"Your friend Kido, I think she might end up... you know." Those words and Kano's screams leaked into his ears and never went out, echoing around inside his mind as Seto stared blankly up at the screen, even after it had gone dark. Slowly, he hung his head. "Shut up." Lifting it, he glared at the witch who had grabbed Kano and treated him so harshly, his eyes a rare maroon color, different from what they had been before. "Shut up, and don't you dare do so much as lift a finger in his durection one more time. Don't. Touch. Kano." He didn't do anything other than let them know he was seroous by the intonation in his words as he walked after Kano, and stopped him by grabbing his shoulder. "Kano," he breathed, closing his eyes and taking in a deep breath. "...She could be trying to trick us." When he opened his eyes, tears were welling up in them, the red color faded back to brown.

Mihashi, the small boy with the frizzy orange hair and the baseball hat and bat was barely standing, his knees and lips trembling as if he stood on the epicenter of an earthquake. "Th-th-th-that girl...!! Sh-sh-she's...! C-c-covered in... I-in blood...!" He slapped a hand over his mouth to keep himself from screaming, squeezing his eyes shut tight as they watered heavily in fear. "She's going to kill us...! Sh-she...!"

Mamoru glanced nervously between the other active members of the group, the door, and the tunnel he'd found. "If we split up, what would she do to us...?" He turned his head to look back at the tunnel, frowning. "He's right. The tunnel looks like it will lead deeper, but that could just be to trick us into choosing the door...." The brown haired boy bit his lip, looking back up to Seto and Kano, shrugging. "I just have a bad feeling about that door, too...."

Seto nodded, following close behind Kano, keeping a loose grip on his 'brother' on his arm. "Then I'm going with you," he murmured, nearly into his ear, using his other hand to wipe away a stray tear or two from his gentle face. "Don't worry, alright? We're going to find Kido. She's alright, she's just waiting for us to come and get her out of here." Still... How could she have been caught when she could have easily used her eye power to hide or flee?

Mamoru furrowed his brows beneath his auburn bangs as he watched the others start to file through the door, assuming he had been ignored. "...This isn't going to work." He sighed, and looked down at his feet. If that girl had kidnapped someone the others knew.... Could she possibly have Maria? His heart stopped in his chest at the thought as he began to imagine Maria, tied and bound, covered in her own blood, the life draining from her warm gaze....
He let out a brief shriek, gripping his head and tugging at his curled hair. "No...!" He looked up to the others, scrambling back up onto his feet to follow them through the door. "W-we have to find her...! She has to be okay...!"

The timid baseball player simply kept his bat close to his chest, eyeing both the door and the tunnel nervously. If he were to go alone, he'd get killed for sure, but he couldn't help but wonder just where that tunnel went, or if it really went anywhere at all. He'd never forgive himself if he spoke up and somehow lead someone to their death, so he decided to keep his head down and follow the group silently.

Seto nodded, staying close to Kano, especially as the last of the group started waking up via shouts and screams. "Yeah.... I guess she could have, if she's a ghost...."
