Roqell's brow furrowed. "Well, as Theta...I'll have to go out looking for him." She said grimmly, "But first, I'll need a high dose of poppy seeds. These broken ribs will slow me down if perhaps I run into the killer out there and I'd rather runner didn't end up hurting more than whatever that monterous brute would do do me if I'm found. Mist...would you get me some please?" She asked politely, but the determination was very prominant...surprising her companion, Rush. The massive brute studied her, but didn't object. "And what am I to do?" he asked eagerly. "You are to follow paces behind me, and watch my back as the both of us search." the theta femme replied in a very grave manner of speaking. Just then, the two wolves -in unison- turned their expecting gazes back to Mist.

Monte smiled, pleased with their interest and dwindling hostility. "Now we're talking..." he began thoughtfully. The starving brute had never been part of a pack. His family has long sinse departed and the idea had never interested him before...but he had a full idea of how a pack's dynamic worked due to the fact that he'd studied many packs over his six years of life. "Have either of you ever been loners?" Monte asked, genuinely curious, because if either of them had...then explaining his reasoning would be an easier task.

    ~Speaking to Hati and Ahiren~

Roqell got to her paws, allowing her hackles to raise slightly. "Oh, so you remember being so disrespectful to your theta now do you? I apologise for my hostility Mizoreuki but I think you'll be very pleased to know that this is Rush, the brute I am to accept due to my fathers wishes as my mate. Now, doesn't that make you feel better? I'd expect it to, sinse you've been so snide around me lately. You know, I think you'd ought to be a bit more grateful concidering the fact that the only reason your daughter is still breathing is because I slaughtered that bear. Not to mention the fact that I've suffered the fractures of four of my ribs. Imagine what would happen now if your theta wasn't able to come to Moon's rescue if your mate decides to roll around and slaughter her. My ribs pose a weakness now on our pack you know. So next time I willingly...and gladly put my life on the line for Fang, or any other member of your family, I'd expect a bit more kindness from you, because both you and I know that I'd sooner slit my own throat than see one of Fang's pack members...and further more, his kin die...and I count you in that catagory as well." Roqell said deffiantly, meeting Miz close enough that Roqell's wheezing breath whisped the opposing femme's fur. Rush's jaw dropped, so far he'd only witnessed an extremely obiedient and fair tempered vixen and now....standing up for herself? The ebony beast beside her realized that he had yet to fully figure his new mate out. Roqell blinked, feeling an enormous weight had been lifted from her shoulders when she let all of that out...gladly realizing that her alphess was for once...in the wrong as far as the theta female was concerned.

The lanky beast chuckled softly at her question. "I don't doubt you a bit Nieva, it's the ice I don't trust..." Though a soft smile marked his lips, the omega was completely serious. Matching her pace, Kol followed behind her and peered into the hole- drawing his nostrils wide to let the fresh scent of the deadly water sink in. Carefully, he let his body decend to a wide stanced crouch and waited silently for the shadow of perhaps a trout to flash beneath the surface...his expression was deeply focussed while he remained there motionlessly, and unblinking.

Roqell threw her head back angrily and replied to the alphess with a cold calmness. "Fang had sent for me when he and I were to rescue Falcon...Stormcall's sire to her pups. And in fact, while we stayed in the MoonStone caverns, he talked about you through the night. He'd been adimant in making his point that Falcon was to no longer law a claw out of line again and I was right there agreeing. Nothing happened other than my confessions of my own whereabouts that I had asked Fang to keep secret personally... and where I had always been headed was to meet my father...and the one time your mate had accompanied me was to escort me in my meeting with the suiter of my bloodline's pedigree, Rush and my father, Rill. Due to the violent nature of my family's greeting rituals, I had asked Fang to protect me in meeting the two brutes I'd feared most. I understand your position Mizoreuki but hear me when I promise...and swear on my gullet that whatever depths of loyalty I had for Fang were not in any way returned by him. Now, I am with Rush, to be pregnant simply because it's yet another one of my sworn duties." Roqell spoke with a sharpness that even she herself hadn't remembered hearing. "...I don't know why I waste my breath though, when you are right in any circumstance with rankers lower than yourself. How distasteful in my opinion. Look Mizoreuki, I apologize for daring to feel. But I will not lay down my dignity for the likes of your mindset. Not even if your mate demanded it from me. Honestly Miz, where is your honor?" The theta finished, holding her ground, though her fierce gaze had melted slightly. The ebony femme stood there, praying silently that she wouldn't have to take this further under already such dire circumstances...but she still felt that it was high time that she'd held her own, for once.

