Mello walked up to Leafdapple, shaking his head as if trying in vain to clear his thoughts as he replyed. "Ok, basically, Bloodclan's territory overlapped Cloudclan's, so they decided to merge. There will be a joint leadership, and one single deputy." He meowed, summarizing what had just happened.

    ------------

Bloodstar walked over to where Mello and Cherrydapple where standing. "So basically, we have to figure out whether to have one medicine cat or two, whether they can both have apprentices, we'll have to make all the dens bigger, and we'll have to decide what to teach the apprentices." He breathed. "But, we'll have a stronger attack force, more fresh kill, and warmer dens to come back to at the end of the day." He meowed, raising a few of cheerful heads.

Username(The one you log in with): Akianare
Screen Name(What you're known as): Akianare
    Cat's Name: Mello
Cat's Desired position (If apprentice, please say who you want your mentor to be): Loner, joining Cloudclan. (Don't change his name pls.)
Cat's personality (Two+ sentences):Mello is a cat of many faces. He can be anything he wants, or needs, to be. If he;s not acting, he's usually snarky, rude, or just plain overconfident. While very self confident, he is also very strong in battle, a fast thinker, and a great strategist.
Cat's appearance (Please make it realistic! No hot pink fur, etc.): Red eyes. Black fur. Naturally elongated claws. The tip of his tail a bright red.
Cat's history (Two+ sentences): Mello was once part of a dangerous clan, called Boneclan. They ate their victims, killing who ever dared opposed them. The bravest warriors fought to the death for a higher place in their clan, ripping the victim's teeth out for a trophy. The more sets of teeth the cat had, the higher rank they were. Mello grew up here, but he hated how this place worked, these cannibalistic cats everyday tearing into a new victim. He ran away once he knew how to fight and survive on his own. He was later captured by a twoleg who conducted terrible experiments on him, trying to make him a were-cat by force. It worked, but not in the way it was supposed to. In addition to a human body, he gained wings, superhuman strength, speed, and amazing agility as well as heightened senses. When he was set free to die on his own, he not only gained all these things, but the twolegs did not realize what they had done. Twenty years later, he finally realized what else the twolegs had done. He had gained immortality. He is now 47 years old.

"Well, since this clearing is almost midway between the two, then the Graveclan camp is about the same distance, in the opposite direction." Bloodstar replied, marking another 'x' in the area where the Graveclan camp would be. Marking a large circle around the 'x', about a tail length in diameter, he said,"And this is our territory."

    ((What is your siggy frommmmmmmmmmmmmm)) ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ???

Yawning, Mello stood up, flicking his tail in the direction of the Cloudclan camp. "We may as well help, though I have to say I'm not too happy about it. I'll go on my own to gather some brambles and moss for nests, I'll try to hunt while I'm out." He meowed. "And don't worry, I will be back." he added, glancing meaningfully at the leaders, seeing as Bloodstar looked as though he was about to rebuke the cat for making these decisions on his own.

After he had gotten a good distance away from the clearing, he settled down in a hollow near a small stream, thinking hard on what he was going to do about these clan cats. They worked together, and though he had been with clans before, and understood their ways, Boneclan had been nothing like this, and he was getting uncomfortable.

As he sat thinking, he heard a rustling in the bushes outside his well concealed hideout, startling him. Jumping up, he snapped his head in the direction of the out of place sound. "Who's there?" He called, scenting the air for a familiar smell. "As alert as ever, Mello. I should have known I couldn't sneak up on you." said a small gray cat, his fur slightly transparent, and sparkling. His eyes shone like stars, glittering with cheer in the afternoon sun. His paws were slightly raised off the ground, and if Mello tried hard enough, he could see through the shifting, misty patterns that were starting to make his head pound.

"W-Who are you?" Mello stuttered, silently cursing his voice for skipping. "I am Forlorn. Short for Forlorn Wail of the Sea. I am an old cat, older than you, in fact. Yes Mello I know of your unnaturally long lifespan, and what your history is like, down to the last gory, bloody detail." He said, leaning forward to press his head on top of Mello's to comfort him. "I am from Starclan, and I'm here to help you. I'm going to help you make decisions, and to guide your paws onto the right path, but right now, I must teach you how to control your transformations."

He wrapped his tail around Mello's shoulders, leading him into the clearing in front of Mello's chosen resting place. Forlorn walked across the chosen clearing, and faced Mello.

    "Attack me."

((*Snicker snicker snicker* You'll just have to wait and find out...))
Bloodstar jumped up, nodding his head in agreement, and yawned loudly. "Sorry, I'm really tired, just lost a life you know..." he muttered apologetically. :-[ Leading the way through the brambles towards the path that led to the camp, he looked over his shoulder and called out to Cloudstar, "You coming?"

    XoX

Leaping forward, Mello lashed out with his claws, aiming for the gray cat's chest. Forlorn ducked out of the way, sliding onto his back in mid-roll and stretching out his claws to rake unsheathed across Mello's exposed belly fur. His paws landing on the ground, Mello fell to his side as he landed, slamming into a tree a few tail-lengths away. Standing up, Forlorn walked over to Mello, who was struggling to stand, and slammed his front paw down on his shoulder, pinning him down.

"I will not take your training lightly, nor will it be easy. You must come at me with killing intent, you must look for my weaknesses, for I know all of yours. You must identify your own weaknesses, recognize them, and strengthen them. You must find what abilities you have that over-shadow my own, and use them to your advantage." Forlorn hissed into Mello's ear, "But most of all, you must not hold back."

