[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width:500px][justify][size=9pt]Blackjack looked towards Blitzpaw, a slight frown on his face. This guy seemed angry... but the lion wouldn't go in and change up how the wolf went around. "Blitzpaw, you can hold a game of two truths and a lie. Make sure everybody who attends will find out something interesting about one of their clanmates."

He gritted his teeth in irritation when Twilighttime demanded a task. He had mutual feelings towards her: dislike. However, he could not let that get in the way of his job. "Sure." He huffed, searching his mind for something for the girl to do. He didn't want to be completely evil and give her something that she would hate... although Blackjack did have to admit it sounded tempting. "You can order a hunting patrol." He directed towards the female.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width:500px][justify][size=9pt]Blackjack had slight interest in the topic, but not so much that he wouldn't go hunting if the opportunity arose. However, he figured it would not be a horrible idea to attend something like this.

His jaw clenched slightly when he saw Twilighttown. Bombs were exploding in his brain. When he saw the chief, he walked over to her, settling to the side of Egretstar and giving her a small smile. It was then that he would turn his attention to the wolf. He was not planning on paying too much attention to Blitzpaw, but just enough that he would be able to catch the more widely-used herbs. After all: having some medical training was better than having no medical training.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width:500px][justify][size=9pt]Blackjack gave a light chuckle as he trotted over. He already liked the African wild dog; she seemed like fun. Unlike some others present. He wondered how grew to having a couple grumps around. He didn't like it much, but he always reminded himself that at least Hawkclan was growing.

"Welcome to Hawkclan, then," the lion directed towards Kakima. "My name's Blackjack. It's a pleasure!"

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width:500px][justify][size=9pt]Or you chased him away, Blackjack mused to himself with a slight chuckle as he walked over. In all seriousness, the aviator trainee would more than likely miss the apprentice. They had never known each other too well, but Misspaw had trusted him. That was at least something he'd never forget.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width:500px][justify][size=9pt]Oh, fuck no. He did not want to deal with this right now.

Blackjack wouldn't say anything. Instead, his teeth were clenched together and he ground them like coffee beans. He wouldn't say that he hated Twilighttown, but, yeah. He most definitely did. He was sure that he had not met another person as rude as she was. Blackjack pinned his ears back as he sat next to Toru. He was kind of hoping that the little guy would be promoted soon.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width:500px][justify][size=9pt]Interesting. Well, Blackjack supposed he'd have to note to call the male that now. He figured it wouldn't be too hard a task to accomplish; the lion hadn't really had too much interaction with Misspaw as of yet. Of course he hoped that would change sometime in the near future, though. "Duly noted." He said quietly as he sat down next to Kururi.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width:500px][justify][size=9pt]Gift baskets were an amazing way to connect with allies on a friendly level. It was the reason that Blackjack was grinning from ear to ear when he walked over. Although Hawkclan never really participated in battles, it was always nice to have a back-up just in case the worst was to happen. The aviator trainee sat down to form a soft of triangle formation with the other two that were already present.

"I don't really have any interest in going anywhere, but I can still help make them if you'd like," he said towards Quickfire.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width:500px;][justify][size=9pt]The aviator trainee padded up next to Kururi. It had taken him a while to get her names switched over - he still wanted to call her Mei. Although Blackjack hadn't known the girl upon his rejoining, he had gotten to know her for a brief time as her previous name. All of these changes were still hurting his head. Ah, fuck Starclan. Bunch of fakers they were.

"It's... pointless." He breathed out, looking slightly solemn. "Starclan sent Egretstar a warning that if we didn't hike outta here, then we'd get demolished by them. And, yeah, it happened. Some little shit came in and burned half our territory down. In other words - we'll be moving soon."

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width:500px;][justify][size=9pt]Blackjack could not believe what he was seeing.

The person he hated most had just tried to kill herself. He figured that he should be fucking ecstatic over the situation. Oddly, he felt... nervous? He couldn't exactly pinpoint the emotion. Either way, the aviator trainee wasn't on the ground crying of happiness because of the fox's failed attempt at suicide.

    Distraught. That's what it was.

"Twilighttown," he growled towards the female as he approached, "what the fuck were you thinking? You could have killed yourself. Jesus Christ, you almost did! You can't... you can't go around and do that kind of stuff." Blackjack was going through a sudden change of emotions and he was not appreciating it. Could he not settle on one thing for the day?

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width:500px;][justify][size=9pt]Oh, no. Oh, fuck no.

Ever since Concretejungle had tried to steal Salixcloud from him, Blackjack had despised the former's guts. He could not believe his friend - no, he could not believe his own brother would try and steal the love of his life away from him. So was he happy that the tom was back? Not at all. It brought memories of Sal, their time spent together, along with her time spent with Con.

"You little prick," the lion growled. "How dare you show your face back here. Come crawling back for Sal, eh? Well here's a slap of reality for you: she's not here." Blackjack looked like he was ready to kill Concretejungle. Er, Ghostgate now. Honestly he wanted to slice the dirty male's throat open and leave him for dead. But he couldn't do that now, could he? For one, he'd be exiled - he'd made his return about a month ago, and he certainly was not planning on leaving anytime soon. Second, Copperwires would disown him. Ah, he wouldn't want that, eh? To betray his own blood. Like Concrete had never done that before.

(I should mention total IC opinions!!)

