"I am getting kind of tired. I'm going to get some sleep. See you tomorrow, Dewfur," Weedkit yawned. She padded to the corner of the nursery and sat down. She curled herself up into a little ball to keep warm.

As Willowkit padded along the field of reeds, she noticed that Skyfire was thinking about something. "Skyfire, are you okay? It looks as if there is something on your mind," she mewed. "Go on, tell me what's on your mind."

Willowkit looked at Skyfire. "Go on, you can tell me," she purred. "You can trust me." "Look at me and tell me what is on your mind," she insisted, trying to act stronger, with her shoulders broad, staring straight into Skyfire's eyes not taking her eyes off him.

Willowkit looked into Skyfire's eyes. His eyes were filled with sorrow. "Skyfire, that is so terrible! I'm so sorry that I made you talk about it. It probably brought back bad memories. Oh, I'm so sorry for you," she mewed in sadness, feeling bad for Skyfire. "I wish I hadn't brought that up. I hope you aren't sad now."

"That's terrible!" She went on, "I cant believe Ocean would steal from two-legs, lie to his own family, and, try to chase off his own brother! It is all his fault! If he hadn't stolen from two-legs in the first place, he might still be alive! He called his own brother a traitor. I also can't believe that you parents blamed you for his death. You were just trying to get away from him. Besides, it was the monster that hit him. Your parents could have asked you what happened instead of trying to kill you! I can't believe that a nice warrior like you could share blood with such cruel cats."

Talonpaw lay down in the medicicine den, as he saw Swiftpaw look back after him. He saw the sorrow in his eyes. "Don't worry, I'll be fine," he purred reasuringly.

"Well, I guess I could try that," she said. She backed up again, ready to leap. She leaped at her mentor, landed on his back, and clawed his pelt. Then, she took a nonpainful bie to his shoulder. She leaped off of him. "How was that?"

"Okay," she mewed as she padded towards the nursery. She looked back to say one more good-bye to the warrior that saved her life. "B-," but he had already gone. She padded into the nursery, exhausted, as she sat down.

"Hello, Swiftpaw," purred Talonpaw, as he relaxed from his dream. He stood up, stretched, and padded towards the enterance. He turned back to his friends. "I'm going to go get some fresh kill, be right back," he mewed as he padded outside the apprentice den.