Almost imediately, Roqell's tail had begun to curl between her legs when she turned reluctantly, facing Rush who had remained sitting there, his eyes eagerly searching her's for answers on the theta's outburst. Biting down firmly on her tongue as if to prevent any more words of deffiance to roll from her tongue- Roqell simply shook her head a deliberately curled close to him, running her hot tongue along his cheeck, letting it linger near his nose as if to prove her points to Mizoreuki. Rush's ears laid against his head and the ashen brute returned the passionate gesture...setting Roqell's drive on fire. "You spoke well," Rush whispered, barely loud enough for Roqell to hear. once again, all the femme did in return was nodded, and lifted a mixed expression to the rest of her packmates...higher rankers in particular before her- a swirl of hurt begining to threaten salt water to pour from her orbs when she contemplated Fang's threat. Hating this weakness however, the ebony reviler bit down on her tongue harder and focussed on the physical pain rather than her latest emotional jabs.

The theta's expression had transformed to stone and she'd instantly let go of the two femme's vocal quarrel, as she had risen to Fang, and Mizore's side, awaiting either further detail... or an order. Glancing gratefully in Mist's direction for the high dose of poppy seeds the younger femme had so generously provided. Roqell had turned her heavy head back towards her alphess's brother and bowed her head slowly, unsure of what to make of this turn in events.

Rush too had risen to his pads, but stayed at Roqell's flank...noticing how she'd risen her tail in manner of dominance towards him. This femme is gonna be the death of me... The instinctual brute thought, letting his eyes roam hungrily over her back side- for he hadn't yet grasped the seriousness of the situation looming over the Shadow Wolves. Reluctantly bringing his gaze back up to the equally- if not even larger brute who'd stepped forward, with perked ears, Rush awaited Mizore's brother's further news...but kept a tightly closed maw, knowing he hadn't yet earned the right to speak.

Roqell took a slow step closer to her friend. "Moon, It gladdens me that you are again on your feet. This is your mother's brother; Turumu- he knows more of the murderous Blade's whereabouts. I think he's here to help." Roqell answered in a velvet murmur, rubbing forheads with the grey femme. The fur on her back still stood up where Fang's tail had been much as if the hairs where static charged. Mentally cursingb herself for the small reaction, she'd turned a steady gaze to her new...mate, Rush- who eye's were wide and radiant- refplecting everything she'd failed to experience. Just then, the theta reviler whirled her head around to hear more news from her alphess's kin- whether it be Mizore, Turumu, Moon, or Fang.

OOC: This may be my last post for the night...I'm not sure yet. Just a heads up!

OOC: I have to get off early tonight, I've got TONs of stuff that has to be done. I've read all the posts, so I'm on base. How about Roqell (due to her woresning injury) stays tucked away in Moon's cavern and Rush can fight alonside whatever either Flame or Falcon role plays? That would make things easier... then my work is cut out ofr me when I jump back in tomorrow morning. I'm sorry I gotta leave when things are just starting to get rivoting! Anyhow- Roqell is safely tucked away, healing. Her mate, Rush is to do whatever either Flame and Falcon do (if thats alright) whether it be fight or just stay hidden, protecting the many pups...and I'll read back in the morning from this point forward and jump in then. Night guys! Otherwise, somebody can rp with Rush for now if they'd like. Makes no differnese to me, just gimme a heads up in the morning if at all possible. Luv chu guyeeesss! :-*))

Kol was imediatly at he heels. "Yes Nieva, I'm here. What would you like me to do?" The omega offered softly, his spurs gripped the frozen terrain beneath his feeble frame. Kol's eyes drifted from studying the femme before him to the wounded wolf before the both of them. "I see..." the white pelted beast confirmed, a cold seriousness tinged his tone while he stepped closer to the mangled reviler, his snoot pulsating...gathering any scent possible that might clue the two in on the circumstances of the lupine currewntly splayed helplessly over the bitter unforgiving ice.

