabbits. This was her favorite place and she taught me everything from battle moves to fishing here." Dean stopped and took a ragged sobbing breath, Snowflake's memory was still painful and her joy at coming here was always tempered with a sense of loss. "She- she always said that this was a place where new things began and grew strong."[/size]

Cinderwing had padded itno the camp with three voles in her mouth.

"Well, I guess I can cry in camp," Dean said forcing himself to sound upbeat, "But our Clanmates will think fine of us if we come back to camp empty pawed, How about we catch that fish?" Dean had walked into the Nursery as he held a pure black kit in his jaws. "Doesn't anyone want to keep care of his kit?" He meowed, no answer. He looked at Willowpelt and put it down as he sat down. Dean had looked at the kit whom he had named Moonkit. "Will-" She was talking but then she stopped after the Appretinces were whispering. Dean had padded over to her and nudged him. "This is moonkit." He meowed

The pure black kit had wiggled and followed Dean aross to him. "Hi," She had meowed, her dark blue eyes where like black. The black cat had glanced at the other kits, there younger then me She thought and shugged.

Dean had looked at Foxkit and Featherkit and shoke his head. "I eat little kits." He grinned and joked around. He lokoed at Willowpelt and waited.
