Hello everyone, I deeply apologize for my unexcused absence these last four days. I have been having some bad technical problems because of this snow storm and haven't had the time or money to get it fixed right away. I'm now on a friend's computer, so I doubt I have much time...but I just thought I'd let you all know.

ic: Thadeus chuckled- expressing a grand smile when he tossed his arm (front leg) around Lithera's shoulder and pulled her close. (-Thadeus is beginning to remind me much of Mufasa, from Lion King-) "My love, it's in my nature." He replied simply, before rising to a stand and padding to the edge of his balcony and peering through the darkness at all the visible wolves below him. "We are so blessed..." He breathed, in thanks. "Generations after us will tell our story, you know that? Lithera, this pack is a legend. It'll be the rich filling of bedtime stories for hundred of years. Our blood will surge wild and free with the ever wandering paws of our great grandchildren...and they'll know what it means to do what's right. Yes, we are certainly blessed." Spoke the alpha- the warm expression painting his face with joyous hues.

Dragger sauntered in silence for a bit, listening in pleasure to Eurus finally come out of his shell. "Don't stop there- my friend. Perhaps you should lead the way. C'mon ol' chap...I'm dying to know of this glory you've just described, and I'm sure Lady Tia is too." Drag prodded easily, a sly, yet friendly smile etching his black lips. He then stole a wary glance at the already blackening sky- curious as to why the sun had fallen so early in the evening.

Brigita grunted, then reached down and locked on of the bull's legs between her iron-inspired jaws- dragging with almost equivalent strength alongside Langun- waiting to test his patience with her questioning. Her crimson eyes glowed, as the meek light of the stars peeped through the velvet black blanket up above.

Nidus rolled his eyes and slung a paw over his littler sister, displeased by her mercurial behavior- yet, in loving recognition of her neediness. "I mean it. You ought to be strong now, or I'll have Hollow wear you out. Sassy girls get the willow branch. You follow?" Nidus threatened, though knowing damn well Hollow would never do such a thing. Nidus stroked Mila's ear. "If you trust your brothers though, we'll find that cure...and you could be a hero for helping us." The alabaster young male murmured, shooting Claw an 'It's okay, I got this' type of glance.

Nidus's gaze flickered between Mila and Thane. "Mila, my name means 'The Nest' which really means origins. Just like birds, I stay in the nest. Claw and Fly will leave though, though, and like me; they'll come home too. I'm going to re-open your cut now so it bleeds, and then we'll distract Thane with it, so the boys can sneak out. Do you understand me?" Nidus demanded, though his husk little voice was still careful, tender.

Flying Man looked warily to the other two boys. "Who exactly is coming with?" He croaked, not wishing to miss out on his day with Koda. Fly glanced at his own brother, "Koda...is this okay with you? There are countless mornings..." The lanky ebony male whined, calculating all the ways they could find a cure- any cure, and return home in minimal time.

ooc: Soul, Then you'll have to re-join because I exterminated all inactive characters.

ic: Thadeus let his gaze linger on the sight of his mate padding away- before the peculiarity of the evening hit him. It couldn't have been too late in the evening, could it? For now the rolling skies were a thick, inky black. "Could winter be coming?" He asked himself quietly, standing up and pacing- all thoughts of stories and legacies fading from his mind as he tried to riddle through the reasons for such an eager night fall.

Brigita shrugged before answering through the leg between her chops. "To preoccupy myself for the time being. I'm waiting for something." The ivory fatale answered, flickering a red-hot set of orbs in his direction as if two flames had ignited upon her skull through the darkness. She then looked back ahead and pulled harder. "It was curious to me, that you've been with the pack so long and I have not a whisp of grit on you, or anything for that matter." She added nonchalantly, as if stalking another wolf was a matter of normalcy.

ooc: Miz, in the time period both you and I have been gone, I think there have been only two added pages.

ic: Katrin sat back and tried until it hurt her temples to imagine the fictitious cobwebs going away along with the imaginary spiders. She had no such luck, however...and when the sticky feeling on her face remained, Katrin thought it best to just focus on Hollow, and trust him as she always had. "Thank you," She murmured, her voice seemed raw, and almost pained.

Flying Man whimpered. "No Koda, apparently not. Nidus and Claw have concocted their own ideas of how we'll be spending our time-" He gulped and rubbed his face "-and it isn't like I can tell them around. They'll beat us up..." Fly went on, turning and noting with bitter disappointment how much larger both Claw and Nidus were in comparison to Fly and Koda. "...they want to find a cure instead...you know, for the wackiness that's captured the adults' minds? But that means we can't go out to the termites and beehives tomorrow..." The limbsy umber brute explained, his voice dimming furthermore from enthusiasm when he finished explaining.