OOC: I should be back for near 15 mins, it's raccoon hunting season so I've been busy with my dad. That old fart loves nothing more that "'coon huntin wit 'em pups" lol. So I'll be off again early. Anyhow, I've read back seven pages, so I'm all caught up. No need for a recap. OH Yeah! So here's Roqell and Rush's plot idea...due to the already large amount of pups in the pack- I'm going to role play with Roqell being infertile- which infuriates her father,(Rill) causing him to never again speak with Roqell...but Rush defies Rill and remains with Roqell anyways, regardless of the propblem with the bloodline, and the ending of Roqell's family pedigree. Good huh? :D

IC: Rush raised her head drearily, noticing that Rush had curled around her tighter when Turumu had greeted them. Chuckling, the theta female sqirmed...noticing the pain in her ribcage had caesed slightly. "No need Rush, and look...neither of us are any match for Turumu so I don't even know why you'd try.." She teased, although the seriousness behind the velvett tone was still aparent. Looking back in Turumu's direction Roqell called out "Welcome Turumu. I...we are all very glad you're here. More particularily however, I'm honored to have you at my side as the other theta. You're experience with at least for the time being...strengthen our pack immensely, you have my loyalties." And with that, the ebony femme bowed her head, and returned to her balled up position with Rush, who's pelt had warmed her well.

Rush looked down, realizing that even through his mate's humor, she'd been right. When Roqell had bowed her head gracefully, Rush mimicked her...then to stroke his hungry tongue along her reliquary...giggling softly when her fur rose to his touch. "By morning my love, you must eat. I can't even remember my last meal and I assume you've been far too busy with your duties to even think about the gooey crimson of a badger's carcass...let alone a buck. You and I can ask Fang for that opportunity. I'd love some alone time with you..." the brute murmured. The pair of them merged and seemed to be one large ball of thick ebony fur. Both lupines being the same size, and shared equal muscle mass...making them seem almost as if they'd been created for one another. To his surprise, Roqell had returned the passionate gesture of his, and nodded joyfully to his offer. "I'd be pleased to hunt at your side." Was all she replied, due to her growing drowziness. The two lupines embraced tighter and fell asleep comfortably- each slipping into a slumer of ecstacy.

OOC: OK just kidding, I've got to go now. Night lovelies! I'll warn you too, I'll have limited time on the thread tomorrow due to a few appointments. Bye!! :-*

Monte cocked a brow at the other brute who'd grown increasingly irritable. "Very well then, I see that patience is not a virtue around here. But anyhow, you see I've been a loner a long, long time, and I've been happy...but the intricate and ever wavering structure the kinships within the many bloodlines of the packs in which share this forest domain deeply facsinate me...and I want in. I assume you believe that there's more to my reasonings to what I've just told you...and I understand your distrust...but truly, that is the general reason that others might care to hear. For you two...I have more specific intentions such as my explanation before; when I offered my place as omega...and to exclusively, carry out lets just say....more, private opperations. You see, I have this aching desire to have a purpose...rather than hopelessly spying on a pair of brutes for seven moon cycles." Monte replied with yet again, an empty, cold, calmness. Though it may have seemed by those statements that he'd have been groveling...though the skeletal lupine was indeed capable of incredible loyalty and sense, he held his ground and looked upon them with a level gaze...seeing that though he was outnumbered...the three wolves were indeed on equal ground intellectually. Monte's tail batted lazily at his side as he waited on their assumingly thought out response.

Monte stood, gave a curt smile and bowed his head- thoroughly bringing it down to his paws. Once the brute brought his cranium back up, his expression was that of a stone statue. In a deadly serious tone Monte Sirus replied "You both will not be disapointed in your decision." With that, he strolled silently behind them, keeping his craw shut tightly...allowing the two lupines who now kept Monte undertheir posession to proceed with their beastly buisness.
