Shion sighed after checking on Rayn, who slept calmly in her room, a dreamless slumber. He startled at the sound of knocking on his door, and moved to answer it, tripping on a few things in his path before getting to the door. He saw Kate standing there and gave a false grin.
"Hey, Kate," He murmured in a sleep-filled voice. "Sorry for yellin' at ya earlier, wanna come in?"

"Sure," He replied, leading her to the livingroom. "Want anything to eat? We've got just about anything that is junk food, so fire away. We need to stay quiet, though. Rayn is sleeping in the other room,"
-
"Sure," Shion answered, heading into the kitchen. After a few muffled thumps and curses he came back, tossing her a bag of chips and holding a soda for himself. "So, what's up?" He asked casually, pretending they were both normal, having the normal lives he longed for.

Name: Reniam
Gender: Female but can be male
God of: Animals
Symbol: an egg
Animal Symbol: a deer
Parents: Unknown
Usual Look: Carnivore-
Herbivore-
Mythology: Reniam is a god of life, the bringer of food, and servant of man. She watches over human and beast-kind alike, bringing forth animals and watching over them. She also has a wrathful side. A side of her that is shown only to those who defy her. While she can help man and beast prosper, she can also bring them to their knees, should they anger her. She has always kept Siren clean and beautiful, micromanaging all species of animals. Recently, though, chaos has risen, and has caused the animal kingdom's once prosperous existence to suffer. Reniam may be the god of animals, but when darkness falls, she may not be able to go on.

Remian viewed the mortal world with a keen eye, her herbivore skin resting on her like an old, well-fitting coat. She laid in the immortal realm, in a field by the river Neke, where she spent most of her time gazing into the human world. She watched the mortals with interest, new ideas for human and beast-kind alike were being formed, and she helped them along using her animals. The humans and beasts seemed to be integrating, for the first time in centuries, and she had a front row seat in her riverside field. She grinned toothily, her flat teeth quickly being replaced by long, sharp canines as she morphed into her carnivore form, stretching her wings before taking flight in the airspace above the Neke. She sighed, exasperated, when no gods were there to satisfy her slight boredom. There was nothing truly new beneath the sun, and she could not find a friend to share her disappointment. Finally deciding to simply join the others in the realm of mortals, she morphed into her human form, and slipped through the film seperating the realms. In her human form, she set out to the nearest river, where she knew she could find a god of interesting power.
When she finally cleared the city and found herself standing on the riverbed she stood amazed by the beautiful scenery surrounding her, and strolled down the river for a while before requesting the presence of Joan.
-
Reniam sighed in agitation and moved a lock of hair from her eyes. Human forms were always her least favorite. She viewed the Neketan with curiosity, but urgency won out.
"I'm sure you can relay my message, but tell brother dearest that Remian said she needs to speak with him, and it's urgent." She said simply, putting as much desperation into her words as she could. "Tell him it's about the spreading chaos." She finished, waving the creature off. She then sat at the riverside and waited for Joan to come.
-
"Hello, brother dear, I'm here to ask if you've had any trouble managing your precious knowledge recently. I've had a few mishaps with the animals, and I was wondering if you were getting trouble as well? The chaos is stirring, and it's causing mayhem in the mortal realm." She supplied, her voice soft and high, catching in the wing like the call of a bird, and flighty like the pace of a deer or a fox. "I was wondering if you had come to any revelations on what I can do, or what any of us can do."
Shion grinned, "That is fine, anything in particular you want to talk about?" He asked, picking a few things off of the floor and throwing them in hampers, trash-bags, or onto the table depending on what they were. He sat and patted the couch beside him, signalling that she could sit if she so wanted.
-
Remian grimaced. "Okay," She started, "But if you find anything else in your studies, notify me immediately." She pleaded, a note of fear in her voice, before she turned and left, headed for the Shard Temple.
"Okay, how about we take a walk, as to not wake Rayn, and we can just talk." Shion suggested, standing.
-
OOC: Sorry, guys, I'm going to sleep for the night! See ya tomorrow.
-
Shion laughed. "I don't know, I thought you had that covered. What about we talk about you. What is the extent of your powers?"
Remian floated towards the doorway of the Shard Temple, seeing Ethriel and stopping. "Hello, father," She trilled, smiling softly. "I have a question for Gres, but I'd assume you know something as well. Do you know anything of chaos's current standpoint? He has interfered with my kingdom minutely, and I was wondering if you had had any current trouble with him." She rushed, her voice flowing smoothly.
-
Shade continued, "Can you go to the immortal realm?"
Remian nodded. "Tell me if anything comes up." She then walked into the temple. She paused for a moment, memorizing the beautiful architecture, and continued on to find the High Priest. "Hello? Brother?" She called out, hoping he'd remember her voice.
-
"That's wonderful!" Shion exclaimed, "What's it like?"
Ramiel grinned. "It's been a while, brother, how have you been? I've had some... Problems recently..." She answered vaguely. "Chaos has recently had influence over my animals, have you had trouble? I spoke to Joan, and he had a bit, but I'd imagine your two answers combined would help. What has chaos been up to?"
-
OOC: I'm going to start color-coding my dialog as well, it's getting a bit confusing.
"I haven't," Reniam responded, looking to him seriously. "If Father has sent you down to work on it... How close could he be? He can't possibly be strong enough to-" She swallowed loudly, looking into his eyes. "He can't possibly be strong enough to challenge Sol, can he?" She asked fearfully. There were two gods that could stop chaos, but how strong could he be? She sighed. "Joan told me a few things and... Things seem to be amounting to disaster. Please tell me your son has some way, some terribly awful way of getting chaos before it gets out of hand." She pleaded, staring directly into Gres's eyes.
"It sounds so... Beautiful..." Shion said, amazed. "I used to watch the stars, so long ago when the orphanage didn't have a stranglehold. I would climb up on the roof and watch them go by as the night turned to day. It was so... Mystifying."
-
Shion bowed his head slightly, chuckling. "Beauty just has to have consequences, eh?" He smiled. "But that's alright, I still have this." He smiled, looking towards the sky, and watching the colors dance as though they'll never come again. "Even if it isn't perfect, I'm sure this is good enough for a demi-god like me," He looked at Kate. "I'll always have this."
-
"Could you? Would it be okay? Are you really that strong?" He asked, his words going a thousand miles an hour, but still recognizable. "Would your father be okay with it?" He asked, suddenly nervous. He knew the god of shadows musn't like him too much now, knowing he had called him all those things, and threatened him. Threatened him for the gods sakes! He sighed "You don't have to if it isn't. Siren's skies are good for me."
-
Shion grinned. "How do we get there? Do we need to wait a bit so you can get ready, or talk to your dad or something? We have all the time in the world." The light of Siren's two moons glistened on his excited face, the multicolored starts enchanted him, as he looked back up to the heavens. He smiled brightly. "Thank you, Kate."