Nidus shook his head soberly. "No, Mila. I'm afraid not. It needs to look real, not faked. I'm sorry, and I'll make it up to you- but you need to cooperate." The alabaster young brute said, his voice stone-like and unwavering.

Katrin looked at Hollow in confusion. "I- I what? No, no that's just-" She began, when Sirus slithered over to Hollow and nodded to the little wooden bowl of a mixture that contained nerve-spiking herbs such as rosemary; of which would heighten their senses and give them a better grip on reality. "No, no my voice doesn't hurt, dear. I'm sorry I screamed at you. I thought...I thought..." The umber dame looked greatly inconclusive, and decided once more to rely on her life-partner's judgement.

Fly looked down. "They have a plan, but I'm not sure where you come in." He replied softly, slinging a paw over Koda's neck with a thoughtful sigh.

Calligra reluctantly opened her owl-like orbs to see that she was nestled up inside her home-den as an omega...and Rabbit was curled in a tight little wad of fur and warm flesh as he slept between her belly and thigh. It seemed that he had already gained little over a pound, and was healthy as can be. "Rabbit, wake up." Cooed the proud queen, nudging the little male gently with her cold wet nose- in which alarmed him to full rouse. Still mostly blind and deaf, Rabbit merely stood and wobbled a bit, before flopping back down and squirming- and with how helpless he still seemed, Calligra was afraid she'd not have the proper amount of time to hunt to sustain her milk supply. After a short moment's thought, Cal rose, and picked up Rabbit by his over-sized scruff- letting him dangled between her jaws while he peeped and squeaked in protest. She then trotted back out of the omega den with him, and arrived into the main cavern- where she tucked him beneath a heavy elk hide before turning and sprinting for the hunting tunnel.

Katrin snorted, rather put off by the potent and often frowned-upon herbs, but after a heavy moment's thought, she decided to cooperate. "Alright." She said flatly, before lapping up a tongueful of the tiny, needle-like leaves and swallowing a few times until each piece was safely within her bowls. Noises erupting from outside met her auditories, and striking alarm. Sirus too had by now retreated for some hidden nook. "Hollow, what's going on?" She asked, her tone shaky and completely uncertain.

Nidus nodded, before bending down and raking his needle-like ivories across the scabbed streak on Mila's paw- immediately spilling dark red blood. It had been so quick, Nidus didn't think Mila even had time to scream. "All done." He whispered, before licking his sister's cheek reassuringly.

Flying man put a long, terribly untrimmed claw over Koda's lips. "Hush, brother. If push comes to shove, it'll by the other boys' faults, not ours. You're not to worry, aye?" Cooed the sooty young male, bringing his claws back to the ground and giving his lanky legs a good stretch as if all was well.

There is a reason however, as to why Princess has survived the way she has- because she's a brutal, and bloodthirsty fighter. Rarely will she loose, even to a male due to her steel-inspired muscle build. Yes, Princess is beautiful and many brutes are assigned to breed her. Watch yourself, because though she'll reflect a kind heart outside the ring, Princess wouldn't hesitate to shove all mercy aside in battle.

ooc: I won't be active right away at first- as you know Miss, I'm having frequent technical problems.

ooc: Tia, who's response are you waiting for? I think we got a little de-railed. Anyhow, I'm waiting on Halfsoul as well.

ic: Thadeus turned his massive head and faced Lithera, looking her dead in the eye. "Have you...noticed anything?" He asked, flickering his gaze for only a moment to the sky.

ooc: No, I remember your last post. I see that we're just waiting on Miss now, I suppose, in your case.

ic: Thadeus nodded, before grunting-dismissing the matter for now. "How about you and I share this?" He began, referring to the meat, "It's been a big day, and perhaps an early night doesn't have to be that bad..." Thad drawled, lifting a paw and rubbing the tender flesh behind Lithera's ear.

ooc: EH. WHAT. That is ridiculous. Wait, do you mean this thread or The Lab? Goodness me, I think the website go a few new mods because things never used to be this strict. Why, just the other day my post was censored and I received a warning because I used b**ch in means of defining a pregnant female canine. It's simply rubbish...and because of the highly child-friendly nature of this site, I've frankly grown quite bored, because things cannot be interesting if they could be read to a four year old. Sorry to all you youngins out there, but I simply despise strongly of the rules. Miss, I'd gladly follow you to another site. Perhaps one of us could design an advanced Proboards site?

