"Okay." Acornmist scrambled up and glanced around. "Over there," Using her known colored tail, she pointed to the cats gathered around Aurorakit. The warrior started to back away, if Aurorakit was dead she didn't want to be anywhere near that polar bear.

Acornwind backed away. Aurorakit was fine, but Fairypaw was still trying to kill her with looks. Maybe she'd go hunting and come back with lots of prey. Killing more things. That was sure to please the leader. Yeah no. Either way, Acornmist turned and ran into the woods.
Aurorakit heard large foot falls she guessed to be Onestar. She swiveled an ear in his direction. "Fairypaw, can I sit up?" The torbie asked. She was still wet and cold, but at least all her bones were in place. What she was worried about was choking on any water that might still be in her throat. While lying down, the water was spread out. But if it all rushed down her throat when she sat up, she didn't know more then it would've be good.

Aurorakit turned to Blackkit in surprise. "I already know how to handle my paw." She meowed evenly. "I saw the medicine cats the second it broke, over a moon ago, and we've figured it out. I even went swimming yesterday to strengthen it." Aurorakit flicked an ear, surprised at his demanding manor. "Thanks for the offer though." She meowed.

Aurorakit nodded, intrigued by the story, but she had one question. "Where, and what, is a Zoo? The word was strange on her tongue, having never heard it before. It seemed to be Sobers kithood home though, and Aurorakit felt disappointed for the cheetahs home having disappeared.

Aurorakit shifted in her nest. It seemed she would never get out of the medicine cat den! Honestly, she did like it here. However, she didn't want her reasons for being in there to include bone breaking or near drowning. Ever since the loner had fished her out of the lake, Auorakit had been a) Very shaky and b) afraid to go into the water again. She was still wobbly on her paws, but getting better all the time. And now Aurorakit felt well enough to poke her head out and see if anyone was around to talk to. Padding stiffly to the entrance, the torbie looked around go see if anyone was about. She didn't see anyone, but the cave was shadowy, so someone might be there and the kit would never know.

Aurorakit loved watching the moon at night. She always fancied that her mother was watching the same moon as well, and thinking of her. Probably not, but the kit could dream. And a little part of that dream made her hope that her mother regretted abandoning her, and would one day look for her. Aurorakit flicked an ear. 'Impossible.' She reminded herself. 'Thats as far fetched as wanting to be a medicine cat. It's not happening.' The torbie kitten was sitting just inside the cave entrance, not outside because Northernvoyage would be mad. And for once, she didn't want to go to the lake. Pretty as it would be on the clear night, the fear of drowning was still to near.

Aurorakit watched as Cloudpaw entered the den with a wound. "Just from landing on thorns?" She gasped. "I'll be a lot more carful around bushes then." Really Aurorakit needed to be careful around everyone. After braking a paw and nearly drowning, it would be a wonder if she made it apprenticeship. Luckily that wasn't to far away. "You can fix that easily, right Fairypaw?" Aurorakit asked. She didn't like to see her friend with wounds. More magic herbs!

Well, she hadn't been very supporting of Aurorakits want to be a medicine cat, and tried convincing her to take the path of a warrior, but overall she'd been quite friendly. Her sliver eyes flickered to Moonkit, distracted for a moment. "You should tell Northernvoyage about Starkit," She meowed. "But Fairypaw can help you with herbs."

Cloud paws words confused Aurorakit. It seemed something was going on with Arropaw that she didn't really want to know. As long as she didn't kill Cloudpaw, Aurorakit was alright with it, though she wasn't pleased that she had injured apprentice. Aurorakit flicked her ears at Cloudoaws next statement. "Actually, I think Snkingship will be my mentor." She meowed.
