Softpaw slowly stalked around a bush, she could smell mice. She looked in the direction it came from and followed the scent. She soon saw a mouse digging for nuts. She dropped into a hunter's crouch and leaped onto the mouse, pushing her body forward and landed on it's back. She gave it a killing bite on the neck and buried it in the ground.

She looked at the leaving patrol with curious eyes.

She looked up at her leader.

Moonstar nodded to Jaywing and then looked at silentpaw "you stay in camp" she said. "now let's go!" she ran out of campLet do this!)

She soon scented a rabbit. She started to stalk in the direction it was coming from. She soon saw a Rabbit nibbling on the grass. She slowly stalked towards it from behind, it must have scented her because as soon as she was in pouncing reach, it sprinted off. She ran after it, she was almost close enough to reach it. She was soon close enough to reach it and almost flew on top of it. She landed on it and bit down hard on it's neck, killing it. She gave thanks to Starclan and buried it.

Silentpaw went to her nest. She was the only apprentice in camp right now, besides the med cat apprentice.

She fell asleep.

She woke up from a horrible dream. There was a thunderstorm in the forest and lightning hit the camp and blew a huge hole in the middle of it. There was screaming cats everywhere. In her dream she had not been able to get away from a falling tree, and it fell on her before she could get away. She woke up from her dream after that. Don't worry, it's just a dream, she thought to herself

She got up from her nest, shaking her head to clear out the dream.

She padded around a tree, smelling a thrush. She found it easily. She stalked it from downwind, not wanting it to scent her. She was soon close enough to pounce. She pounced on it, killing it quickly so it wouldn't give an alarm call and scare away the prey. She buried it's body.

She sat down and groomed herself.
