alliance. riverclan rank. warrior
appearance. Solid colored, gray fur envelopes this she-cat from head to toe. Her fur is velvety to the touch and incredibly short, something that causes her problems during the cold weather of leafbare. Her frame would be considered oriental, being very slender, lean and tall, and the features of her face match this as well.
Her head is triangular in shape, very sharp and narrow with wide-set bright yellow eyes. Her ears are large and wide-set as well, with very dark pink skin lining the insides. Her muzzle tapers in an angular way down to her small, dark colored nose. Her default expression is usually a very calm, unamused one with her eyes narrowed ever so slightly in scrutiny towards almost everyone and everything. She is generally not very expressive facially, but makes up for it through her words.
Her claws are black and rather short, but she keeps them thorn sharp and in tip-top condition. She treats her claws like the precious weapons they are and will complain loudly if she happens to chip or crack one.
Contradicting her petite looks, her voice is very loud and abrasive and she can bark out orders with an orotund forcefulness that would make a drill sergeant proud. Even in normal speech, her voice tends to be well enunciated with certain words emphasized more than others.
personality. ENTJ + Lawful Good ↳ forceful - With Sealbark, it's her way or the highway. She has absolutely no room for those who cannot follow simple instructions and will have a hard attitude to those kinds of beings. When she's put in charge of a group, she acts forceful and abrasive, often trying to force her orders and beliefs on to anyone she can.
↳ loud - She's loud and proud in both voice and actions. She's always sure to make sure everyone can hear her because miscommunication is a nuisance that she would rather avoid. Her actions also mirror her voice, as she's always tries to be as flashy as possible especially in battle.
↳ bold - Bold and adventurous, two of Sealbark's more prominent traits. She acts absolutely unafraid of anything, though this causes her to be overconfident and quick to stick her nose where it doesn't belong. In battle, she is courageous and ready to strike at anyone who comes her way.
↳ rule follower - Almost to the extreme, Sealbark is all about following and upholding rules and thus comes off as uptight. While her heart may be in the right place, such strict adherence to the rules does restrict creativity and free thinking.
↳ ambitious - Nothing is more satisfying to Sealbark than being in a position of power. Unfortunately, the highest position she's ever held was when leading patrols. Still, she strives to move up the ladder of power and is very persistent in her actions. She believes herself worthy of a leadership title and will do anything within her moral code to prove this.
↳ energetic - Energetic and always at the peak of physical fitness, there's nothing worse than being unproductive. She has a seemingly endless supply of energy that she uses to constantly keep her paws busy throughout the day. Truthfully, she just has a very good sleeping schedule that keeps her well rested and ready to take on the day.
↳ natural leader - Charismatic, confident, and efficient, Sealbark is simply built for leadership. She's able to convince and inspire people easily thanks to her boldness and strong moral code. A downside to this is that she doesn't tolerate weakness or people who talk back to her. Like previously mentioned, it's her way or the highway.

history. Birchfur was a RiverClan she-cat and Blizzardstorm was a WindClan tom. They met at a gathering and hit it off, often visiting each other on the borders of their respective clans. Slowly but surely, they fell in love and Birchfur became pregnant with their kits.
But this hadn't been a planned pregnancy. While they had confessed their feelings for each other, everything had happened so quickly that Birchfur was a little uncertain about what the future held for her kits. They were both adamant about remaining in their clans, and so Birchfur was tasked with raising the kits on her own in RiverClan.
Soon, four healthy kittens were born -- Sealkit, Salmonkit, Otterkit, and Hazekit. When they were old enough and strong enough, Birchfur took them to the border to visit their father for the first time. The sight of his kits warmed Blizzardstorm's heart, but when pressed to move to RiverClan to be with them, he continued to refuse.
Birchfur's feelings for her mate began to diminish, replaced by irritation and bitterness. Visits with their father became less frequent and soon, Birchfur cut contact with the WindClan tome completely. The kits grew up without a father for the most part, but Birchfur didn't harbor any anger or resentment towards them and continued to nurture her little bundles of joy.
As the approached apprentice age, Sealkit became increasingly obsessed with the idea of becoming a warrior. She would watch the apprentices train in camp and would constantly try to mirror their moves -- albeit poorly. When six moons finally arrived, she was assigned Redclaw as a mentor.
Redclaw was a senior warrior, incredibly skilled and obsessed with battle. He taught Sealpaw these skills early on, often favoring battle training over hunting training to the point that her hunting skills became underdeveloped. He remained her mentor for two moons until he was killed in a border skirmish with ThunderClan. Sealpaw was saddened by the loss but her ambition to become a warrior helped her to move on quickly.
After this, she was assigned Sandstream as a mentor. Sandstream was a lot more well rounded in her teaching than Redclaw had been and so Sealpaw learned a lot more from her in one moon than she had with Redclaw in two. She developed a close friendship with Sandstream and prefered hanging out with her rather than her fellow apprentices.
Sealpaw was granted her warrior name Sealbark at twelve moons old. She was given this name to reflect her bold personality and she wore the suffix proudly. It was during her early warrior-hood that she discovered her ability to shapeshift when she suddenly woke up as a coyote instead of a cat. She quickly learned to harness her power and is able to switch back and forth between her two forms at will.
Sealbark continued to work hard as a warrior and remains an active member of RiverClan. [/fancypost] |
