"come on!" i whined, head against the stone wall of the tower, "why doesn't this damn thing have a door!?" i had felt the starting of rain patter down and, frying pan in hand for self defense, had wandered around to try and find somewhere to stay. but of course, the only place i could actually drag myself to happened to have no door. and i bet it would've been warm too...
i decided to give it one more attempt, looking upwards and spotting a window. 'aha! genius-lizzie strikes again!'
"hey! if anybody's in there, can i join you? it's bloody cold out 'ere!" besides, if there was nobody in there i could just climb my way up anyway.