ooc: No problem, Halfsoul. I was having similar problems.

ic: Thadeus chuckled, whispered a raspy 'thank you' and let his paw fall from Lithera's ear to her paw, before bending down to ingest the meat she'd gifted him with in a mere two-swallows- and the meal his his gut with a much-welcomed thud. The silver and ivory brute then stood up slowly as if to prevent Lithera any startle, leaned in to run his tongue along her jaw with lustful growl. "There's a grizzly hide in there with your name on it, my princess..." Thad whispered, letting himself revel in her familiar musk of honey suckle and dried leaves while he nuzzled her fiercely. It may as well have already been midnight, for all the alpha could think of was how incredible it'd feel to engulf Lithera with his own body, as if to protect her from any outside dangers...while she was adrift in sweet slumber.

Brigita shrugged, and yanked a bit harder on the caribou. "I admire that, actually. I'll see to it that Thad recognizes your nobility further...for I too have a way of things. Let's just say 'she who eyes from the shadowy depths always has a tongue of cunning nature.' You see? We are all artists, and I like your sculpture..." Brigita explained poetically, hardly noticing the fact that she used Thadeus's name informally rather than 'alpha'. It was just after she let all those muffled words slip that she heard Dragger speaking in the distance...paired with the scent of another female, and Eurus.

Dragger halted, rather than waiting on Eurus's reply. "We're in Dangerfields. Tia, stand beside me, with Eurus to your right. Look at the sky, it's much too dark, and we're bordering enemy territory." He announced, feeling wary now that they were surrounded by a rich, velvetty blackness. The Ever Night has fallen. "And we'll head back." He added grimly.

Calligra skidded to a dusty halt, in which made her pads skim and bleed. "May the Endwolves damn the day I actually get a moment's freedom." She growled, finding herself at a cross-roads with either continuing her hunt in order to sustain her milk supply and keep a bountiful teat for the ever hungry Rabbit, and obeying Bedrock's distant command and running back for the meeting. In the end, she thought it best to tuck her tail and listen to orders...though with much reluctance. She knew that Rabbit would be strong enough to survive just a few more hours on an empty gut. When the queen arrived back in the main cavern, she'd lead a trail of crimson footsteps, and her ivory pelt was matted and dirty- emphasizing her unhealthy state. "Alpha," She greeted, nodding her head with deliberate sluggishness, as if silently portraying her frustration.

Flask groaned and rolled over. "Hell if I know." The multi-shade brute ground out, giving his hide a thorough shake before nipping playfully at Blood's flank. "Wonder if he's finally nailed Bones and wants to announce her new place..." He inferred, chuckling at the scandalous thought.

Calligra stomped the stone with her heavy, round paws in means of applauding Bedrock and Bones...though she silently envied the other dame's new level of power. Better her, than I. Cal thought, her left brow cocking in a rigid arch. Her vivid gold gaze completely losing it's lustrous glimmer. "That's wonderful. May the both of you live in ease and reign with pleasure. Now, if you'll excuse me, I need to hunt, or I'm afraid I'll run dry." She managed, though her tone was flat and tired.

Rabbit squirmed and rolled over so that he teetered on his chubby paws- and opened his eyes, of which were remarkably bright, and of gold shine within their ember depths. For a long moment, the pudgy little brute simply gazed around at the cavern walls. Each stone slab around him was damp, and covered in black mold and lichens. To his right, there was a small opening in the ground in which revealed crimson glowing fluid, and around that small opening was black stone that had a glassy appearance. Rabbit sat back down, and gazed intently in that direction.

The quill-like hairs forming a bristly mane on the back of Flask's neck and down his spine stood up and he drew a step forward, his expression like that of stone, or the ominous black clouds during a wind storm. Something about the silent communication of staring alarmed Flask, and immediately he felt a dangerous level of protectiveness over Blood. He eased back however, when Bedrock ripped his gaze from Blood, and Flask finally murmured his congrats.

Calligra paused mid-step. "I beg your pardon?" She looked astonished, "I- t-thank you, Bedrock." She finally managed, ignoring her own stammer.

Flask ushered Blood back a few steps, and generally out of others' earshot. "Does he know?" The brute growled, now looking dangerous as he'd taken on a somewhat threatening position- towering over the fatale with tense shoulders.
