sasha's one of my favorites as well. you seem to have good taste
the one thing i truly dislike about her has very little to do her her, actually
the fact that the """fandom""" turns her character into nothing but "potato girl" is the absolute worst

she's not particularly a comic relief character, though? she's, to be perfectly honest, one of the best at what she does. she's saved lives, y'know.
while normally i'd go on and elaborate upon that but instead i'll direct you to this post since i've written enough monologues for this morning

the fe series is quite good, i'd highly recommend trying out some of the others
strategy rpgs are some of my favorites, and fire emblem is one of the best in the genre
it's not too horribly complex, it's easy to pick up, and the stories usually aren't awful
only problem is some of the earlier titles are hard to get a hold of for a reasonable price

i usually only use about six units per map while doing the story but i always, always grind each and every unit until they've capped all stats even if i don't plan on using them
often it's to make 2nd gens as good as can be, but i do the few i don't plan on pairing off for completion's sake

i don't have a problem. i don't have a problem i definitely do not have a problem i don't

i don't think i've ever used the 3d for longer than three seconds
idk, it just doesn't appeal to me i guess
90% of my play time in all of my files is probably grinding
whenever i do the story i usually just have chrom go in alone, or with whoever i've paired him off with for pair up bonuses
or just have him hide behind my MU
but at least chrom isn't as much of a pain to max as frederick
goddamn do you know how long it took me to grind him up to where all his stats capped and he had the skill set i'd planned for him in my latest file
(it took almost three hours because i wanted to keep him a great knight for the weapon triangle and after reclassing him countless times for skills i had to go back to great knight which takes for goddamn ever to level)
but i digress
grinding isn't fun but i'm obligated to make sure every single unit of mine is top notch, no exceptions
the things i do for my sanity's sake

i usually reclass cherche a few times before promoting her to wyvern lord as her final class since her base stats match up well with it but other units who start with mounts often find themselves filling roles that force them to leave their horses behind
it's all about efficiency for me tbh

this is off topic but look at this icon of todd i have

i think todd was my favorite when i'd first started but elijah quickly stole that title from him
i like his character a lot and am genuinely curious about his motives, personality, and possible connection to the bombings
there are a good bit of unanswered questions regarding him that i have and i can't wait to see the story progress

my username is from the video game okami
it's a shortened version of kasugami's name, the celestial brush god of mist, with an added period at the end, of course
it sounds nice, i've been using it for over a year now, and it's what most people know me by, so i haven't really bothered to change it much

hey tempy :+O
i used to be a much larger okami fan than i am now, but i still play it from time to time
it's graphics stand up pretty well even today, and although i have a few gripes with the motion controls every now and then, it's always a fun, solid title that i enjoy revisiting every now and then

and i wouldn't stress too much about it
you're certainly well-versed on the topic of supernatural, and under most circumstances roleplay is just for fun, so even if you do mess up, it's alright
i can't really give you much advice other than that though, so the least i can do is wish you luck

meh, certain current gen games still appeal to me, but mostly ones that come from specific publishers
as snobby as that sounds, at least atlus is still putting out somewhat quality titles, like smt iv and persona 4
although persona 4 is a bit dated by now, and persona 5 is up in the air, nintendo is basically republishing the same game they did in 1985 with updated graphics and mechanics in fear of losing money for stepping outside their comfort zone
not that i blame them for that, however
i can definitely see where you're coming from

my entire state has no idea how to handle snow, which is quite unfortunate, given it's merely an uncommon occurrence as opposed to a rare one.
there was quite a fiasco going on when the roads iced over due to it snowing so much last week, although plenty of people are already aware of that... blunder, so to speak.

jot my name down on the guest list, because i'm totally down to clown with this chat.
i bought the collectors edition of the game on release via preorder at gamestop after beating the demo to the fullest and i've gotta say, it's a blast. the demo starts you off a bit roughly with little explanation of the mechanics, but i fell in love with it. the class system is quite reminiscent of ffxiv, and it's one of the main draws for me. i made an effort to max all job levels in the demo, and i intend to do the same with the full game. the level of customization you have with all four of the "heroes of light" as i've heard them called is impressive, but so is the rest of the game. i like the graphics, soundtrack, and the story so far has been decent but i'm only on the second chapter, so i can't say much about it other than that.
i do have a few gripes with the game, but the positives greatly outweigh the negatives here. it's a fun, solid jrpg that i'm thoroughly enjoying so far.
i give it a 9/10.
this has been a review on the recently released 3ds title, bravely default.

s'quite a shame indeed.
then again, it's been awhile since dangan ronpa's been considered "hip", so it was bound to die out eventually, and while i can't vouch for the others, i'm not too big a fan anymore myself, nor am i too horribly active here anymore. on the bright side however, at least i managed to fit a space jam in before the thread's untimely demise, eh?

do my eyes deceive me or is that arin hanson

i dunno, the series was sort of a flavor of the month type of thing for me. sure, it was interesting enough but my interest faded somewhat quickly, and both the fandom and the games were a bit... problematic, to say the least.

i'm definitely with you there, 'specially on the fandoms part
i guess i sorta grew out of that song and dance over time
but one thing i certainly haven't grown out of is game grumps
i'm so glad they're playing shadow of the colossus you don't even know

i guess i'm odd in the way that a good group of people that i'm relatively close to can be intensely passionate about something and i won't be affected by that in the slightest.
then again, i'm pretty picky about my interests, believe it or not.
