    OOC- Decided to create a subbie for Avorio.[color=black]

    IC- 'Is this everyone that wants to come?' Avorio meowed, lacking the usual optimism that danced through her voice like those little pesky flies across the sand. 'Cobalt, I'm not sure you're old enough to follow, unless your mother is okay with it.'

    Riotfire was right. They certainly were a happy bunch. Everyone had an excuse to be upset, especially poor Flick having lost both June and Bismuth, but this was just plain depressing. Hah, and it wasn't as if Lady was any better than the rest of this somewhat pathetic lot, although you had to give it to 'em for making the effort to do something useful, unlike the unmoving crowd that had gathered around Bismuth's torn and broken body.

    'I say we head as far away from this scene as we can. I can't help feeling we all need to distance ourselves from this for a while.'[color=black]

    OOC- [color=white]☆[color=black]

    IC- 'Is there anything I can help with?' Avorio inquired, relieved to see that at least some of Skulls were still able to function after the unfortunate passings of Bismuth and June. 'I need something to occupy me.'

    Of course, the 'occupy me' part was a total cover up for her grief. For some reason, the bronze-colored wench refused to admit the sharp pangs of sadness that would creep up and attack her every time a reference to the 'first mate's' death. Truthfully, Lady Avorio simply wished for an excuse to not think about either of the recent deaths that had had such a big impact on daily life.[color=black]

    OOC- Just wondering, what does Ao Shin mean in English? I know that Ao is blue, but I'm not sure what Shin means.[color=black]

    IC- 'Fine then, Cobalt, you can tag along,' Lady mewed, taken aback by the kit's reply. 'Sorry for making assumptions, I wasn't thinking when I said that.'

    Without further words or warning of any kind, the bronze she-cat trotted away from the dull shore and into the surrounding territory where prey would be plentiful and the weight of Bismuth's death would be lifted from their slowly weakening shoulders, even if only for a moment. It would be a relief to go and do something that resembled existence before the unexpected murder of Collateral Damage.[color=black]

    OOC- [color=white]☆[color=black]

    IC- 'I suppose I ought to make myself useful,' Lady sighed, trotting gracefully in the direction of the group scattered within the area surrounding Charon. 'How big do we plan on making this thing?'[color=black]

    OOC- [color=white]☆[color=black]

    IC- Having qualified as a wench, Lady Avorio already had some pretty decent knowledge of battle tactics, but what the hell, a little training now and again wasn't going to hurt. Trotting in the direction of Martialarts' little crowd, the bronze she-cat chose a spot in the sand and sat herself down, slender tail curled neatly around two front ginger paws.[color=black]

    OOC- [color=white]☆[color=black]

    IC- With a curt nod of acknowledgement aimed at the Shanghai, Lady Avorio galloped along behind Martialarts. Although it was sure to be a lengthy route, it would be an excuse to get escape the dull cloud that had hung over Skulls since the moment death pounced upon the former first mate's precious life. Without a doubt, relief would notably greater than exhaustion during this exercise.[color=black]

    OOC- [color=white]☆[color=black]

    IC- Pawstep by pawstep, the group of felines, plus Ao Shin, stalked silently through the rich green territory located away from the sea and soft sands of the beach. The scents of various prey were scattered among the undergrowth and trees, though nothing seemed particularly fresh. Avorio longed for the sensation of sinking razor-sharp teeth and claws into the warm flesh of an unsuspecting mouse or vole, but having such a magnanimous side to her personality, the ginger wench knew she would end up giving the first opportunity to kill to anyone but herself.[color=black]

    OOC- [color=white]☆[color=black]

    IC- Although Lady Avorio was not in a high position of any kind, and had no business in joining the two felines already gathered around the unfamiliar femme, curiosty had gotten the better of her, thus why the ginger wench was currently standing approximately a tail length behind Charon and Riotfire. The newcomer was a serval, and an especially pretty one at that. Her abdomen was hardly swollen, if at all, suggesting that her pregancy was still in the early stages, and it would be a while till any kits were brought into the world. [color=black]

    OOC- [color=white]☆[color=black]

    IC- 'Good idea,' Avorio commented, azure optics fixed on the Lynx. 'Count me in.'

