Flameleap curled up around Sagekit protectively. she wrapped her tail around her paws and dozed off into a troubled sleep. She dreamed that slowly but surely her family was dying. she woke up. she knew that her Dream was not real but she knew that Ravenstar needed extreme care and she was the one that knew more about medicine.

"Oh nothing it was just a dream nothing real." she settled back down and protectivly wrapped her tail around Sagekit. "But we do need to watch out for things."

Flameleap couldnt go back to sleep. she decided to go hunting to take her mind off the dream. she padded through the clearing she could smell some prey that was starting to rouse from sleep. she wonderd when Sagekit would become an apprentice. She caught a vole and carried it back to the camp so Ravenstar wouldn't have to hunt when he awoke.

"Oh dont worry i hunted only about 3 hours ago. i should be enough to feed all of us but if your still hungry you can go."

"Oh belive me i guite enjoyed it. i couldnt go to sleep untill i went hunting. you have anything planned today"? asks Flameleap.

"Really? im proud for him." Flameleap stared at Sagekit with pride glowing in her eyes.

Pride made Flamleaps emearald eyes glow like fire. her kit stepped up to Ravenstar relizing that he was now an apprentice.

"Who else would be his mentor?" Flameleap purred in amusement.

"I agree."Flameleap meowed and went to show Sagekit around the borders."Heres the forest. you probably dont remember it but here it is." Flameleap showed Sagekit around the forest.

Flameleap had finished showing Sage paw around the borders and decided to show Sagepaw the basics of hunting. "Ok, you have to crouch down."she did so. "Sniff the wind make sure its the way." she lifted her head and sniiffed. "And Pounce!" she leaped onto a leaf carefully."You try." Sagepaw pounced into the air touched the leaf and slipped."Close." Flameleap replied

"Sagepaw you look tired maybe you should head to the apprintice den." Flameleap meowed to the young cat. "Ok."Sagepaw yawned. Flameleap could make out the shape of a troubled Ravenstar. "Whats wrong Ravenstar?"Flameleap asked.

" We have to launch an attack." Flameleap meowed simply. She could imagine herself tearing fur off of their scraggly pelts. "What do you think Ravenstar?" she asked flexing her claws.

"Sagepaw is an apprintice. he can take care of himself. Anyway he is sleeping in his den right now. He wont know we have left." Flameleap meowed.

"But i havent taught him any hunting moves yet!"Flamelepa mewed in protest. "but if you promise to defend him i will let you take him with us.

Flameleap headed over to the apprintice den to awake Sagepaw. He drowsily looked up at her. "What do you want?" he asked. "Me and Ravenstar are going to attack some pesky rouges." Sagepaw looked up at her and got up following her and Ravenstar."Are you ready Ravenstar?"Flameleap asked the clan leader.

Flameleap lunged herself at the skinny cats and tore her claws across their pelts. A black cat raked claws at her side. with a yowl blood gushed across her pelt. she pinned the black cat. it writhed under her weight. finally it gave in.

All the rougse were gone. sticky blood lay in clumps on the grass. A metallic scent of blood hung in the air, they had won.
