"Let's go into the clearing next to the broken-down twoleg den. There's always big, juicy mice there that are slow enough that we can hunt them easily." Stormnight gestured with her tail towards a barely visible point of wood poking out of the sea of trees.
"Come on! What are you waiting for?" -
Um, I don't really know--there's mostly signing up for the thread, but nothing else much, really

"Okay, let's start with the basics of hunting." Stormnight started excitedly.
"In any kind of hunting, you need to keep your paws quiet when you stalk them."
She crouched low and silently pawed after a floating leaf.
"Make sure that you're downwind, so the prey won't detect you." Stormnight added.
"Aaaaaand.....POUNCE!" She swiped at the poor maple leaf, and reduced it to scraps. -
"Great job!" Stormnight praised. "Not every cat catches prey the first time. I think you will be a great hunter!"

Pinepaw and Icepaw stared a hole into Redpaw's mouse as Redpaw and Stormnight passed the entrance tunnel and into the clearing. They hadn't caught anything, although it was their first time.

A black cat with a red heart-shaped scar on his chest spat at Spiritheart.
"Spiritheart! Just go hunting with someone already! You're such a kit, you even bother the kits!"
"Brokenheart. Such a pessimist." Spiritheart grumbled. -
"Well, I better get going!" the white tom called out.
"I will hunt a mouse for each of you kits!" -
Brokenheart suddenly dissappeared when they turned away.
