IC: Rowanpaw shot his paw out as a fish flew by, riding the current. His paw plunged into the cold water and he yowled, surging backward onto the bank "it's so cold!" he snarled "how could any cat do this?" But, nonetheless the Shadow Clan cat trotted back to the creek, shaking out his wet paws and joining the fishing contest once again. After getting used to the cold water, the Shadow Clan cat had managed to catch 2 fish an, getting hungry ate one of them. Great He though grumpily now I need to get more fish And so Rowanpaw went back to work.

IC:Shadowpaw strode up to Lightningpaw and Timberpaw"want to go hunting with me and Leafpaw." He said, a hint of a challenge in his voice. Leafpaw inclined his head "I want to get to know the cats in this clan and, what better way to do that then start with the cats Shadowpaw makes fun of and make them feel appreciated." He glared pointedly at Shadowpaw who stared at the smaller tom till Leafpaw turned his head and focused back on Lightningpaw "Timberpaw can come as well" Shadowpaw snorted "Great! Both of the shorties! Now the mice won't know what's hunting them, a small vole or their own kind!" The apprentice storde off with a snort of disgust. Leafpaw stretched up and whispered in Lightningpaw's ear "If it makes you feel any better, I think you're really tall compared to me. That cat is just mad because his mom thinks he's to unskilled to become a warrior. But, you didn't hear it from me." He strode off before calling over his shoulder "Are you coming or not?" Not waiting for an answer he bounded over to the crack in the rock that marked the entrance to their clan and squeezed through into the light.

Leafpaw pricked his ears as he heard scuffling among the leafs, following the sound he walked over to a small gap in the tightly clustered trees where the scent was coming from. He emerged into a small copse and saw a small stream that ran into a stone hollow full of lilypads, and there was the fattest rabbit he had ever seen in his life! It was nibbling on the juicy grass. IC: Shadowclaw stood still as Timberpaw ran away with Lightningpaw on her tail. A tail brushed his pelt, "What did you just do Shadowclaw?" a voice as cold as winter said in his ear. He whipped around, his tail bushed and then saw with dread his mother had seen the whole thing. "I....don't...know?" he said cursing himself for stuttering. "You have made two cats who have done nothing but try to help their clan and become warriors feel horrible because they can't control their size!" His mother was furious, her pelt bristling and her voice rising with each word she said. "I can't believe my own son is making fun of two cats that he could very well be as small as!" Shadowclaw felt anger boiling up inside him and then he burst. "They are to small to become warriors and they are weak and helpless, they might as well get killed! They've done nothing but apprentice tasks their whole life and they weren't born into the clan!" Skystar snarled in fury "How dare you accuse them for the path Star Clan has laid out for them! You weren't born into the clan as well! Your father was a rouge and so was I, now your father is gone and I have happened to start a clan that you lived in!" Shadowclaw snarled "i don't have time to listen to this." He stalked away.

IC: Shadowclaw heard someone cry out in pain from the medicine den. He scrambled to his paws, groggy from sleep. "What is that." he murmured then, staggered out of the warriors den. When he passed by his mother, he gave her a nod but, in return she snarled back before turning away.
Leafpaw looked out of his den, relived to see that Timberpaw was alright and her leg was set back into place. He gazed up at the darkening sky and padded of to the fresh-kill pile. Skystar was sitting by her den. "Mind if we share a piece of prey?" He asked trotting over and scooping up a pigeon. Setting it donw and beginning to eat.
Skystar purred "I ould love to." And she leaned down to take a bite.

IC: Fernkit woke up, her body sluggish with sleep. She staggered to her feet and got out of the nest, walking out of the entrance quietly so no one could hear her. I should probably apologize to Lightningpaw and Timberpaw he thought. Then he decided to and padded to the apprentices den. I hope they accept my apology he thought, knowing they had no reson top feel sorry towards him.
