As soon as Angel said go, Vaporeon pushed down on the water hard with her tail. She started to swim so fast that her ability, Water Absorb, started to blur her legs. She felt as if she was one with the water. The rhythmic motion of Vaporeon's tail increased in speed with each push. Vaporeon had never felt happier.
Dianna was having a hard time holding on, but she was shouting, "This is amazing!" She was enjoying herself, obviously. |

Cayden withdrew his torchic. His rival was skilled with Pokemon, and he had lost. Dianna ran up to him in tears. She yelled at her brother's rival, "That wasn't fair! Cayden can't lose." Cayden shot an apologetic glance at his rival, and she giggled. "Dianna, everyone loses sometimes, that's why you have to be a good loser." He smiled at his sister. She looked at him, wide eyed, "Even you?" Cayden nodded and ruffled her hair, "Even me."
Dianna was drawn back into reality by Vaporeon, who became worried by her trainers unresponsiveness. Dianna shook her head, and realized that they were getting closer and closer to Cinnabar Island. Vaporeon tried to keep up with Persian, but she was a few centimeters behind her. |

Vaporeon used all of her strength to pull a centimeter forward, she grew dizzy, but she used her Water Absorb to stay awake.
Dianna shivered, she hated her memories, she hated her brother in a way. He was too important for her, she didn't like to speak because she doesn't feel important enough. She tried shaking her head, she tried to stay in reality. Thankfully, the water splashing onto her face was enough for her to clear her head. She smiled and whispered in Vaporeon's ear. "Don't panic, its just a race, your doing fantastic for your first time surfing. Vaporeon seemed to relax, and was able to focus on staying at the same speed.