    With graceful strides, the bronze-colored she-cat neared Eris before taking a spot beside her fellow wench. The notable inactivity caused by Bismuth's and June's unexpected passings seemed to have lifted slightly in the past day or so. It was promising sign. Maybe Skulls would be able to get back on their feet sooner than she hoped.[color=black]

    [color=black]--------------------------------

    OOC- [color=white]☆[color=black]

    IC- Huh, so the serval was serious about joining. Avorio wasn't sure why Diana wished to become part of Skulls. They weren't exactly any better than ScarClan. Maybe life as a loot would prove that to her. Skulls were an anti-Clan. A sexist, heartless anti-Clan, and as much as Lady loved it there, it surprised her that any sane being would choose to join them.[color=black]

    OOC- [color=white]☆[color=black]

    IC- The exercise had been one without conversation. Light pawsteps and nature's continuous melody were the only things audible. It was a comforting silence, unlike the silence that clung to the beach like the sand to her ginger pelt.[color=black]

    [color=black]--------------------------------

    OOC- [color=white]☆[color=black]

    IC- 'Oh, nice idea,' Avorio commented, tail twitching from excitement rather than her ADHD. 'And we need to add in some paths that take you back to start. That'll really piss people off, especially if they're almost at the end!'[color=black]

    [color=black]--------------------------------

    OOC- [color=white]☆[color=black]

    IC- Avorio followed the akita's respectful gesture and dipped her ginger head in welcome. Although Lady had never joined another group, and had no wish to ever do so, common sense told her that it was big moment for any cat, and a warm greeting was needed.[color=black]

    OOC- [color=white]☆[color=black]

    IC- 'I'm in,' Avorio meowed, claiming a spot in the soft sand.

    Avorio had only ever played truth or dare as a deckhand training to become the wench she was now. The bronze-colored she-cat could vaguely recall being dared to noisily awaken the crew before scrambling back to safety. To avoid being called a chicken, or whatever less appropriate word they might have used, Lady had attempted to trick everyone into believing she did the challeng. Long story short, that was the night she discovered that Lady Avorio woukd never be an illusionist.[color=black]

    OOC- [color=white]☆[color=black]

    IC- Avorio followed, padding about a tail length behind the Lynx. Joy gazed through the ginger wench's cold visionaries as the patrol neared their starting point. With a bit of luck, nothing unusual would be found around the border. Then again, if something was discovered, it might motivate the rest of Skulls to start being useful and help out around the territory for once.[color=black]

    OOC- [color=white]☆[color=black]

    IC- As Avorio softly made her way through the Loot sleeping quarters, her sharp azure optics spotted Diana, the serval that the wench had met on the border only a few days ago. Redirecting her gentle pawsteps, Lady neared the pretty femme and gave a polite smile, softening the ice in her visionaries.

    'Hey,' the bronze-colored she-cat mewed casually, not wanting to seem stuck up, but still carefully avoiding coming across as careless: a trait she hoped to never own. 'How's life treating you here?'[color=black]

    [color=black]--------------------------------

    OOC- [color=white]☆[color=black]

    IC- 'Huh?' Avorio mewed to herself as her azure visionaries picked out the unfamiliar serval. 'Another joiner?'

    Of course, that was a positive thing. The more, the merrier, right? After that period of inactivity following the deaths of Collateral Damage and June, it was great to know that things were inproving all the time. The grief was beginning to lift, and life was returning to the way it should be.

    'Welcome to Skulls,' Lady smiled politely, padding in the direction of the joiner. '[color=black]

    [color=black]--------------------------------

    OOC- [color=white]☆[color=black]

    IC- Azure orbs as cold as the rain half closed against the raging storm, Lady Avorio planted heavy pawsteps in the boggy ground as she battled with the beating wind. The ginger wench's field of vision was awful, edging on completely useless. As the outline of an unconscious feline came into what little sight she had in this weather, Avorio ignored the shape, convinced the disorientating sounds and smells were causing her to hallucinate.[color=black]