OOC: So Scott will have limited control on a third person basis? Also, Reniam should be able to control and view Scott through its eyes should she want to? -
Shion followed closely, fearful for himself and Kate alike. Could she do this? It seemed as if she was losing strength already. Silently, he walked in her footsteps to the Ethriel's piece of the immortal realms, watching the world behind him vanish into darkness.

OOC: Okay. So as long as she's on the bird's good side? Haha. It'll have to leave you in order for me to use it, so when you've finished with it after certain posts, I'll have control over it. -
Shion gasped and knelt down next to Kate, checking her over quickly and murmuring. "Oh, Kate, you dodn't have to do this... Will you be okay?" He then noticed Ethriel behind him. Shion sighed, but bowed to the newly arrived god. He still didn't like him, but he musn't insult him in his own realm. Otherwise we may not get out alive.
-
OOC: Awful place ro leave off, but I've got to sleep! Night!

Shion sighed. "She wanted to take me here, but I guess the journey was a little too tough." He looked at her, his brow creasing. "I'm sorry, I pushed her to do it." -
Remian looked down. "I cannot do too much, but my animals are very good at gathering information I might not get otherwise, and I can help strong-willed mortals who are willing to help. Otherwise, I am afraid, I am not going to be much of a help. The best I can do is try not to be a burden." She looked up again. "If you or any of your subjects require my assistance don't hesitate to call on me, I will always be ready to help." She sighed and turned. "Let's just hope our more shadowed prophecies stay word of mouth, or my fate is sealed."
Shion was exasperated. "Kate, how could you do that to us? You could have gotten yourself killed! You should have told me you needed some time to gain strength." He sighed. "But the past is the past, and we need to live in the present. Just try to tell me next time, okay?"