Releasing his hold on Mello's shoulder, he walked back to his starting place and sat down, watching for signs of movement.

A twitch in the black cat's fur was the only warning he got.

Walking forward, he smirked at Cloudstar's distracted tone. Walking on for a short time, he looked for a deposit of moss and or bracken that looked good for nests. Seeing a large amount of moss nestled in the roots of a tree, he gestured at it to Cloudstar, settling down to collect it. "So, where do you think Mello went?" he asked Cloudstar.

"Well, I think we have enough for now." Bloodstar said, looking over at the sizable pile of moss and brambles beside them, and then back at Cloudstar. Turning around, he busied himself in ordering the moss and brambles into small rolls that he could carry under his chin and in his mouth.

((Have we told Almondfur about her new job as a normal warrior?))

Grabbing the last three of the rolls, (which sounds like he's eating sushi...), Bloodstar trotted after Cloudstar, pulling up alongside her so he could walk next to her.

    --------

Leaping forward,Mello raked his claws across Forlorn's back, sailing over him and whipping around as he landed. Bracing himself, he leaped forward, only to find that Forlorn was no longer there. Instinctively, Mello leaped up, jumping just in time as Forlorn slid by underneath him. Dropping down, he pinned Forlorn down and placing his teeth at the base of Forlorn's skull.

Jumping back, he waited until Forlorn moved. Slowly, the old cat turned around to face him. "We're done." Forlorn said.

Suddenly, Mello jumped up, finding himself back in the hollow he'd fallen asleep in earlier. He knew it had been a dream, but he could feel the wounds still bleeding. A bite on his left hind leg made him limp badly, as well as the one on his front left leg. They were both deep, and very painful, so Mello went back into the cave and wrapped some cobwebs over his leg until he got back to where Cloudstar and Bloodstar. Some of the wounds on his back weren't that bad, but one on his side was starting to throb. He wrapped his side in some more cobwebs and then headed back into the clearing. Following his scent trail, he wound his way to the place where he had last seen the two leaders.

As he walked, he started to hear something following him. Looking back, but not pausing he scented the air and stopped in surprise as he scented a familiar cat behind him. Whipping around, he stumbled as his head spun and lights flew around his eyes, falling to the ground, he caught a glimpse of his mother smiling down at him.

    ----------

"Did you hear something?" Bloodstar mumbled, dropping his rolls of dry bedding. "It sounded like Mello." he said, looking worriedly at Cloudstar.

"Yeah, I'm kind of worried about him, he was in bad condition before the fight, so he's bound to have opened a few wounds, not to mention gotten a few more." Bloodstar meowed, turning back and noting where he'd heard the sound before trotting forward.

(( I meant to tell everyone this earlier, but the cat on my profile is now what Mello looks like. (Minus the Dark Forest stuff.) Thanks!!!))

Bloodstar headed over to where he'd heard the sound, surprised when his paws bumped against something warm. Looking down, he recognized the white and gray pelt of Mello, but just barely, as it was so covered in blood, one had to be looking for color to actually see it. "Cloudstar! I found him, but he's badly injured. I'll carry him back, and we can have a medicine cat take care of him." Heaving Mello onto his shoulders, he was alarmed at how light the cat was, whether from blood loss or starvation, he couldn't tell, but he knew it was a bad sign.

Mello's eyes flickered open, and he vaguely registered that he was being carried. Shifting himself, he hissed as pain shot through his side. "Cloudstar?" he groaned.

Bloodstar felt Mello move on his back, glad that he'd regained consciousness, but he was worried about his condition.

((Yay we're on at the same time!))

"I-I'm alright, it's not that ba-" Mello coughed up blood, his side screaming in pain.

    --

"You shouldn't stress yourself, Mello." Bloodstar rumbled.

    ((You like my siggy???))

((What about Seacrest? She's Graveclan's Medicine Cat. And Owlwave is her apprentice.))

"We should get my medicine cat to look at him, since yours seems to be out right now." Bloodstar suggested, seeing Cloudstar's dismayed look.

Scenting blood, Seacrest bustled over to the two leaders, herbs in her mouth. Dropping them at her feet as she reached the three cats, she helped Bloodstar set Mello on the ground.

Mello groaned as his wounds sent stabbing pains through his body. Looking up, he smiled up to Cloudstar before coughing more blood off to the side. "Sorry, I really am...fine I just...need a minute." Mello said.

((Seacrest and Owlwave are both my characters.))

((I'll do it later so we get all the time we can get to RP. And what does power-hog mean?))

"He's got a dislocated hind leg, and I thing his rib may have cracked and punctured his lung." Seacrest explained, "This is not something a cat can easily recover from, and there is a chance he may die. We need someone to clean his fur so we can take a look at the wounds, but neither me nor Owlwave can do it. We need to get the cobwebs and make sure we have the herbs we'll need. Oh, and one more thing. I don't think we should tell very many cats about this. Bloodstar, you make sure no cat gets in the way, send them off to do something if they start asking questions. That's all." she said before heading over to her den.

    --

"Well, can't argue with the medicine cats." Bloodstar joked, assuming a position so that he could see if someone was getting nosy.

"Cloudstar, if we don't want to get anyone involved, you'll have clean off Mello, look, he's trying to do it by himself." Bloodstar said, flicking his tail to where Mello was trying in vain to lick his side, while coughing more blood next to himself.