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width:500px;][justify][size=9pt]"Oh, yes," Blackjack replied to Splitsecond, giving a small chuckle. How could he be so stupid and overlook something as simple as introducing himself? "I'm Blackjack, an aviator trainee here. Call me Jack if you'd like, though I've not been called by any nicknames in quite some time now - I'm not sure if I'd respond or not." He held out a paw for a handshake.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width:500px;][justify][size=9pt]Blackjack's ears suddenly pricked forward and the male jumped a little when Twilighttown came into view. He was certainly not expecting anybody to join him; he really was quite a ways away from the main camp. The male pushed the rabbit off to the side - conveniently enough, there were a few bushes lined up. He nudged it with his paw under there. It was a poor attempt to not let her see its mangled body.

"You startled me," he replied simply. He wouldn't respond to her question, as it made him feel... odd inside. Why did he cradle the animal before he delivered a lethal bite to its throat? Was it to make it feel comfortable in its final moments? Maybe it was because of his own insecurities. He could not be sure altogether.

(I'm really sorry for the late reply!! I don't have any incentive to reply to private threads rn, aka I'm dying inside)

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width:500px;][justify][size=9pt]A hunting patrol that ended up being a border patrol lead him to the calico girl before him. He always tried being friendly, so he could only hope that he wouldn't scare the loner off. "Yes?" He replied gently, trying to appear as non-threatening as possible. "You're on Hawkclan territory. My name is Blackjack. Can I - we help you at all?"

Immediately, he seemed to be... drawn by her.

The now-curious male would sit and watch the small calico, waiting for a reply from her. He wondered what lands she came from and why she was tempted to join Hawkclan. Something must have drawn her here, no? Nobody joined a place for no reason. The question itched the tip of his tongue, but Blackjack would remain quiet and fidgety.

    (ninja'ed)

    [fancypost borderwidth=0px; width:500px;][justify][size=9pt]"Well... shit."

Blackjack did not want to get into this today. All he wanted was one day off. Okay, maybe a week's vacation would be nice, he did have to admit. He leaned down to pick up the ocelot by the scruff. She was lighter than he expected and he over-pulled the girl. Cringing, the lion would make his movements as smooth as possible as he headed back towards the main camp. He hoped that Kururi would be around somewhere.

(OK I hope I did not power-play your char or anything though I'm sure I did, let me know if I did and I will edit!!)

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width:500px;][justify][size=9pt]"Splitsecond. He is only a child." The lion drawled as he walked over, eyes training on Litten's small form. "I think it would be wise for you to put him back where you found him." His attention shot to Jonas as the dog spoke up. He wondered hat happened to the always-happy apprentice. Was it because of Misspaw's leave? Blackjack made a mental note to speak with the Irish setter about it and returned his focus to the Exiler.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width:500px;][justify][size=9pt]"Honestly, we should go to any of Shadowclan's enemies." He started, glancing at Egretstar and Twilighttown as they came over. "Even if we are enemies with them. As the old saying goes, 'the enemy of my enemy is my friend'. We should utilize anybody and everybody we can in a situation like this."

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width:500px;][justify][size=9pt]Oh... a joiner. He was sure that he hadn't seen too many of those in the past few days, and although that was somewhat concerning, Blackjack's mind was often occupied by Twilighttown or Ghostgate. The male was positive that they were more than likely beginning an anti-him petition. He hated to both of them, but... everybody else but him seemed to like them.

"Yes, welcomes are in order..." He murmured quietly as he walked over, a slight smile on his face. He was, however, looking distant as Blackjack sat himself next to Kururi.

    [fancypost borderwidth=0px; width:500px;][justify][size=9pt]He was... sad.

He didn't think they'd really be leaving. Sure, Egretstar was more than likely a woman of her word, but the disbelief that accompanied everything was strong in Blackjack's mind. Biting his lip, the lion shuffled over. He didn't want to leave. This is where all of his life events happened.

This was where he was born. It was where he escaped to from camp life and where the thrill from escaping camp came. It was where he became an apprentice, and where he trained countless hours to receive his warrior name. This was where... where he met the love of his life, Salixcloud. His loving brother's words were beginning to get to him about his wife. If she truly had loved Blackjack, then she wouldn't have been contemplating going with Concretejungle. He was not sure what to think of her anymore.

Nonetheless, he wasn't ready to move past it all.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width:500px;][justify][size=9pt]Blackjack was more than unfamiliar with the world of ghouls and goblins. He'd never seen one before in his three years of life. Perhaps it was a... mutation? Or maybe it just meant she was possessed by a ghost? Either way, he would walk over and offer the domestic feline a comforting smile.

"It's alright, Kururi." He tried to comfort his boss, but he felt extremely awkward in doing so. He was not sure what being a ghoul meant. He'd never been around her when she ate food and had not noticed her lack of eating it. Blackjack swallowed down a few nerves and continued speaking towards the head aviator. "We're all, er... here for you. No matter what. After all, we gotta stick together, eh?"

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width:500px;][justify][size=9pt]Blackjack followed after Splitsecond, curiosity tugging at him to go meet the loner who was currently situated at the border. He studied the eleven-month-old feline carefully.

"This is Hawkclan." He added it as an afterthought to Splitsecond's few words. He glanced briefly at the female before returning his attention to Kouha. "My name is Blackjack, by the way. This is Splitsecond." The large animal would then tilt his head in the direction of the female. Now, the only thing left to do was to wait for the male's reply.
